Gu Anxi smiled. "Would you like to join us for a al?"
Shen Congwen smiled. "No need, you two carry on with your conversation."
Gu Anxi glanced at the girl standing next to him. "Your girlfriend, aren’t you going to introduce her?"
Shen Congwen seed slightly uncomfortable. After a mont, he finally whispered, "Just a friend." Then, as if he didn’t want to chat anymore, he moved to another table.
From start to finish, Zhou Yunchen did not say a word to him or ask any questions. Shen Congwen’s gaze rested on him for a few seconds, but he also said nothing.
After they left, Gu Anxi was delicately eating her food, her small mouth stuffed full. "Weren’t you a little cold? I rember you two were good friends."

Zhou Yunchen said he would drop her off, but Bo Xichen ca to get her, so he ended up sitting alone in his car, smoking.
The car window was open, and he leisurely blew smoke rings, seemingly in no hurry to leave.

Gu Anxi was listening nearby. Old Lin handed his golf club to soone else and turned to her with a smile. "This Infinite is a nasty piece of work, Dark’s top enforcer."
Gu Anxi was speechless.
After a mont, she scratched her head. "What bad things has *she* done, exactly?"
"His very existence is a public threat!" Chen Ming said gravely.
Gu Anxi gave a dry laugh. "Is that so!"
Chen Ming’s expression softened slightly. "He’ll be caught one day."
Gu Anxi was rather speechless.
When they returned to Si Garden, she was a little listless, draping her whole body over Bo Xichen’s back.
"What’s wrong?" Bo Xichen chuckled, asking the girl on his back.
Gu Anxi hugged his neck, looking a bit dejected. "Uncle, are you going to arrest ? So many people want to arrest ."
He chuckled. "Then will you be caught?"
"Of course not," she said with a cute, confident air. "They’re not capable enough."
Bo Xichen smiled faintly, reaching out to pull the little girl from his back to face him. "And what about ? Haven’t I already caught you?"
The little charr nestled against his chest, murmuring very softly, "Uncle is the best!"
He smiled tenderly, gently stroking her hair as if soothing a little kitten.
The little charr was thoroughly enjoying it.
Just as she was basking in the mont, a low, husky voice ca from above, "It’s getting late."
She murmured an "Oh" but didn’t move, her small hand toying with his button.
He chuckled, leaning in and being gentle with her...
The next day, Gu Anxi went to Beicheng University with dark circles under her eyes, only to find Chu Yan was back.
She slung an arm around Chu Yan’s shoulder. "So, you finally decided to co back, huh?"
Chu Yan humd. "Missed you, so I ca back."
Gu Anxi gave her a sidelong glance. "Yeah, right!"
She didn’t believe that for a second!
Chu Yan then launched into a flurry of sweet talk and over-the-top complints before Gu Anxi grudgingly "forgave" her.
At lunchti, the four of them—Gu Anxi, Chu Yan, Wang Qin, and Fang Ming—ate together. After the al, Fang Ming whisked Wang Qin off to the little grove, while Gu Anxi and Chu Yan strolled leisurely behind.
Chu Yan hadn’t been at Beicheng University for this period, so seeing Fang Ming and Wang Qin so close with her own eyes completely astonished her.
Gu Anxi pulled her to sit on a bench and bask in the sun, while Chu Yan kept stealing glances at what the other two were up to.
Gu Anxi coughed lightly. "Hasn’t Chu Ci taught you anything?"
Gu Anxi just smiled and said nothing more. When the ti is right, Chu Ci will confess, naturally.
After they sat in comfortable silence for a while, Gu Anxi said, "I’m doing a voice-over project with Chu Ci in July."
She and Chu Ci were doing the Chinese dubbing, while Disney had invited her uncle for the original English voice-over. Things were indeed going to be very busy.
Hearing this, Chu Yan just said, "Oh."
