"Then I’ll get you pickles and soy milk! The soy milk here is a bit different from what we have at ho; try it and see if it suits your taste. If you don’t like any of this stuff, there’s also porridge, pot edge paste, noodle paste, and scallion pancakes," Jane Sampson said, pointing to the spread on the table, "I’m worried you won’t be full, so I also bought you a flower steam bun. The boss taught how to eat it by sandwiching the scallion pancake inside the bun; it’s really delicious!"
While talking excitedly, Jane didn’t grab the pickled vegetable cake but instead picked up a flower steam bun and a slice of scallion pancake to demonstrate to Jas Black how to eat it.
"The boss said that doing this, the bun absorbs the oil from the scallion pancake, making the bun fragrant and the scallion pancake tastier."
While she was speaking, Jane followed the boss’s instructions and made one, then extended her hand holding the food towards Jas Black’s mouth.
"Try it, isn’t it delicious?" Jane looked at Jas expectantly.
Even Jas, who wasn’t particularly hungry before, had started to salivate after Jane’s enthusiastic description.
He could sll the fragrance of the food in her hand before even taking a bite.
Jas adjusted his sitting posture and then leaned forward to bite, guided by Jane’s hand.
However.
The next second, that hand was pulled back.
Jas bit into the air.
Jas was stunned for two seconds before he raised his head to look at Jane standing there, who had pulled back her hand only to take a bite herself, looking like a little fox with her cheeks puffed out, chewing away.
"Mmm, talking about it made hungry." Jane muttered indistinctly, "I’ll taste it for you first."
After swallowing, Jane nodded vigorously and reached out towards Jas again, saying, "I’ve tasted it for you, it really is delicious, now you can eat it with confidence!"
Jas stared at Jane’s expression for two seconds before slowly leaning in to take another bite.
The next second, the food in front of him disappeared again, and Jas wasn’t surprised at all.
"Jane Sampson, are you asking for a cleanup?" Jas asked in a deep voice.
From the mont she first pulled back her hand while eating and laughing ’till her eyes could barely be seen, even though she had a seemingly good excuse, Jas already had his suspicions.
"Now do you understand how annoying you were back then?" Jane grinned with a gleeful expression, holding the food in her hand, "Jas Black oh Jas Black, now you have today too! A woman’s revenge is indeed not too late even after 10 years!"
Jane was referring to that ti when she got injured in the northwest while shooting a film with Director Wilson, and how Jas dealt with her the sa way when she got ho. As Jas was still staring at her, Jane didn’t back down at all.
"Don’t glare at ! It’s useless! And you can’t get mad at ! After all, you’ve been reliant on these days!" Jane shook her head with a villainous triumph, "If you upset , I’ll just ignore you. And if I ignore you, then there won’t be anyone to keep you company."
Jas sat there unmoving, simply staring at Jane.
One second...
Two seconds...
The next second, he suddenly leaned toward Jane and accurately sealed her giggling pink lips on the corner of her mouth with a kiss.
With the kiss set, Jas savored it as if it were a delectable dish, kissing back and forth on her lips and then slowly prying them apart with his tongue.
