Jane Sampson lay on the bed, her back to Jas Black, so distance away from him.
"Jane Sampson..." Jas Black called out to the woman lying on the far side of the bed.
Before he could say anything else, Jane Sampson’s voice ca first.
"I’m very angry right now, I don’t want to talk to you, nor do I want to hear your voice, let alone see your face."
Her voice sounded very aggrieved, slightly trembling, as if she was trying hard to suppress her tears.
Jas Black had already reached out to pull her back, but he paused mid-gesture.
One could hear it and feel it, she was indeed angry.
Jas Black also fell silent, thinking about how to appease Jane Sampson.
His gaze remained on the figure of Jane, who lay on her side with her back to him. During the few minutes he spent thinking, she laid there quietly, motionless, and without making a sound.
It was as quiet as if she were asleep, but Jas Black knew she wasn’t.
"Jane Sampson," Jas Black softly called out to her, testing the waters.
Jane Sampson did not respond to him.
Just as Jas Black was about to call out again, Jane Sampson’s body suddenly moved a little.
She turned around and quickly leaned towards him, so fast that Jas Black barely had ti to see her expression before she was already clinging to him. The next second, she lifted the hem of his vest and buried her head under it, her upper body sprawled over him.
Jas Black was stunned.
"Jane Sampson?" Jas Black gently patted the area where his chest had bulged.
Jane Sampson still did not answer him, but he could feel her face pressed against his belly, her shoulders shaking slightly. After a while, his belly felt a patch of cold.
Was she crying?
Jas Black rubbed Jane Sampson’s head through his clothing, his movents gentle, then spoke again, his tone much softer, "Co out."
"I don’t want to," Jane Sampson finally responded, her two words carried an obvious sob in her voice.
It wasn’t hard to imagine her trying to speak while biting back tears.
Touching the person on his belly, Jas Black felt sowhat helpless. A person who even suppressed her crying...
"The money won’t disappear if it’s managed properly. If you want to spend money, I have it," Jas Black said. "What were you about to buy? If you still want it, co out and talk to properly."
The next second, the person who had been hiding under his clothing rapidly erged.
As expected, a pair of eyes were red and swollen, clearly having just cried.
After Jane Sampson ca out, she glanced at Jas Black and then quickly took the mobile phone from under the pillow. She opened the official shopping page and handed it directly to him, "I want this! It goes live on the official website at 12:30. Those who successful made an appointnt but don’t pay within two hours will have their orders canceled!"
Jas Black sat up and didn’t rush to look at Jane’s mobile phone. Instead, he pulled her into his arms to hold her, letting Jane lean on his arm before he looked at the phone in his young wife’s hand.
With just one glance, Jas Black’s temple throbbed.
"I should have let you keep crying," Jas Black spoke through gritted teeth. "Isn’t there already an ugly rabbit lying in the guest room next door? I haven’t thrown it out yet, and you’re going to bring another one ho?"
"It’s the rabbit bride, a limited edition!" Jane Sampson shouted at the top of her lungs. "You already have a wife, and you won’t allow Mr. Rabbit at my ho to have a wife too?"
