......

Soule was one of the Maverick Gods contracted by the Black Market for this operation. He was also quite known for his unique style of fighting as an Archer.

He was a renowned rcenary and one of the most famous within the circle. He was dubbed the Master Archer in the previous gas before he cented his title as the Spiritual Ranger.

His race was the special Transcendent Being of the Elven Race, the Hurricane Elves. It was a special variant of elves, which harnessed the elental powers of the wind along with a special constitution that controlled them.

It was said that the Hurricane Elves barely able to reach the criteria of being a Transcendent Being, especially when the other counterparts within the Elven Race were much powerful than them such as the Ancient Elves, who could control all elents, the Underworld Elves, who were capable of being he ruler of the shadows and darkness, and the Abyss Elves, who were the wanderers of the abyss.

Hurricane Elves were supposed to be walking similar paths as the Underworld Elves, who focused on mastering a singular elent.

They were also very agile and extrely fast, reaching the pinnacle of the Elven Race when it ca to speed.

However, their speed and ability to command the wind were not unique.

The wind abilities were much weaker than those of Ancient Elves, who were not only capable of gaining absolute control over the elents but also possessed a special ability to control the weather itself once they reached a certain level.

Their speed was also unable to match the Abyss Elves and Underworld Elves, who possessed their respective ans to further enhance their powers through multiple ans.

Abyss Elves could even create elental clones, who seed to be alive, while Underworld Elves possessed the ability to communicate with the Dark Side of the World Tree and harness the power that it provides.

Hurricane Elves were barely able to reach the requirents of being a Transcendent Being, but they were still a Transcendent Race, nevertheless.

Elves’ natural ability to wield elental magic, high dexterity, and extre agility were the main weapons that Elven Archers took pride in.

Even the unique elven classes, such as Forest Guardians and Arch Rangers, which were the Epic Classes of the elven line, highly relied on these abilities.

These were also the abilities that Soule used to make his na resound throughout the virtual world.

Alongside the unique Magic Archery of the elves, Soule was able to create a lot of unique strategies and techniques within the ga.

Moreover, he also possessed two powerful Elental Spirits, which were the main reason why he had beco what he was today.

However, despite his reputation and notorious powers, he was currently being a bit helpless against his current opponent.

Roar! Roar!

Boom!

Soule continued to run away while also firing a series of powerful shots towards the blazing skeletons that were chasing after him. He was blasting them with his powerful shots, which were greatly enhanced by his wind elental powers.

He was showcasing his great skills when kiting his enemies.

However, his current opponent was soone who seed to be very familiar with dealing with archer classes.

Chaotic Luck had fought quite a few master archers throughout his career as a professional player, particularly highly skilled ones when he participated in the United Cup alongside the Empyrean Talons.

He beca accustod to fighting such opponents, which unknowingly made them his favorite opponents to deal with.

He beca too familiar with their styles and abilities, making him a sowhat experienced expert when it ca to dealing with such opponents.

Chaotic Luck learned how to control the battlefield when against them, while also forcing them into a corner.

Along with the buffs that he had gotten recently, he looked like an absolute expert when catching opponents with such nimble classes despite their strong firepower.

However, he did not beco too complacent about the current situation, especially when he knew that his opponent belonged to top-notch or even apex experts of the ga.

He kept his guard up despite having an absolute advantage in this battle.

...

Watching this scene from their platform, Arthur could not help clicking his tongue. "Tsk! Tsk! I guess this kid has truly learned quite a lot from all those tortures, huh?"

"He even learned how to control the tempo of the battle now, while also keeping a close eye on possible accidents," he could not deny that he was sowhat impressed at the pace of growth that Chaotic Luck was showing them recently.

Hearing his complints, Riko, who was focusing on the forces that Chaotic Luck controlled, could not help but ask. "You say all of that, but don’t you think that his forces are a bit too scattered?"

"It feels like they have been organized a bit randomly," she added.

Aoki noticed this as well, but he did not give any comnt since he could also feel a bit of strangeness about these formations that seed to be way too disorganized to be called battle formations.

Arthur only chuckled when he heard this and answered. "Don’t put too much thought into it, Senior. The strategies that this kid is using co from soone with a devious mind."

"They may look like abstract art on the surface, but they do have specific reasons for having such scattered formations."

He then paused for a mont before adding. "Moreover, this kid can be a bit unpredictable at tis due to his whimsical decisions. However, those things that he has decided work out fine through sheer luck or sothing."

"They have even worked out to his favor every ti, so I can’t say anything about his line of thinking. Regardless, so long as it is effective, he doesn’t have to change anything about it."

Taking another pause, Arthur thought of sothing before continuing. "However, that is not the real reason why I am impressed with him right now."

"Instead, it is this ’uncertainty’ that I am feeling from him that makes a bit intrigued," pursing his lips, he could not help but add. "It is as if he is sowhat different from what I rember."

"I can’t exactly put my finger on it, but I feel that it is sothing quite important," he raised his brows before mumbling to himself. "I’ll ask him later what exactly happened to him."

...

Back on the battlefield, Soule was trying his best to find a good opening to break free from the encirclent that his opponent had set up while also looking for a good opening that he could use to snipe down Chaotic Luck in the distance.

It was a pity that the battlefield chosen for this trial was an open area, which greatly limited his abilities. If it were a forest, then he would have more options to move around while taking advantage of the terrain and his racial affinity toward nature.

However, having an open field was not that bad for him either. After all, he could also fire as much as he wanted, without worrying much about any obstacles that could block his line of sight.

He could even snipe Chaotic Luck from any distance so long as he had a clear sight of him.

Unfortunately, Chaotic Luck also understood this principle, which was why he was constantly adjusting the formation of his legion and arranging them in areas where they could block his opponents’ vision.

It was because of this that the battle formation looked too scattered on the surface.

He also kept the Hell Pilgrim to his side as an extra precaution since it could block any attempt of sniping him down from a distance.

Roar! Roar!

Chaotic Luck increased the number of his troops attacking Soule and put a lot of pressure on the latter through the relentless attacks of his legion.

Moreover, he was starting to utilize more types of undead creatures under his command, such as the Blazing Skeletal Apes and the Blazing Flying Skeletons.

They started swarming at Soule from every direction, even ambushing him from the most unexpected angles.

Swoosh! Swoosh!

Boom!

Soule never stopped moving, not daring to stay in a single spot, where he could be trapped more easily. He was also firing nonstop, taking down multiple undead creatures with powerful shots that were infused with his elental attributes.

However, those powerful arrows seed to be unable to stop the charging legion completely. They were only able to slow down the enclosure of their formation at most before quickly recovering imdiately after.

Soule also realized that the battle formation of the opposing side was slowly converging. Their originally scattered forces were slowly moving, leaving little signs for other people to notice.

Soule, who was directly fighting on the battlefield, imdiately noticed these small changes, especially when the atmosphere throughout the field imdiately changed.

It was as if the looming death was slowly engulfing the battlefield.

"Tsk! I am not planning to use this until my match against those guys for the underground arena," Soule clicked his tongue after realizing his current predicant. "I guess I don’t have a choice now."

Glancing at the two specks of light dancing around him, Soule pursed his lips before mumbling. "Spring, Autumn, co forth!"
