"I’m fine~" Jane Sampson blinked her beautiful eyes at Jas Black, then with a little face, she said to Jas, "I don’t have any money~"
Seeing that Jas Black ignored her, she reached out and tugged at Jas Black’s hand, repeating herself.
"I don’t have any money~"
Every word was accompanied by that gaze and that expression.
As pitiful as it could be.
"I can’t afford the watch you like." Jane Sampson pouted and tapped Jas Black’s palm, "I can’t buy anything at all~"
"Gifts aren’t about the price, but the thought." Jas Black’s hand closed, and that small hand was enveloped in his palm.
Jane Sampson looked at Jas Black’s face for a few seconds, trying to see how credible his words were from his eyes.
Seeing his expression was natural, and his eyes were reflecting her image, sincere and without evasion.
Jane Sampson believed him.
"Then I’ll go prepare for you now!" Jane Sampson lifted the blanket, sat up, didn’t even put on shoes, and dashed into the study, while shouting, "Stay there, don’t move, I’ll be out right away!"
Jas Black thought that Jane Sampson was getting so cards, thinking to himself, having cards isn’t bad either, but he needed at least three.
He wanted to help her with the bookshelf, but she didn’t let him, so Jas Black obediently sat there not moving, as she specifically reminded him to stay put; he worried that if he entered on his own, he would ruin the sense of ceremony she ntioned, and she’d be unhappy.
Jane Sampson dashed out in under three seconds with both hands behind her back.
Jas Black was surprised at her speed.
With that little ti, she couldn’t even move the bookshelf, right?
"You stretch out your left hand and close your eyes, don’t peek until I say you can open them!" Jane Sampson sneakily said to Jas, with both hands behind her back.
From Jas Black’s position, he was sitting and couldn’t see what she was hiding behind her.
So, Jas Black closed his eyes and stretched out his left hand.
Jane Sampson thought about it, dashed back to the bedroom, took a scarf, folded it several tis, and tied it on Jas Black’s eyes, feeling pleased, "Now you can’t see anything!"
Feeling accomplished, Jane Sampson clapped her little hands, then took out the things she just took from the study from her pocket.
——A ballpoint pen.
She crouched in front of Jas Black, holding the pen in one hand and his palm in the other, then seriously drew a circle on his wrist, followed by a few lines, then ticulously filled in the rest on his wrist.
In less than a minute, a vivid watch appeared on Jas Black’s wrist.
Upon closer inspection, the brand was even included on the dial.
JSY.
Jane Sampson contentedly put the pen back into her pocket, then untied the scarf from Jas Black’s eyes.
"Ta-da! Here’s my gift to you, designed by Jane Sampson, senior designer of the JSY brand." Jane Sampson stood in front of Jas Black, with her lips curled in a smile, "Gifts are about the thought, not the price. This is the new watch I’m giving you, hope you like it."
Jane Sampson rubbed her hands together in front of her chest, with a hopeful expression looking at Jas Black.
However, in fact, even before Jas Black’s eyes were uncovered by the scarf, he already knew what Jane Sampson was doing.
From that mont, his face had gone dark.
Even now, looking at Jane Sampson’s cautious and appeasing deanor, his face still grew darker.
