Jane Sampson suddenly fell silent, Jas Black thought she might hang up the phone in displeasure, so, after waiting a few seconds, he tentatively called out her na and asked, "When do you think you’ll be back?"
After all, they had only been apart for a week, but, perhaps because he was accustod to her bustling about, the sudden quiet by his side sohow felt unfamiliar.
Every ti Jas Black returned to his dormitory alone, he felt that having soone to liven things up a bit was quite nice, actually.
"Are you missing terribly?" Jane Sampson suddenly brightened up again, "Always asking when I’m coming back. I’ve only been away for a week. Do you feel like ’a day apart seems like three years’, missing every day to the point where you can’t even enjoy your tea or your al?"
"Jane Sampson, are you asking for a scolding?" Jas Black’s voice took on a slight edge, "Speak properly."
Distance can embolden people, and at this mont, Jane Sampson, miles away from Jas Black, was exceptionally bold.
"You can’t scold now." Jane Sampson’s taphorical tail seed to waggle up to heaven above, "I might be asking for it, but right now you can’t do anything about it."
"Right now I can’t do anything about it, feeling proud? Have you forgotten that you’ll be back in at most half a month? Hm?" A single hm, full of Jas Black’s threatening tone.
So people really need a good talking-to every three days, otherwise they’ll be up on the roof tearing off the tiles.
At tis like these, Jas Black thought, having Jane Sampson fear him a little wasn’t without its benefits.
Not to the point where now, when he said sothing, she could still manage to cheekily retort.
If she were a bit afraid, she would do as he said.
"Then I just won’t co back! I’m running away from ho!" Jane Sampson was full of triumph, and besides, how long would it be before she returned?
She was enjoying her triumph now, and by the ti she ca back, Jas Black would have forgotten about today’s incident.
"You could try." Jas Black’s voice was mild, but within the tone, there was an undisguised hint of amusent, or perhaps, a touch of doting that even he might not have noticed.
Because it was getting late, and knowing that Jane Sampson had to get up early for filming the next day, Jas Black didn’t talk for too long and ended the call.
The online world was not at peace that night. Before Shirley Young’s statent had been issued, a forum place had started digging into the reasons behind Jane Sampson, a newcor, achieving such a high starting point. The post attributed all of Jane Sampson’s current opportunities to having a Movie King as a live-in boyfriend to gain favor for her.
It even maliciously speculated that the recent exposure of their living together might have been deliberately engineered by Jane Sampson herself to boost her popularity and attention rating.
Once this post was published, the number of people slandering Jane Sampson increased even more. With so deliberate guidance, almost everyone branded her as a scheming and green tea kind of person.
Perhaps because the na Jane Sampson was attracting more attention due to the incident, a small Twitter post ntioning her na saw its attention rating surge.
The Twitter post was from a junior reporter who, as an ordinary person who had direct contact with Jane Sampson, chose to stand by her side. ——
I believe that this incident has nothing to do with Jane Sampson. She is a very approachable and pleasant actress. When I and a few other reporters went to interview her and Mister Harry Humming, because it was the first ti interviewing actors, we were sowhat nervous. It was Jane who spoke up to put us at ease and gave us enough ti to conduct the interview. After the interview, she even took a group photo with us.
I trust my own feelings; such a girl, who smiles so purely, couldn’t possibly be the scheming type that others talk about. If she indeed is Shirley Young’s girlfriend, then I wish her happiness. If not, then I believe that she is unrelated to this incident and must also be a victim.
The Twitter post ended with an attachnt of the interview and also included a group photo of the blogger with Jane Sampson and Harry Humming. In the photo, Jane Sampson, dressed in her costus, didn’t have a bit of an idol’s pretense as both she and Harry Humming smiled for the lens.
As soon as the blogger tweeted, the readership started ticking up by the second, and the readership and the number of retweets for that small forum place’s interview post increased at an alarmingly rapid pace.
