Nia told Jane Sampson she learned to sing the song Jane Sampson sang and wanted to sing it for her.
Jane Sampson chuckled and sent a WhatsAPP video to Nia.
Even though Nia is young, she’s already skilled with these mobile operations; simple ones like sending voice ssages and receiving videos she can handle. Though she can’t read, she rembers the icons.
"Sister Jane, I’ll sing for you~ Mom says I sing very well." Nia blinked her eyes curiously at Jane Sampson on the video, and then, holding the mobile phone, giggled happily.
"Alright, Nia, sing, I’m listening." Jane Sampson nodded, waiting for Nia to sing.
Nia sang the duet from the Spring Festival Gala she perford with Jas Carter. The little miss enunciated with a childish lisp; the singing wasn’t exceptionally great, but the earnest innocence of the child was particularly infectious.
Nia sang Jane Sampson’s part. Though the little girl couldn’t read, she could rember the lyrics, showing that Nia was quite clever.
A young girl doesn’t understand the sorrow in the lyrics; she couldn’t convey the lody’s subtle emotions, but she sang with great joy, and Jane Sampson was equally pleased to listen.
After Nia finished singing, Jane Sampson enthusiastically applauded and showered Nia with praise.
Nia joyfully waved her arms and legs, holding the mobile phone, which shook along.
Jane Sampson, with a keen eye, spotted a familiar face in the brief passing fra.
"Nia, who is your mom talking to outside?" Jane Sampson asked.
Nia’s bed was close to the ward door, so just now, when the image flashed, Jane Sampson saw Sister Grace at the doorway talking to a person seemingly familiar.
Though it was brief, Jane Sampson believed she wouldn’t mistake this.
"There’s an unknown uncle, Mom doesn’t seem to know him either. The uncle brought a brother and a sister, but they don’t talk much; they just stood outside without coming in," Nia said.
"Nia, when your mom cos in, could you have her call ?" Jane Sampson said. "Sister Jane needs to talk to your mom about sothing."
"Okay, Sister Jane, I’ll definitely rember to tell Mom," Nia agreed crisply.
Since Jane Sampson needed to discuss sothing with Jas Black, she ended the call with Nia without chatting further.
"Jas," Jane Sampson sat up, turned, and called out to Jas Black, "I saw Rachel Miller talking to Sister Grace. How could Rachel Miller know Sister Grace?"
"One is the wealthy Young Master of the Miller Family, the other a single mother abandoned by a scumbag; the two clans aren’t relatives, how could they be together?" Jane Sampson was quite puzzled. "I heard from Nia that it seems Sister Grace also doesn’t know Rachel Miller."
"Why is he everywhere?" Jas Black furrowed his eyebrows, his tone clearly disdainful, evidently a bit displeased.
