"Jane Sampson, it’s already 12:30. How long are you planning to hold that mobile phone?" Jas Black asked.
"Just a while longer, I’m five minutes short. Once it’s 12:30, I’ll quickly snag sothing and then go to sleep." Jane shuffled to the side to make so room for Jas, never taking her eyes off the mobile phone for even a second.
As soon as it hit 12:30, Jane swiftly exited the ga and headed straight to the website she had saved in her browser bookmark first thing in the morning. Even Jas could feel her spirit lift the mont the clock struck 12:30. It wasn’t an exaggeration to say she seed as if she’d been injected with an invigorating surge of energy, much like a shot of "blood."
But that state lasted only two minutes.
Two minutes later, Jane suddenly scread.
"Ah!! Jas Black, sothing terrible has happened!" Jane rocked Jas’s arm frantically, almost as if she’d lost her mind, "The money in my bank card is gone!"
Hearing Jane’s voice, she was nearly crying, "All gone, it’s all my recent salary, all gone."
The more Jane talked, the more wronged she felt. She handed the mobile phone to Jas to show him, her finger poking insistently at the numbers displayed on the bank APP, "There’s only two bucks left, how can there be only two bucks left?"
Jane had taken on two dramas and participated in two variety shows, and all these earnings had already been settled. Her bank card was supposed to have seven figures of savings in it again.
But when she just now tried to make an online paynt, she received a balance insufficient notification. Only upon checking the mobile banking did she discover that her seven-figure wealth had vanished, leaving behind a solitary two bucks.
Jas glanced at the numbers, his expression unmoved.
What’s so strange about being left with only two bucks?
Weren’t those two bucks what he had left for her?
"What’s the rush?" Jas pressed the woman, who was about to shoot up to heaven in her panic, back down. Then, he said, "I used your money to buy bank wealth managent products. Go check the financial managent section yourself to see if everything is there."
Jane was like soone struck by lightning, freezing on the spot. It took her quite a while to co around. She glanced at Jas half-doubtfully, then proceeded to the mobile banking app’s integrated wealth managent function.
The mont she entered, she saw that, indeed, all her money was tied up in wealth managent, all invested in wealth managent products.
Jane clicked for details and instantly blew up, "You bought a two-year plan! Over 700 days, you locked my money away for a whole two years!"
And that wasn’t the worst part. The mont Jane saw the effective date of the investnt, she was fuming.
"You got a wealth managent product that took effect at twelve o’clock?" Jane held her mobile phone with twelve degrees of restraint to avoid hurling it straight at Jas’s forehead.
"Yes." Jas nodded, his face the picture of calm, "I bought it while you were taking a bath."
After saying that, Jas let out a chuckle, "Now, no money, right?"
"!!!"
Jane was quite livid, and hearing Jas’s comnt about having no money left only made her explode on the spot.
"Why would you know the password to my mobile banking?" Jane nearly gnashed her teeth as she asked.
"I got it on my second try," Jas raised his eyebrows, "How difficult do you think those passwords of yours are for ?"
"Jas Black, you’re trying to infuriate to death, aren’t you?" Jane’s lips puckered up, looking as though she was on the verge of tears.
After she finished speaking, she quietly observed Jas for several monts, her eyes slowly reddening. Then she shoved the mobile phone under the pillow, flipped the quilt open, and dove headfirst into the quilt cocoon.
