Jane Sampson laughed after sending one last emoticon.
Although Jas Black didn’t say anything to cheer her up, just exchanging a few emoticons with him inexplicably lifted Jane Sampson’s spirits.
She missed him.
This was an incredibly clear thought in Jane Sampson’s mind at that mont.
Although they had parted only this morning, at this mont, Jane especially, especially missed Jas Black.
She missed the way he coldly said "in your dreams" and the way he would touch her head while scolding her.
Jane thought that she likely had developed masochistic tendencies.
But once this thought occurred, Jane couldn’t suppress it.
After hesitating for a few minutes, Jane quickly changed her clothes, freshened up, grabbed her car key, and left her house. Once she left, Jane drove with a smile all the way to the guard team’s doorway. As the car stopped at the doorway, and the team mber ca out to inspect, Jane sat in the car with a dumbfounded expression watching the gate entrance.
Only one sentence filled her mind.
Did she just co like this?
What excuse should she give for seeing Jas Black?
She hadn’t told him beforehand about her visit; would Jas Black be upset?
The more Jane thought about it, the more worried she beca, thinking about telling the team mber she had co to the wrong place before he recognized her, so she could quickly drive back ho.
However, contrary to her wishes, before she could even speak, the young team mber suddenly slapped his head and exclaid!
"Look at my pig brain! Sister-in-law! You are our sister-in-law!" the team mber joyfully said, "Sister-in-law, with your mask and hood on, I almost didn’t recognize you. If it weren’t for the familiarity of your car, recalling the last ti you ca to deliver stuff to Peter Gingery, I wouldn’t have recognized you!"
The team mber excitedly chattered lengthily, then imdiately shouted to another teammate, "Our sister-in-law has co to see the Chief! Quickly inform the Chief to let our sister-in-law in! We definitely can’t let our sister-in-law stand out in this hot weather!"
"Hey! No! Please don’t!" Jane admired the mory of this young team mber in front of her — she rarely ca to the guard team, having driven here only once before to deliver so eggs for Peter Gingery. She didn’t expect that this young team mber would rember her car.
And just so coincidentally, it was this team mber’s turn to be on guard duty today again.
But no matter how much Jane objected, the two team mbers had already inford Jas Black.
Just as Jane was hesitating whether to escape before Jas Black appeared, her mobile phone suddenly rang. Looking at it, it was a call from Jas Black.
Jane fumbled for a few seconds before answering with a "hello."
"You’re at the guarding team door?" Because this ssage surprised Jas Black too much, he had specifically made this call to confirm with Jane Sampson.
Although, he had already been heading toward the main gate while making this call.
Jane humd affirmatively, then hurriedly added, "Don’t be mad, okay? If it’s inconvenient, I promise I’ll obediently go ho and wait for you."
"Stay at the door, and don’t go anywhere else!" Perhaps hearing Jane ntion going back, Jas Black, feeling a bit anxious, quickly issued the command and hung up the phone, then sped up his pace toward the door.
