"What’s wrong?" Jane Sampson asked casually as she bent down to change her slippers.
Jas Black took a step back, waiting for Jane to finish changing her shoes before he stretched out his arms toward her.
Jane paused, then understood, walked over, hugged him, and with a bright smile asked, "Seeing you like this, do you miss a lot?"
"Why would I miss you? Miss how you annoy ?" Jas Black held the little wife in his arms, but his words weren’t all too pleasant, "Miss how many secrets you’ve been keeping from lately?"
"If you’re like this, then we won’t be able to chat anymore." Jane Sampson stood on her tiptoes and gave Jas Black a light kiss on the corner of his lips.
Only then did Jas Black raise his eyebrows and release her, saying, "I bought you so snacks."
Originally Jane Sampson was going to change clothes in the bedroom and then make a al, but upon hearing this, she turned back to the tea table and glanced at the uncollected shopping bags on it.
Inside were all the snacks Jas Black bought for her; one look was enough to see what was there.
"Sunflower seeds, alphabet cookies, lollipops, pistachios, plums, wow, Jas, you’ve got quite the insight today." Jane Sampson poured out the contents, and there were indeed a variety of snacks.
Jane thought maybe the sun rose from the west today; she turned her head to look at the balcony direction.
After praising Jas Black, Jane worried he’d change his mind, so she quickly grabbed all the snacks and went to hide them first. After hiding them, she changed into ho clothes and hopped back to Jas Black’s side, jumping up to hang onto him.
Her sudden pounce made Jas Black step back two steps to steady himself, but his instinctive action was to reach out and tightly hold the little monkey-like wife hanging on him, afraid she’d fall and get hurt.
"Don’t pounce like that in the future, what if you fall and hurt yourself?" Jas Black tapped Jane Sampson’s head, "You’re really like a monkey."
"Not afraid, even if I fall, you’ll cushion . Your skin is thick and you won’t hurt." Jane Sampson responded playfully, pouting, "Kiss."
Seeing her like this, Jas Black knew that those snacks had made her very happy.
He lowered his head and kissed her on the lips a few tis as she wished, then carried her into the kitchen, patting her back, "Let’s cook."
This lunch, Jane Sampson cooked it very happily. If she had known Jas Black would be so easygoing today, she would have scheduled the morning things for the afternoon.
Going to the supermarket with him in the morning, she might have sweet-talked him into buying a few more snacks.
After lunch, Jane Sampson and Brooke Black had arranged a video call with her doctor to show the current recovery status of the scars on her arms.
The doctor looked at her arms and scheduled a ti for the repair half a month later.
During the video call, Jas Black sat next to her, staring at her arms.
Now in the Capital Province, it was already late autumn, going out required wearing long sleeves and a coat, so no one knew how the scars on Jane Sampson’s arm looked now.
Even in the house, Jane didn’t like wearing strappy PJs, instead, she bought long-sleeved PJs and pajamas, and Jas Black could only see those hidden scars on her wrist exposed when she was asleep.
Every ti he saw them, Jas felt an overwhelming sense of guilt.
