In the study, Jas Black heard every single word.
He also knew that Jane Sampson was speaking so he could hear.
Just as he knew, when Jane turned and left just now, she was truly very upset.
He intended to give her the cold shoulder a bit, as a way to correct her disobedience.
But now, Jas was starting to feel uneasy.
He never imagined his wife would be so upset.
Jas thought, if he continued to ignore her, by the anniversary day, she might really not want to spend it with him.
A situation like this, an extrely angry Jane Sampson was definitely capable of that.
As long as she ran back to the Black Residence with auntie and grandfather protecting her, he would be powerless against her.
Jas put down the Romance of the Three Kingdoms he hadn’t really absorbed, waiting for Jane to finish her call, as he pretended to go out for water, walking past her.
Then suddenly halted.
As if nonchalant, but actually deliberate, he asked her, "Who were you chatting so loudly with just now?"
Jane pouted her lips, initially not wanting to respond to him.
After thinking for a mont, she said, "Sister Tin, asking if I’m free on the 20th of next month to participate in a reality TV show recording."
"How did you reply?" Jas hurriedly asked.
"I’m free, I’m quite idle!" Jane turned away from Jas, "I agreed, after all, it’s only two days, and the place isn’t far, just recording in the new province, the scenery over there is beautiful this season."
When it ca to spouting nonsense, Jane had beco even more adept, and Jas didn’t even realize she was pretending.
"You’re not allowed to go!" Jas’s face was almost dark with frustration at Jane’s indifferent attitude, "I won’t allow it."
"My legs are on , I’ll go if I want to, you can’t control it." Jane said proudly, then stood up, bypassed Jas, and hobbled back into the bedroom.
After entering the room, Jane peeked quietly, seeing that Jas hadn’t followed her, she leaned against the corner of the wall, smiling triumphantly.
Hmph! Let’s see if he doesn’t get angry to death!
Jane humd a song as she went into the bathroom to run a bath for herself.
Jas stood in the living room for several minutes before moving.
He went back to the study and directly got his mobile phone to call Rock Bell, but the line was busy.
After waiting a few minutes and calling again, it was still busy.
Obviously, she was busy discussing sothing.
Thinking of what Jane said just now about the reality TV show on the 20th, Jas suspected that Rock Bell might truly be negotiating this work matter.
Feeling frustrated, Jas slamd down the phone and went directly to the room.
Hearing sounds from the bathroom, Jas went over, only to hear Jane’s singing as soon as he reached the doorway.

"Jane Sampson." Jas knocked on the door.
Inside, Jane heard Jas calling her but didn’t respond.
"About the reality TV show on the 20th of next month, I forbid you to go, I’ll tell Sister Bell to cancel this job for you later." Jas was giving Jane an advance notice.
Jane still kept silent, not replying to him.
Continuing to hum her song.
"If you don’t speak, I’ll take it as your consent." Jas said.
Jane couldn’t hold back and finally spoke.
"Bah!"
A crisp sound of ’bah,’ not a word more.
The song couldn’t be continued.
Jas stood at the doorway, touched his nose tip, and raised his eyebrows.
Was silent for a few seconds.
"Once you finish your bath, I’ll give you a leg massage."
A wife who he made upset, he definitely needed to coax back into happiness, right?
"In the afternoon, I’ll buy yogurt for you to drink."
The person inside the bathroom still kept quiet.
Jas wasn’t sure if Jane was still angry, so he said one more thing, "If you’ve heard , just make a sound."
The next second, the door opened, Jane wrapped in a bath towel stood at the doorway and said to Jas.
"Squeak."
Then, with a ’bang,’ the door was closed by Jane again.
