"Things have never been about having more; it’s the ones that require a fight that are the best!"

After hearing Jiang Yu’s words, Teacher Xiong’s eyes lit up imdiately. He pondered over this sentence, feeling more flavors the more he mulled over it. Unable to contain his admiration, he clapped his hands and praised,

"Xiaojiang, you boy, haven’t seen you for three days, and you really impress us with new insights. This line is quite insightful!"

Upon hearing this, Jiang Yu quickly waved his hand and said, "Teacher Xiong, don’t flatter . I didn’t co up with this. I saw it online."

But today, Teacher Xiong was determined to comnd Jiang Yu: "The fact that you could use it at the right mont makes it yours."

Jiang Yu: "..."

Alright then, whatever you say.

"This thod is great!"

Teacher Xiong and Jiang Yu were still chatting about sothing on the side. Hearing Jiang Yu’s words, Fan Chuliang inexplicably fell into deep thought. Until now, he snapped back to reality, and with an excited expression, he said,

"According to what Xiaojiang suggested, once we restrict outsiders from entering the campus, these people will surely think of every possible way to sneak into the school just to taste the food from the Seventh Dining Hall.

As a result, the reputation of the Seventh Dining Hall will spread even wider, and it will continue to be a topic of discussion.

Plus, with the daily reservations our school is implenting, it will only incite more people to scramble. By that ti, it’s not even important if they are students or parents. What we’re after is this level of discussion, to continuously boost the school’s reputation.

Just like Xiaojiang said, more is not necessarily better, much like the Seventh Dining Hall. If anyone could easily co in for a taste anyti, people would get used to it, and even the most delicious als would beco ordinary.

But if we impose such restrictions, everyone would hear its reputation without knowing its taste, making them yearn for it, rushing to try a bite.

At that ti, they won’t just be tasting the delicious food of the Seventh Dining Hall; it becos a scarce resource, providing imnse psychological satisfaction and pride.

Just think about it, would our school still need to worry about lacking attention?"

At this point, Fan Chuliang took a deep breath, turned to Jiang Yu, and with an eager look, said,

"This idea certainly has great feasibility. It can not only solve the security issues caused by the influx of outsiders but also slightly appease students’ grievances.

Xiaojiang, I really have to thank you. You’ve helped a lot this ti!"

Upon hearing this, Jiang Yu repeatedly waved his hand and said, "No, no, Minister Fan, you’re too kind. My ideas are far less coherent than what you’ve just laid out."

"Alright then, I won’t disturb you today. I must quickly go back and jot down these thoughts, and report to the principal later so we can implent this asure as soon as possible."

With that, Fan Chuliang, disregarding Teacher Xiong, left in a hurry, turning away and leaving him behind.

Teacher Xiong: "..."

Hey, we ca here together!

But rembering that Fan Chuliang had already had lunch, while he hadn’t, he suddenly felt relieved. Oh well, it’s better this way, I might as well have a good al first.

Just as he was contemplating this, Jiang Yu, who hadn’t left yet, suddenly invited:

"Teacher Xiong, you haven’t had lunch yet, right? We were just about to start eating. If you don’t mind the ss in the kitchen, why not join us for a bite?"

"Ah, is this really okay?" Teacher Xiong hesitated with a struggling expression.

"What’s not okay about it?" Jiang Yu smiled and said, "You know most of the people in the kitchen."

"Well, alright then, I’ll take you up on the offer."

Teacher Xiong, feeling elated inside, followed Jiang Yu into the kitchen, curious about what these chefs eat themselves, probably not what’s in those big pots outside, right?

...

In an office at Jiangzhou High-Tech Venture Park.

After several all-nighters, Duan Yiming, though having a headache and bloodshot eyes, was still energetic and appeared quite exhilarated.

The software developnt project the company took over recently was finally completed ahead of schedule, thanks to his and his colleagues’ efforts.

In his view, making money was secondary. The main joy ca from each successful technical breakthrough, akin to winning a battle, and he relished this thrill of solving problems.

Sitting back in his chair for a rest, Duan Yiming felt like he had forgotten sothing but couldn’t recall it, so he grabbed the phone on his desk and called Deng Linhui.

The phone had barely rung twice when it was picked up, and Deng Linhui’s familiar light laughter ca from the other end:

"Hey, it’s Lao Duan?

A few days ago, I went to find you at your place, planning to invite you to eat at Jiang University’s dining hall, only to have that pretty receptionist at your office tell you’ve locked yourself and a few colleagues in the office for days, so I didn’t want to disturb you.

