The place suddenly turned quiet as everyone’s focus shifted toward the black robed youth that had just spoken, yet before I could even begin questioning him,
"So it’s you huh? I guess I’ll be completing my mission twice over, hehehe..." a feminine voice sounded out, as I found myself turning from black robes, focus shifting to the newest entrant.
It was a woman with grey hair, dull amber eyes, wearing the academy’s uniform but hers had a golden accent..
"Supre sanctum?" I couldn’t help raising an eyebrow at that.
"Heh! What? Scared?" She asked with a mocking sneer.
"Not really, just surprised such a big fish was coming after is all.." I shook my head, ready to ignore her when,
"Dante? That na, it sounds familiar.."
"Do you by any chance know a young lady called Cara Morningstar?" The voice stopped dead in my tracks..
"Liana Morningstar, what are you doing?" The grey haired woman’s voice piped up, discontent evident.
"Heh! Cassandra, I don’t think I have any need to explain myself to a needy Elowyn whore do I?" The voice from earlier retorted..
"Bitch!! What did you say??"
"Morningstar?"
My ears perked up at the na, as I turned, eyes focusing on the black haired woman that had just spoken.
"You, what’s your relationship with Cara?" I interrupted the grey haired annoyance unceremoniously, a curious expression on my face..
"So, it really is you huh? No wonder that girl couldn’t shut up after she was brought back, I get the hype now.. hehehe.." she laughed, "I’m Liana Morningstar, I’m sowhat of an acquaintance to Cara." Before introducing herself..
"Oh, I see, it’s nice to et you then..." I smiled, nodding gently before shifting my attention to the grey haired annoyance...
"Now, I heard Elowyn, you’re from the Elowyn ancient family?"
"Heh! What? Scared now that you know who I truly am?" She sneered.
"Once again, no, the likes of you could never make feel the sensation of fear." I shook my head slowly, "I’m rely curious what relationship you have with Mimi."
The lady’s face contorted in sheer disgust and rage at the ntion of that na.
"Don’t you dare mix my na in with that wretched woman." She spat.
"Oh, good." I smiled..
"What’s good?"
"Nothing much, I was just worried earlier that I’d have to go and explain to Mira why I had to rip her friend’s head off her shoulders, but since you seem very antagonistic to each other, then I’m glad I have no such qualms" I replied cheerfully..
"So you were going to kill her even if she was your woman’s friend?" Leo’s dumbfounded voice sounded out..
"First of all, mira isn’t my woman, and secondly, yes, of course I would, I can feel her killing intent, nobody releases killing intent against and goes free." My eyes flashed coldly as I finally focused back on the first interruption...
"Now, you, mind explaining who this dragon son is?" It was the only thing I needed to know.
The title sounded like sothing a dragon should be bearing and I’ve yet to offend the dragons, so I needed to know who.
But imagine my surprise or lack there of when I heard, "hehehe... allow to introduce myself properly, I am Isaiah Von Draken, the dragon’s shadow."
"Darius..." my eyes narrowed..
"It seems you’re smart after all.."
Of course it had to be him.
I had been wagging my tail around too comfortably for too long, it already felt weird that he hadn’t co after since then, but now, seeing this black robed guy that was releasing pressure heavy enough to suffocate the environnt, sothing that dwarfed anything that Goat headed demon could have tried to release, I knew my ti had finally co.
But then again, so what?
It was already too late.
Far too late for Darius’ sches to matter..
"Haa... I should’ve known." I sighed.
"Worry not, he asked to make your death swift, you should be grateful." The youth smiled.
"Heh. Offending soone on the heaven’s list and expecting to go scot free, how delusional." The grey haired whore just had to chi in.
"Heh! Clowns." Leo’s derisive chuckle suddenly broke the atmosphere as the two fools turned their gazes toward him.
I had been expecting their reactions to be typical, a cold scoff, mocking words, threats, anything, but what I got instead was..
"You!! How.. why.. wha.."
"Impossible!! How can you be here??"
Fear.
Their faces paled instantly the mont their eyes landed atop my head, their bodies quivering like they’d been left in the middle of a freezing storm...
"Heh! Why can’t I be here? If all you clowns had suddenly appeared within this little inheritance run, why can’t I be here?" The chicken cat chuckled, and I could see the life draining from the souls of the three academy students, even Liana, the one I had no hostile intent towards, had paled and was trembling.
They recognized the chicken-cat, and it wasn’t only them.
The suit wearing monkey and the black haired youth beside him had gone deathly pale after seemingly recognizing Leo too.
They all did.
"Hey, chicken-shit, they all seem very afraid for so reason."
"Heh, of course they are, you would too if I told you why."
"You can be the son of the heavenly emperor for all I care, but so long as you remain a chicken-cat at your core? You’ll always be a feather brain clown." I shrugged..
"Damn your mother Dante!! I dare you to say that again.."
"In ti, but first, let get rid of the trash."
Fwooosh!!
My wings appeared.
Were they necessary?
No.
Did they still make look cool as hell?
Absolutely.
"Malachi!" I called out, taking to the sky gently..
"Hmm?" The transford monkey grunted as he looked up, red eyes eting golden ones.
"Do the monkeys die too?" A simple question.
"Only by my own hands." A simple reply.
"As you wish."
Our conversation snapped the stunned and scared group from their shocked states.
"Hey!!!! We didn’t know you were acquainted with him, we can forget this ever happened, what do you say!!!?" The smiling youth yelled, desperation coloring his voice..
"You co here, release your killing intent against , act all high and mighty, then expect to wave it all off because you asked?" My voice resounded from the skies as dark clouds gathered, the atmosphere reacting to my mounting killing it.
"You all perish here today, your fate was decided the mont you ntioned who sent you."
CRACKLE.....
Both the youth and the grey haired woman turned grim, determination flashing in their eyes.
It would seem their fears had crystallized into sothing else, as "don’t think we’ll just stand here and wait for our deaths, we might fear him, but you? Heh..." the youth laughed derisively...
"Idiots.." Leo shook his head in mock pity..
I smiled.
There was no need wasting words on corpses.
"Zero distance Strike..." I muttered quietly as I threw a punch at empty air..
BOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!!
The black robed youth instantly went flying like a kite with its strings cut.
"Haaa... satisfying.." the itch was finally gone the mont I felt his jaw cracking around my fist.
"Now, to clear this rabble up.."
"Let’s make space for the king, shall we?" I grinned, before whispering in the wind...
"Tiless Series...."
And the world, once again, Froze.
