Joseph Shaw is no longer going along with Jillian Carter’s wishes in everything he says and does. He knows that he was really wrong before. He shouldn’t have kept indulging her, which only made her more and more unreasonable, ungrateful.
"I don’t care! What was mine at first will be mine forever!" Jillian Carter wiped her tears and stood up again, "Fine, I’m not making a fuss now, but you need to help teach those opportunistic bitches a lesson!"
"What do you want to do?" Joseph Shaw asked sternly.
"I don’t want to do anything! You help find so people to beat them up, just beat them once and I’ll feel better!" Jillian Carter gritted her teeth, "Make them shut their filthy mouths, give them a few slaps."
"Jillian Carter, I am a defender. You’re asking to take the salary given by the country to do sothing illegal, to use the connections and resources given by the Carter Family to harm the family’s younger generation and relatives?" Joseph Shaw scoffed repeatedly, "Jillian Carter, when you say these things, have you ever thought about ? Thought about what your husband, I, would face after things get exposed?"
"Jillian Carter, I won’t do these things, and I won’t allow you to do them either. Listen, if they suffer any inexplicable harm, I will expose you imdiately." Joseph Shaw said coldly, "Starting today, I will not indulge you in anything. If you cherish our marriage, then properly manage your company and don’t think about anything else or do anything else."
After speaking, Joseph Shaw glanced at Jillian Carter who was staring at him in disbelief. He knew in his heart what such an expression ant.
"You stay here, I’ll go have a word with dad and mom, and then we’ll leave." Joseph Shaw threw down these words and turned away.
Jillian Carter watched Joseph Shaw’s departing figure, angrily cursing in place. When he was out of sight, she simply ran off, having no intention of waiting for him.
Because Jas Black had told her earlier that he would take her to the night market this evening, Jane Sampson held back her urge to try every type of dessert.
Before the banquet was about to end, Rose Carter and a group of people ran over and tentatively asked if they could take a group photo with her.
Jane Sampson cheerfully agreed. In the more than half an hour left, Jane beca like a mascot, standing there waiting for everyone to co and take photos with her.
With the banquet over, Jane was pulled into a group by Oscar Wilson.
In the group were Rose Carter and the other young ones who attended the family banquet tonight.
As soon as Jane Sampson entered, a red envelope rain began in the group.
Amidst the red envelope rain were so jokes about Jane Sampson.
"Your Twitter na looks so serious, I didn’t expect your WhatsApp na to be so informal! Are you and my uncle-in-law spreading dog food all over the world? — Rose Carter.
"Let guess, my uncle-in-law’s WhatsApp nickna is Jane Sampson’s Mr. Black, right? Dearest madam, with you two like this, haven’t your friends blocked you? — Ava Carter.
"Eating their dog food every day, I’ve gotten used to it! When we went to the mansion fishing last ti in Capital Province, oh my, by the ti I got ho, I was almost a Mona spirit. — Oscar Wilson.
Jane Sampson cheerfully poked at the red envelopes while reading the ssages everyone sent.
After grabbing the red envelopes, Jane also sent out a few herself and then called Jas Black over, pointing at the screen at the words ’my uncle-in-law’ and laughed heartily.
"In the southland, there’s this kind of seniority term? Jas Black, uncle-in-law haha, you’ve suddenly jumped a few generations." When Jane first saw those words, she laughed so hard that tears were about to fall.
