It really sounded like they were lodging a complaint.
If they hadn’t been harboring resentnt for a long ti, they probably wouldn’t have blurted it out with such a tone.
Jane Sampson thought that she could feel the strong complaints the lovable team mbers had against Jas Black.
"Um, I should clarify sothing," Jane Sampson glanced at Jas Black, "The marriage certificate in your general’s hands is real, truly real, not a false one."
But destroying a false certificate seed like sothing Jas Black would do.
The guy was like a patriarch, he just couldn’t stand this kind of fraudulence.

Their Goddess Sampton, so cute and loveable, and so beautiful—if she really was their sister-in-law, married to their general, such a sullen and bossy man, how unlucky would that be?
John River thought it over and quietly moved to the back of the crowd to pull out his mobile phone and called Peter Gingery. When Peter picked up, he asked, "Brother Gingery, I have a very serious question for you."
"Speak," Peter’s voice was lazy on the phone.
"What exactly is the relationship between Goddess Sampton, Jane Sampson, and our general?" John River was extrely nervous after asking this question.
He was afraid of hearing from Peter that there was no relationship, but also afraid of hearing that they were husband and wife.
His face showed a decade of anguish.
"What?" Peter suddenly perked up, "Why are you asking this out of the blue?"
Hearing that Peter didn’t imdiately rebut with anger, John River vaguely understood the answer to his question.
Given Peter’s protective nature, if Goddess Sampton and his brother were not in a marital relationship, Peter would have outright cursed, considering the relationship he had with his sister-in-law.
"Which pig-brained person told you Jane Sampson has anything to do with my brother? What does she count for?"
However, Peter didn’t shout any of that.
"So, Brother Gingery, Jane Sampson, Goddess Sampton, is really the general’s wife, right?" John River slowly raised his hand to cover his little heart, thinking it was over, all over. After such a huge mix-up, he might not survive tonight.
Peter chuckled on the phone, "Only realizing it now? I saw that you had a great ti with my sister-in-law in the mountain village today."

Even though he had guessed as much, hearing Peter bluntly admit it and calling Jane Sampson sister-in-law still made John River’s heart skip a beat.
Over there, when Lieutenant Johnson returned, he saw a crowd of people blocking the way and, thinking there was so trouble, ran over. When he arrived and looked, he first shouted to Jane Sampson and Jas Black, "Chief, sister-in-law."
After calling out, Lieutenant Johnson turned his head to look at the group of people surrounding them and asked, "What are you all standing here for? Surrounding a group of people—are you planning to revolt?"
The team mbers were absorbed in Lieutenant Johnson’s use of the titles chief and sister-in-law.
Goddess Sampton said she was the chief’s wife.
Their general didn’t argue or deny it.
Lieutenant Johnson called Goddess Sampton sister-in-law in front of everyone.
