"The exposé about you and Shirley Young was released by soone I hired," Mandy Forest said, her voice not low. After saying that, she self-mockingly curled the corners of her mouth, "Because I knew you had a close relationship with Jas Carter, I was blinded by jealousy at that ti. It’s laughable that I thought by doing this, maybe you and Jas Carter wouldn’t be involved anymore."
"I also owe you an apology for tossing your fruits on the film set," Mandy laughed mockingly. "Those fruits were sent by Jas Carter for you, right?"
"Reflecting on what I’ve done today, I find myself ugly and shaless," Mandy leaned against the water pool, her voice soft, "When I first entered this circle, I was bullied like this as well. At that ti, I hated these so-called seniors, and I told myself that once I made it, once I beca what others refer to as a ’Senior,’ I would never act like them."

Even though she was suddenly aware that it was Mandy who had done these things, aside from the trouble caused to Shirley Young, for which she had no right to forgive on Shirley’s behalf,
Jane felt no anger towards the troubles Mandy had caused her.

Jane might not know or understand the ordeal between Mandy and Jas Carter, but Mandy’s tears gave Jane a great shock.

After washing her face, Jane Sampson only applied a few moisturizing skincare products before putting on a mask and calling Jas Carter.
Ten minutes later, Jas Carter’s car appeared at the gate entrance of Headquarters of JK Company, and Jane Sampson opened the back seat door to get in, with Jas Carter turning his head to smile at her from the rear seat.
"Mr. Carter," Jane got in and greeted Jas Carter. As she closed the door, Jane unintentionally saw soone standing behind a tree at the doorway, dressed in clothes that seed to belong to Mandy.
"What’s wrong?" Jas Carter noticed Jane’s hesitation while closing the door and asked.
"It’s nothing," Jane shook her head, wondering to herself, Didn’t Mandy leave ten plus minutes before her? Why was she still at the main gate?

Or waiting for sothing?
The dining hall was chosen by Jane Sampson. As a foodie, Jane had searched online for dining options in City S before coming, which is how she knew about that popular candy store.
The reservation was made in advance by Jane, and after she and Jas Carter got out of the car, Jas Carter’s assistant drove away without the intent to join them.
To accommodate Jas Carter, Jane walked very slowly because she was in conversation with him the whole way. So, even if passersby noticed the pair walking at a snail’s pace, they simply assud the gentleman was accommodating the chatty lady and that was why they were moving slower.
