"Jane Sampson, I rember telling you that you can’t do kissing scenes."
"How is this considered a kissing scene? It’s just Harry Humming giving Jane Blackwood a peck on the cheek, barely a touch, not a kiss on the mouth." Jane Sampson was so stunned she was at a loss for words, "International courtesy kisses are even more intimate than this."
"In any case, I forbid it, either use position substitution or just quit the role." Jas Black took the script, collected it, and placed it on the bedhead cabinet, "No room for negotiation, you make the call."
"Hey! Jas Black!" Jane Sampson stood up straightaway, "You’re being unreasonable!"
"Here, my word is the law," Jas Black said.
"You overlord!" Jane Sampson was so angry she jumped up and down, her little hands already shaped into fists.
"Yes," Jas Black stood, admitting outright to Jane Sampson’s accusations, "If you have any more objections, you won’t be leaving the house at noon either."
Jane Sampson felt as if fire was about to shoot from her eyes.
Stay calm!
She must remain calm!
A few seconds later, Jane Sampson still couldn’t hold back, and she exploded.
Damn it!
To hell with staying calm!
"Jas Black!" Jane Sampson directly chased after him, blocking Jas Black who was already leaving the bedroom, and shouted loudly, "I want a divorce from you! I can’t live like this anymore!"
"In your dreams," Jas Black said as he walked past Jane Sampson, took a few steps forward, then sat down on the sofa.
Jane Sampson still stood where she was, motionless, staring at him, while Jas Black didn’t pay any attention to her, simply turned on the TV, flipped through a few channels, and, not finding what he wanted to watch, stopped looking. By chance, the channel he stopped on was showing the animated film Tom and Jerry, and Jas Black, slightly irritated, casually placed the remote control next to him, then picked up a newspaper and laid it across his knees to read.
Jas Black didn’t absorb a single word from what was written in the newspaper; his focus was entirely on Jane Sampson, who was still standing there.
He didn’t turn his head to look at her, but he listened intently to the sounds behind him.
After waiting a few minutes, Jas Black thought Jane Sampson would have gone back to the bedroom to sulk, but suddenly, he heard her laughing behind him like a fool.
Jas Black glanced at the TV, and saw Tom stepping on a mousetrap, howling in pain.
Indeed...
Even when angry, the young wife couldn’t stay focused.
"Jane Sampson, do you want a lollipop?" Jas Black suddenly asked.
Without surprise, the person behind him crisply responded to his question, "Yes."
As he turned around, Jane Sampson was already eagerly running over to reach for it.
But just as her fingertips were about to touch the lollipop in his hand, her expression suddenly changed, and she quickly retracted her hand, scolding him, "Sneaky!"
Jane Sampson glared at Jas Black again, huffing and muttering curses under her breath, accusing Jas Black of being deviously cunning by using the animated show to divert her attention.
Unperturbed by the insults, Jas Black laughed instead, a low chuckle.
Jas Black thought to himself with a silent laugh that evidently, a cat that’s easily angered is also easily soothed.
"Don’t laugh!" As Jas Black laughed, Jane Sampson felt more embarrassed, and imdiately lunged over, trying to cover Jas Black’s mouth with her hand, "I’m really angry like this; I’m going to run away from ho!"
Jas Black took Jane Sampson’s hand off his lips, raised his eyebrows, "If you think you can get past and through the main gate, be my guest."
Jane Sampson knew herself well enough to know she couldn’t make it.
She pushed Jas Black forcefully, hoping to vent her frustration, but after a couple of pushes, with Jas Black still sitting there immovable, her anger grew.
"You might as well just infuriate to death!" Jane Sampson directly sat next to Jas Black, reached out, and snatched the lollipop from his hand, unwrapping it and popping it into her mouth in no ti, and mumbled while talking, "Jas Black, let’s talk this out calmly and rationally."
If the hard approach didn’t work, it was ti to try the soft approach.
