After the eting, Zhou Yunchen checked his phone. Seeing no calls, he made one himself. It was a while before Shen Congwen picked up.
"Did I leave my wallet in your car?" he asked in an even tone.
Shen Congwen frowned. "Let go check my car."
He hung up. About ten minutes later, he called back. "It’s in my car. Have your secretary co get it!"
Zhou Yunchen made a decision. "Bring it to after work, and while you’re at it, give a ride to that restaurant. My car is there."
Shen Congwen was silent for a mont, then gritted his teeth. "Has President Zhou completely forgotten about our bet from yesterday?"
Zhou Yunchen just chuckled. "Oh, did we?"
Shen Congwen said coolly, "I don’t care if you’re unhappy. My secretary will deliver it to you."
The voice on the other end was low and hoarse. "Giving in so easily?"
Shen Congwen was taken aback.
Zhou Yunchen then said, "Serves you right for being bullied!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Shen Congwen hung up.
Zhou Yunchen still hadn’t received his wallet. After waiting for a few days, he finally called to ask.
The mont he asked, he beca quite furious.
The wallet... had been thrown away.
Shen Congwen stated flatly, "Weren’t you the one who taught this?"

Shen Congwen added, "I didn’t throw away the picture in the wallet. I’ll have my secretary deliver it to you."

After saying this, he still looked sowhat fearful.

Shen Congwen answered, his voice cool. "Did you receive it?"
Zhou Yunchen toyed with the envelope in his hand and chuckled. "To show my gratitude, how about I treat you to dinner?"
"No need." Shen Congwen hung up directly.
Unexpectedly, Zhou Yunchen called right back, shalessly declaring, "You threw away my wallet. I don’t have money for dinner."
Shen Congwen suppressed his anger. "I’ll transfer you the money."
Zhou Yunchen chuckled lowly. "I’m not so pretty boy who’s swayed by a few sweet words."
CLICK. The call was disconnected again.
He looked at his phone. He’s mad again!
With that, he buckled down and finished his work. After his shift, he arranged to have dinner with Gu Anxi.
What he’d said earlier was rely to tease Shen Congwen. Who knew that fool would actually believe him?
Zhou Yunchen’s dinner with Gu Anxi was simply for him to present the account books for her review. An Pu was primarily under his managent, and he reported to her about once a month.
