"Let’s have a talk, once we’re done, you can call back at your leisure." Jas Black said, "As for the work on the 20th of next month, you’re not allowed to go."
Jane Sampson flipped over and sat up, looking at Jas Black. She couldn’t hold back a laugh, and then, taking advantage of Jas Black’s montary inattention, she bolted from the bed, stretched out her hand, grabbed the mobile phone, and answered it.
Hearing Jane Sampson say hello, Jas Black’s face darkened slightly.
"Jane, I explained your situation to the program crew. After so discussion, they called back just now. They said Jas wouldn’t have to appear in person; they’d have him fill out two questionnaires. While he’s filling them out, the director will ask him a few questions, and the program crew will handle his voice specially."
Rock Bell couldn’t help but feel proud of Jane Sampson as he spoke, "What do you think? I was inclined to refuse on your behalf, but the producers kept begging , and it’s hard to refuse when you’re so outstanding. Your popularity is too high. If they can invite you, it would undoubtedly boost their show’s ratings trendously."
Rock Bell never hesitates to praise and admire Jane Sampson.
The complints made Jane Sampson a bit embarrassed.
Just as she was about to speak, soone suddenly pressed close behind her, and hands appeared in front of her belly.
She slightly turned her head to look at Jas Black embracing her from behind and chuckled softly.
A fellow so openly and uniquely eavesdropping on phone calls.
"I’ll ask Jas." Jane Sampson patted the hands around her belly and turned to relay what Rock Bell had just said to Jas Black.
Then she asked him, "What do you think? Are you going or not?"
Jas Black was slightly taken aback.
"Are we going together?" Jas Black was still a bit surprised, but as he considered the timing, he shook his head, "I’m not free."
Compared to being surrounded by a group of people, Jas Black preferred spending that special anniversary alone with Jane Sampson.
Moreover, Jas Black couldn’t free up two days to attend the recording.
Jane Sampson chuckled twice, "Just teasing you earlier; it’s not a two-day recording — only half a day."
Jas Black finally understood. Jane Sampson wasn’t teasing him earlier; she was intentionally goading him.
Yet even so, Jas Black couldn’t muster any anger.
He lifted his hand and tapped the back of Jane Sampson’s head, "You need a cleanup."
"So are you going or not?" Jane Sampson dodged his finger, her voice soft and sweet.
Seeing Jas Black remain silent, she knew what he ant; he wasn’t keen on going.
But Jane Sampson really wanted Jas to go.
She turned around to face Jas Black, stood on tiptoe, and kissed him on the corner of his lips, starting to act coyly, "Will you go, please? I want you to co with , and if you do, I’ll give you a reward!"
"What reward?" Jas Black’s eyes softened. With Jane Sampson’s coquettishness, his initial reluctance was nearly gone.
"A kiss card." Jane Sampson waved a tender finger in front of Jas Black.
Jas Black seed to ponder for a mont, then spoke, "Three cards, one for each."
Whoa, he’s bargaining.
Jane Sampson pouted.
"Deal!" Jane Sampson agreed. Then she replied to Rock Bell, saying Jas Black had agreed.
Rock Bell had heard every word of their negotiation and bargaining just now.
"To sweet-talk your Father Black into going, you’ve made quite the sacrifice." Rock Bell teased.
