Within an expansive cavern, torches lined the walls casting the interior in an ominous glow, the mana in the air was so thick it could be seen, but the mana was also wrong, corrupted, twisted, an ominous crimson mana fog, twisting as if alive, and within this fog, rested...sothing...
As the explosions of an uncountable number of goblins rocked and shook the entire cavern...
That sothing, woke up..
Crimson pupils showing pure carnage and violence, then it roared, a sound so wrong it shook the entirety of the dungeon itself, waves of horrifying power erupting from its form...

Farther away from where Dante had just committed mass genocide, a party of three could be seen, two n and a young woman..
The n looked to be guards, the lady looking like soone from a prominent family, having co to test herself.
Their current appearances suggesting they’d had their own fare share of "fun".
"Damn it. Just my luck my first dungeon and it mutates, you two are useless.."
The young lady cursed, chest heaving in exasperation as she stared at her supposed guards, those tasked with carrying her through the dungeon,
"Young lady, please calm your anger, those goblins were more powerful than their counterparts, we’re lucky sothing happened and they just exploded, otherwise.."
One of the n spoke, he looked to be in his Middle Ages, the aura of an E-rank warrior evident..
For soone his age to still be an E-rank warrior, it was clear his talent was rather diocre..
"Useless, that’s what you are, if it wasn’t for that freak accident, this young lady might have lost her life" the young woman spat, looking at the two n with disdain.
"This.."
Before any of them could even defend themselves..

A thunderous roar rang throughout the entire dungeon, shaking them to their very foundations,their faces paled, blood dripping from all their orifices as they collapsed unconscious, their life or death, unknown..
It wasn’t just this group, the entirety of the dungeon, as that horrifying roar sounded out, people collapsed left and right, orifices bleeding profusely...

I was still getting down from the high of what I’d just done, my energy reserves filling up steadily, my ntal energy recovering, clearly, Chaotic Adaptation was doing its job..
"Now how.."
I couldn’t complete that statent...

The sound hit , HARD...

I was blasted backwards over what could’ve easily been 50 ters, my ears ringing, nose bleeding, my entire body trembling...
I slowly peeled myself from the tree I’d gotten intimately familiar with, my ability fixing whatever was broken by THAT...

[MAJOR THREAT DETECTED!!]
[DUNGEON MANA SPIKING!!!!]
The system’s prompt made my expression grim...
"That....was different"...
The aura currently perating the entire dungeon felt ABSOLUTE...
It felt like my last attack woke up sothing that should’ve been left asleep...
"Well, I wanted a fight, guess I’m getting that and more" a crooked grin appeared on my face..
I wouldn’t deceive myself and say I wasn’t nervous..
Whatever that thing was, it had sent flying from miles always with nothing but a shout..
"Yea, things are about to get freaky"
But before facing whatever the hell that was, I decided to check out the system notifications first, now back to my peak, it was ti to see what I got..

It felt surreal, I’d gone from a level 1 F-rank noob, to Peak F-rank warrior, in less than 2hours..
Sothing that took an average man a significant amount of ti, accomplished in less than 2 hours, that too only because I’m still getting the hang of my abilities..
If I had used the technique I just used the mont I stepped into this dungeon, I’d have reached level 25 in seconds...
"Damn, this is just too much"..
Even I myself was finding it difficult to believe...
But it wasn’t over, no! Not even close...

Those numbers were insane, no wonder those with stupidly broken talents made leveling up look like child’s play..
Just one [MUTATED] E-rank dungeon, and I’d already breezed through the F-Rank..
I was sure, once I got my hands on a Rank-Up Crystal, the stored experience points would be enough to blast straight through the E-rank...
"Fwooo~~~okay, Dante, one step at a ti"...
Although I was bumd out about the fact that I missed out on what was probably an obscene amount of raw stats, the experience points more than made up for it, besides,
"I’m not so lacking in the stats departnt for now". I muttered, trying to convince myself I wasn’t internally pissed off about it..
"Now, let’s go et our dear host, can’t let whatever it is wait for long after such an invitation"...

I was currently standing before the entrance of what was obviously the boss’s lair, and.
"Fucking hell, just what the fuck did I stumble upon?"..
The pure nace pouring out of the entrance sent chills down my spine, my body tingled with unmistakable danger, my hairs stood on end..
The ominous crimson fog that to my horror, my system identified as corrupted mana, was actively trying to poison my body, fortunately..
[Chaotic Adaptation activated....]
My trait wasn’t having it, but even with that, I could still feel the whole wrongness of the situation...
"Well no use standing out here , might as well go see what’s waiting inside.." saying so, I stepped forward...

I arrived swiftly at what looked like a throne room..
If throne rooms had piles of bones littering the floor in macabre fashion, skulls being used as torch holders, and a sick looking throne made out of what I identified to be bones from creatures my mind wasn’t ready to start thinking about..
And right there, surrounded by a thick crimson fog of mana, Red piercing eyes stared straight at , almost through , the raw nace from just that stare sent my whole body on alert, but it wasn’t until IT spoke that I truly realized how horrible my situation was..
"Welco human, to my humble abode"..
A twisted sonorous voice sounded out...
[Warning]
[Entity exceeds dungeon classification...]
"Well... Fuck..."

A/N: we’ve got Dante’s first big boss fight, I know our boy is loaded but I’m not so sure this fight will be as easy as his other fights...
