Jas Black was thoroughly left out in the cold by Jane Sampson.
When she was asked to speak up, she indeed spoke up.
So, was she appeased? Or was she still not appeased?
Jas Black snorted and muttered, "Such a big temper."
Jas Black raised his hand to knock on the door, adding, "I’ll buy you another piece of cake."
Inside, Jane Sampson was splashing water around, and her eyes lit up. Fearing that Jas Black might go back on his word, she quickly replied, "Okay! You must keep your word, no lying. If you lie, I’ll ignore you forever."
"I’ve never lied to you," Jas Black responded in a deep voice, then walked away with a smile.
Finally, she was appeased.
Jane Sampson soaked in the bath room for ten minutes, then changed into pajamas and ca out. The hot water made her all flushed, but it did ease her leg soreness quite a bit.
Jas Black didn’t return to the study; he waited in the bedroom for her to co out.
Jane Sampson glanced at Jas Black, beckoned him with her little finger, then climbed onto the bed, lying there with a sly smile waiting for him to co over.
"Lie down, and I’ll massage your lower legs." Jas Black patted Jane Sampson’s flat belly and instructed her, waiting for her to turn over, and adeptly massaged her.
This comfortable enjoynt made Jane Sampson lay there and continuously express her comfort.
Short sounds like ah, um, wow, and oh made Jas Black involuntarily lift his eyes to glance at her.
"Planning on making more fuss in the future?" Jas Black slightly increased the strength in his hands and asked.
"No more fuss." Jane Sampson honestly admitted her mistake, "I should obediently listen to you and run with you slowly."
To know one’s mistake and to correct it is a great virtue.
Jas Black gave a satisfied hum.
"I’ll take you out after the lunch break," Jas Black said.
"Is it to buy a cake?" Jane Sampson turned her head to look at Jas Black, "Can I choose it myself?"
She asked, delighted.
Jas Black knew Jane Sampson’s behavior too well, so he didn’t give her the chance to say another sentence and directly said, "A single-serving cake, style is up to you."
Limited to a single serving.
In Jane Sampson’s mischievous eyes, the sentence from earlier was clear as day.
She wanted to choose a super large cake for herself.
"Mm~" Jane Sampson couldn’t hide her disappointnt in her tone, "Got it."
Then, she turned her head back, dutifully lying there, playing with her slender jade fingers.
After a bit of thinking, unwilling to give up, she tentatively asked, "Then can I buy more yogurt?"
"Sure." Jas Black agreed to this request.
Even though she got an affirmative answer, the thought of the cake still made Jane Sampson exclaim and sigh deeply.
"Jas Black, you can upset more often, really." Jane Sampson said earnestly.
The more he upset her, the less happy she’d be, which would an Jas Black, not being good with words, would have to buy delicious treats to appease her.
Therefore, such annoyance was quite worth it.
Jas Black lifted his eyelids, raised his hand, and gave Jane Sampson’s bottom a light slap, "Behave yourself."
Jane Sampson giggled and replied with a good-natured response. Just as she was about to speak again, her mobile phone rang.
"Could you bring it over, it’s a call from Sister Tin." Jane Sampson ordered Jas Black as soon as she spoke.
Jas Black imdiately thought of Jane Sampson’s work on the 20th of next month, so he sat there motionless. Jane Sampson looked at him suspiciously, ready to get up and grab the mobile phone herself, but he firmly pushed her back down.
