If Jane Sampson really had to toast to the Vice President of Swan Goose Films, would the Vice President even drink it?
He’d barely take Jane to the restaurant, before the fire of the President of Swan Goose Films would co down on him.
Over here, Jane and a few others were discussing the evening’s socializing, but since it had nothing to do with her, Jane didn’t bother to ask out of curiosity.
anwhile, at the primary cara position where filming had just started less than forty minutes ago, the director had already slamd the table for the third ti.
"Director, director, calm down." The director’s assistant, seeing that the director was about to slam the table again, quickly ran over with a glass of water and whispered a reminder, "Director, Amber Edwards is one of the investors, please don’t lash out at her."
"I..." Jas Chip clenched his teeth, "if it wasn’t for the fact that she’s an investor, I would have kicked her out the mont she uttered her first line! What the hell is she even acting?!"
"Her role is the daughter of a minor county official. In this palace, it’s possible that even a palace maid has a higher status than her. According to the script, her character should be weak; what is she trying to do by lifting her head high like an arguntative rooster? Does she want to play the Jade Emperor? I’ve told her ti and again. Has she changed?"
Jas Chip was so angry he was gnashing his teeth, "I think she’s set on ruining this drama!"
"Miss Edwards is not exactly from within the industry. It’s normal for her to not act well at first, right? Just give her so more ti to adjust," the assistant hurriedly tried to calm the director down.
"More ti to adjust? The entire cast and crew are waiting for her to adjust! Since she took the role, couldn’t she have gone to hire a professional teacher to give her so acting lessons before we started filming? Does Amber Edwards lack the money to pay for a teacher? Look at her acting; what kind of ss is that? Who is she performing for?"
The assistant knew that it wasn’t Jas Chip’s fault for losing his temper; Amber Edwards’s acting skills were so bad that they had reached a certain level. Her lines were still being held up on a card for her to see by her assistant.
That by itself would have been tolerable if not for her excessively flirtatious movents. Wherever the cara pointed, her forehead would turn precisely in that direction, as if she were a shy young woman too bashful to show her true face.
"Director, think about it, for money, for money, shouldn’t we endure her a bit longer?" The assistant pleaded with the director while also secretly feeling distressed. Back then, when Amber Edwards wanted the third female role, considering her status as an investor, no one objected at that ti.
Everyone thought that since the third female role wasn’t very significant and was easy to portray, and since Amber Edwards was quite pretty, she should be up to the task.
But when it ca to this point, who could have anticipated that Amber’s acting skills would be so poor.
And who could have guessed, once Amber got the role, that she wouldn’t know how to act and wouldn’t think to find a teacher to get so proper lessons?
"Forget it, I’ll tolerate her for a few more days. If she still gives this attitude, I don’t care if she’s an investor or not, I’ll tell her to get lost!" Jas Chip, infuriated, rolled his eyes and turned to see Jane Sampson, already in makeup, sitting by and waiting. He called her over and said, "Amber Edwards, take a break. Jane, you get ready to shoot your scenes first and finish your part for today."
After speaking, Jas Chip couldn’t help but add, "Amber Edwards, don’t zone out over there. Sit and watch how Jane Sampson acts!"