So now, calling , have you finally erged from your self-imposed isolation or what?"

"What erging or not, these past few days were indeed busy, finally taking a break now."

Duan Yiming chuckled, and upon hearing Deng Linhui’s words, he finally rembered what he’d forgotten—it was Boss Xiao Jiang’s Seventh Dining Hall.

Being stuck at the company these days, he and a few colleagues had been living off takeout. Not only did it taste bad, but it was also excessively greasy, almost making him sick.

Now, having so free ti, naturally, he wanted to go to the Seventh Dining Hall for a good al to pamper his stomach. Thinking of this, he quickly said,

"Lao Deng, it’s almost noon now. Are you busy? If not, how about we go to Boss Xiao Jiang’s place for a good al? I haven’t been there for a few days and I’m craving it!"

"Hahaha! I knew it. When you call , it’s either this or nothing else."

Deng Linhui burst into laughter and said,

"Wait for , I’ll drive over to pick you up. I’ll also give that kid He Xiaowei a call, so he doesn’t complain again that we never invite him for als."

"Alright, it’s settled then!"

After hanging up, Duan Yiming caught a whiff of his own sweaty sll and felt like he was starting to stink.

In this hot weather, he hadn’t changed clothes for days. How could it possibly sll nice?

After so thought, he quickly dashed to the bathroom for a shower, then put on a clean set of clothes.

For soone like him, who has to stay up late working overti every few days, spare clothes are standard company supplies.

He grabbed his phone from the office, and as he was heading down the stairs, he saw Deng Linhui’s car slowly pulling up.

He rushed over in three steps, opened the passenger door, and plopped into the seat. Then he turned to look back and curiously asked,

"Where’s that kid He Xiaowei? Why isn’t he here?"

"That kid’s in downtown. He told us to go ahead, and that he’d drive over himself to et us at the Seventh Dining Hall."

Deng Linhui, while driving out of the business park, glanced at Duan Yiming and laughed,

"Oh, did you just take a shower? Are you planning to see so junior girls?"

"What junior girls? The junior girls I know are already soone’s bride."

Duan Yiming sighed, pretending to be desolate, shook his head,

"The one I longed for is now with soone else, who should I pour this heart to now?"

"Stop, stop!"

Deng Linhui quickly interrupted, looking at Duan Yiming strangely, and said,

"You’re a playboy pretending to be an innocent young man, aren’t you a bit too cheesy?"

"What do you know, you insensitive fool? All that hard-earned money of your dad is just wasted on you!"

Laughing and joking, they soon arrived at the entrance of Jiangzhou University.

However, it seed sothing was happening at the entrance of Jiangzhou University. A dozen cars were stuck there, unable to get in. There were all kinds of license plates, with no idea where they all gathered from.

Seeing the pile-up of cars at the school gate, Duan Yiming couldn’t help but feel curious,

"What’s going on?"

"I don’t know, I haven’t been here for two days either."

As Deng Linhui parked the car by the curb, he said, "Maybe sothing happened up ahead. Let’s wait and see."

"I’d better go check it out."

As Duan Yiming said this, he swiftly unclipped his seatbelt and hopped out of the car.

After a short while, he ca back, and seeing Deng Linhui, he shook his head in resignation and said,

"It’s over. The school has tightened the control of entry and exit for outsiders. You need a student or teacher to escort you in. If you don’t know anyone in the school, you’re not getting in.

When I went over, the drivers were arguing with the security staff!"

"When did this start? I just went to the Seventh Dining Hall for a al a couple of days ago."

Deng Linhui was also surprised, glanced outside, and sneered,

"Those people are probably trying to get into the Seventh Dining Hall for food as well. They’re fools, arguing with the security on their turf as if winning an argunt would get them in."

"I asked. The notice was just issued in the past couple of days."

Looking at the familiar campus, Duan Yiming said with a schadenfreude smirk,

"I guess too many outsiders were going to the Seventh Dining Hall for food, leaving the students with nothing to eat. So, the school restricted entry.

The school should have done this long ago. The dining hall is ant to serve the students, not for outsiders to co over and get a cheap al."

"Whose side are you on?"

Deng Linhui rolled his eyes at him and said, not too kindly, "Even though this is your alma mater, you’re also considered an outsider now. You talk like you can just waltz in."

"..."

Duan Yiming was speechless.

Yeah, how did I forget I’ve already graduated? Damn it, I’ve beco one of those outsiders barred from entry!
