Qin Anxi sat down and glanced at her, "Your little sches are totally transparent."

Gu Mingzhu pouted and stayed silent.

After a while, Qin Anxi prepared to leave, and Gu Mingzhu was surprised, "Leaving already?"

The fruit tea was only half-finished.

Qin Anxi smiled faintly, "Just ca to see if you’re doing well. Knowing you are, I can be at ease."

She spoke so unemotionally that Gu Mingzhu was taken aback. She wanted to say sothing but held back, and after a while, said in a raspy voice, "I know you don’t like ."

"Yeah, so you better find a good man to marry," Qin Anxi said bluntly.

Gu Mingzhu was so aggrieved she was about to cry, but she dared not, afraid it would make Qin Anxi dislike her more.

Seeing her like that, Qin Anxi was both amused and annoyed, so she gave a light cough, "Okay, I’m off."

Gu Mingzhu looked at her eagerly, then ended up following to the car...

"What is it now, princess?" Qin Anxi said, sitting in the car, looking at her.

Gu Mingzhu, sowhat shy, "When are you coming to see again?"

"Probably in winter," Qin Anxi said, smiling.

Gu Mingzhu was so angry her eyes welled up with tears, "I’m serious."

Qin Anxi looked at her eyes carefully, then laughed, "Don’t cry, or others might think I’m bullying you."

Gu Mingzhu lowered her head and said nothing.

Qin Anxi looked at her, and suddenly felt soft-hearted.

The girl in front of her probably felt just like she used to—a sense of being alone, without reliable family...

So, she softly said, "Co here."

Gu Mingzhu looked up, sowhat surprised, but obediently went over.

As soon as she ca over, Qin Anxi tapped her on the head, "Silly."

After speaking, she smiled, put on sunglasses and opened the car door beside her, "Aren’t you getting in? I’ll take you for a ride."

Gu Mingzhu’s eyes widened, and she quickly ran over to get in the car, as if afraid Qin Anxi might change her mind.

At that mont, Auntie ca over, "Is Miss Mingzhu going out?"

Qin Anxi smiled slightly, "I’ll take her out for a while and then bring her back."

"That’s great, little kids should be close and loving," Auntie said with a smile, stepping back a few steps.

Qin Anxi started the car and slowly drove away from the villa.

Once the car was out, Gu Mingzhu beca a bit excited, "Where are we going?"

"Just around," Qin Anxi said, gripping the steering wheel, "Buckle up the seatbelt, dummy."

Gu Mingzhu looked down and indeed hadn’t fastened it, while fastening it, muttering under her breath, "I’m not a dummy."

"That’s what Qin Siyuan said, you should go find him," Qin Anxi said confidently, then suddenly suggested, "How about we go to the amusent park? We’ll eat afterward at night."

Gu Mingzhu was surprised, "But the amusent park... Mom said that’s for wild kids."

"She’s dead and you still take her words as gospel?" Qin Anxi said unapologetically.

Gu Mingzhu went silent, and after a long ti said, "You shouldn’t speak about Mom like that."

Qin Anxi made a funny face, "Alright, alright, I won’t ntion her."

Stopped at a red light, she leaned on the steering wheel, rubbed her chin, "Have you decided, going or not?"

Gu Mingzhu said proudly, "I... I know you want to go, so I’ll pity you and go with you."

With the green light, Qin Anxi gave a light chuckle, "When I was little, I went to the amusent park every week!"

Suddenly, Gu Mingzhu felt a tinge of envy...
