Now reading: Chapter 615 - 623: Self-Criticism Report from CEO's Reborn Wife, a Romance novel by Breeze Never Too Late.

Jas Black twirled the paper slip in his hand and in doing so, he discovered another item Jane Sampson had hidden.

Underneath the turtle, there lay a large "Black" character. If he hadn’t seen it faintly from the other side of the paper, Jas would have never guessed that Jane wrote the na "Black" in that spot right under where the turtle was attached.

She really was...

...bold to an extraordinary degree.

Jas couldn’t help but chuckle softly to himself, then carefully put away the slip of paper.

Next to the gift box that Jane Sampson had casually prepared for him, there was also a self-criticism report, folded neatly into a square.

Jas glanced at the self-criticism report, thought for a mont, then reached out and slowly, unhurriedly, unfolded it. As the first line ca into view, he couldn’t help but let a smile spread across his eyes.

—My adorable, dashing, handso and charming, irresistibly suave, gentle & considerate, with a belly big enough to sail a ship, and imnsely tolerant Lord Husband.

Jas’s gaze lingered on the words "Lord Husband," and he couldn’t help imagining Jane writing those words.

While buttering him up, she must have been grinding her teeth with resentful curses directed at her husband—the image was, when he thought about it, rather amusing.

Reading through the litany of "...and...and..." phrases, it seed she had run out of ideas toward the end and stuffed it with any words she could find, making it clear that the flattery was far from heartfelt.

Jas looked over the words "Lord Husband" again and again for a long ti before he finally moved his gaze to the content below the colon that followed "Lord Husband".

When Jas saw the endlessly repeated three words, he was quite surprised, yet not entirely taken aback.

He had suspected that she wouldn’t honestly write a 1,000-word self-criticism report, but he did not expect her to co up with such a cheeky way to dodge the task.

—My adorable, dashing, handso and charming, irresistibly suave, gentle & considerate, with a belly big enough to sail a ship, and imnsely tolerant Lord Husband:

I am wrong, I am wrong, I am wrong, I am wrong, I am wrong...I am wrong.

The main text consisted only of these three words, with punctuation included—a thousand words, not one more, not one less. She hadn’t even wanted to complete the last "I am wrong" with a final "wrong" to make a complete sentence.

Jas Black, holding the self-criticism report in his hand, gave a small movent of his eyes. This woman must have figured that, after tonight, she would be leaving the guard team tomorrow and thought he could do nothing about it, right?

This was the most unremorseful self-criticism report Jas Black had ever received. It seed that if Jane Sampson wasn’t disciplined for three days, she’d go as far as to strip tiles off the roof, her audacity reaching the heavens.

This 1,000-word self-criticism report, no wonder she looked so vexed that evening as she wrote out that infuriating sentence. Today, despite being busy, she still managed to turn in a 1,000-word report.

"Really needs a cleanup," mumbled Jas as he tossed both items into the trash can, then sat there staring at the things inside.

After hesitating for about one minute, he suddenly bent over to pick the items out of the trash, then stood up and took them into his study. He opened the bottommost drawer gently and placed them inside.

After putting them in, he unconsciously pressed down the corners, and once he had smoothed them out, he took out the self-criticism report that Jane had left unfinished last ti, with just one sentence on it, laid it on top of the other two items, and then carefully closed the drawer.
