After all, the beverages for hundreds of people relied solely on two assistants and one employee who delivered by driving; the car couldn’t enter the film and TV town. Expecting to get all the beverages to the film crew was sheer folly.
So, the entourage that entered was not small at all.
Amber saw the people sitting by, waiting, and so idle film crew mbers all looking over there, feeling incredibly smug.
"It’s so hot this afternoon, I’m treating everyone to iced chrysanthemum tea," Amber stood up and said loudly, "I can’t stand it when so people are so stingy. I also hate to see myself and the people around suffer. In this weather, it’s better to drink sothing cold for comfort. Everyone gets a share, all of you can go get it."
The least reserved were the supporting actors and extras. As soon as Amber said this, they sward over to Amber’s assistants and then complinted Amber, "Miss Edwards is really generous. We won’t be shy then, thank you, Miss Edwards. It’s good luck to be in the sa film crew with you, Miss Edwards. With gifts and beverages after the al, what more could we ask for?"
Coco sat there and simply rolled her eyes.
anwhile, those who were filming were imrsed in their work, unaware of the disturbance here; even Jas Chip didn’t know.
For those who weren’t in their positions, Amber had her two assistants distribute the drinks individually, placing them at their spots. Seeing the few old seniors gathered around Coco, Amber thought of how Jane had personally served them chrysanthemum tea just now, and decided to follow suit.
"Dear teachers, this is the beverage for you, chrysanthemum tea too, iced, to relieve the heat." Amber’s smile was radiant, especially after seeing Coco roll her eyes at her, making her even happier. "Coco, sorry, I saw you and Jane boiling water and making chrysanthemum tea yourselves, so I didn’t prepare it for you. Since you like drinking hot boiled water, drink more of it."
"Thanks for the thought. If you had prepared it, I’d be worried whether there’s poison in it or not. After all, Miss Edwards is soone who can ban people easily. I’d really be scared," Coco retorted sharply, then ignored Amber completely.
Ever since arriving, she has been bragging about being richer than Jane, afraid that people might forget the incident of her trying to snatch Jane’s hairpin with her wealth.
The apology video was still circulating on the internet, and yet she didn’t know to keep a low profile at this ti.
Idiot.
Coco cursed inwardly.
Of course, her facial expressions hardly concealed the curses she was hurling at Amber inwardly.
Amber, provoked by Coco’s words, was fuming mad, but with so many people around, she couldn’t afford to lose her temper at Coco. Actually, inside, she felt the urge to tear Coco apart.
A re assistant acting more arrogant than Jane herself. From the very first mont she saw her this morning, her words were as venomous as poison.
And those old seniors, who had been speaking with Coco, didn’t reach out to accept the drink Amber specifically brought over.
They didn’t stoop to Amber’s level with unkind words, but simply smiled, waved at Amber, and said, "I’m old now, I can’t have cold things. Drinking hot chrysanthemum tea to nurture my health is good enough."
"Right, in our youth, we also loved cold drinks like you, but now we can’t afford such whims. We’ll just stick to drinking the chrysanthemum tea made with boiling water here. You young folks enjoy what you like, drink more for yourselves."
