......

"Spring, Autumn, co forth!"

The mont Soule called those nas, the pair of specks of light dancing around him suddenly flew behind him and took their original forms.

Both were Wind Spirits with different forms.

One of them had a humanoid form, which seed to be a woman with a gorgeous dress made of wind. She seed to possess a gentle and warm personality, which was like the breeze of spring.

The other was a huge sparrow, which seed to have a cold yet refreshing air surrounding it. It was like an autumn wind, which signified the arrival of fall and the approaching winter.

The two Elental Spirits briefly manifested behind Soule before swiftly fusing with him.

Spring first fused with his bow while Autumn, who was in Sparrow form, fused with the mantle hanging over his shoulders and turned it into a pair of wings.

Swoosh! Swoosh!

Everyone might not be able to see what was happening to Soule clearly. But since they were all Transcendent Beings, they were very familiar with the entire process.

"Elental Spirit Possession."

It was a unique ability that a Transcendent Being was supposed to have. It just changed due to the most recent update of the ga.

However, Transcendent Beings were capable of forming contracts with multiple Elental Spirits, while the others were only able to form with one.

These experts with Transcendent Races and Classes knew that each person had their unique way of fusing with their respective Elental Spirits. But at the sa ti, they could also categorize these possessions into three to four different categories.

The first and the most common one was the Elental Possession that let the Elental Spirits to possess the bodies of their masters, giving them their unique abilities.

The second thod was a way for the Elental Spirits to fuse with objects such as their weapons and equipnts.

Then there was the thod of transforming these Elental Spirits into weapons to match their classes and fighting styles.

There were also special thods that did not follow these styles, just like Charlotte’s (Alice) way of possession, which was fusing her Elental Spirits with her magic.

Based on what they were seeing, it seed like Soule’s style of possession followed the second category, which involved letting his Elental Spirits fuse with his bow and mantle.

Roar! Roar! Roar! Roar!

While Soule was undergoing his Elental Spirit Possession, four Skeletal Apes with blazing bodies suddenly pounced at him.

They were coming from different directions, flanking him with their coordinated attacks.

Twang!

However, before they could even reach their target, a loud sound of a string suddenly reverberated in the air, followed by gusts of wind.

Swoosh! Swoosh!

Boom!

This was then followed by a series of explosions that blasted the for blazing skeletal beasts.

Two of them were blasted into smithereens by the powerful gust of wind accompanying those mana-enhanced arrows, while the other two were sent flying away with broken arms after attempting to block the arrows shot at them.

Swoosh! Swoosh!

Right at the sa ti, the blazing skeleton soldiers swiftly approached and started swarming Soule with their relentless and coordinated attacks.

Boom! Boom!

However, just like the four blazing skeletal beasts, all of them were annihilated by the strong hurricanes and powerful cyclones produced by each arrow Soule released.

A huge gap in the formation was even revealed due to these powerful shots, which Soule used to break free and fly into the air with the help of his elental wings.

Swoosh!

He was about to gain a good vantage point due to this situation when a volley of arrows flew straight in his direction.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Using the unique powers of the Hurricane Elve, Soule controlled the wind to form a strong gust that blocked most of the arrows and prevented them from reaching him.

The few that managed to break through this wind barrier were not a threat to him, which he could easily dodge through his skillful aerial maneuvers. It was clear that he was not new to this kind of battle, especially when he was alone fighting an entire undead army.

Twang!

He started firing back, pouring a rain of arrows toward the opposing side.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Boom!

These arrows were not your regular arrows, either, since they were like hurricanes that destroyed the battle formation of the undead army right after coming in contact with them or the ground itself.

The explosions created violent hurricanes that wreak havoc in the ranks of his opponents, giving him enough space to find an opportunity to target Chaotic Luck.

Unfortunately, Chaotic Luck seed to be quite experienced with such situations and already found a way to deal with them.

Instead of ordering his skeleton mages to attack Soule, who was currently in the air, he commanded them to gather as a single unit while also focusing on forming a powerful barrier made of magic.

This barrier beca the great wall that blocked all the incoming hurricane arrows fired by his opponent.

With the united magic of these skeleton mages, despite them being weak individually, their combined powers were still sothing that could not be overlooked by anyone.

However, despite having such a powerful barrier through the help of skeleton mages, everyone here understood the fact that they were nothing but re summoned creatures.

Everyone here were experts in their own right, possessing their fair share of experiences when fighting against an army or an individual controlling an army by themselves.

No matter how powerful these summoned creatures were, their source of power was mostly from their master or the summoner themselves.

Regardless of the might of such an army, so long as their summoner was defeated, everything would be solved instantly.

Soule’s current situation might be hard to solve due to how the Legion of Chaotic Sun was organized. However, he knew that so long as he continued bombarding the army with large-scale attacks and constantly annihilated a huge portion of the army, the opposing side would lose an equal amount of mana to replenish the size of his army.

In a sense, this would beco a battle of attrition.

Even though it would hurt his pride as an expert, Soule understood that his current situation had no other ideal solution than the one he could take to find the path to victory.

This was mostly because of the restriction that his class had.

Summoners and Necromancers were known for having an army of their own, which was also where their main style of fighting ca from.

One of the sharpest weapons that they used during battles were sheer number of their troops, while the other was the quality of their ’soldiers’.

Of course, all classes were strong, but they also have their respective weaknesses and counters.

For these two classes, their ’weapons’, or rather strength, could also beco their weaknesses.

Each summoned creature consud mana and needed more to sustain its existence on the battlefield. Others required their master’s help to supply them with more mana for executing more powerful spells or skills.

So of the more advanced ones could have an independent system that was cut from their masters. But once they were dead, the summoners needed so ti before they could be summoned once again.

With this line of thought, Soule was also preparing to take down Chaotic Luck by using the standard strategy against such opponents.

Given that Chaotic Luck’s Legion of Chaotic Sun was much larger than regular undead armies, Soule believed that the mana consumption that the latter had would be much more overwhelming compared to others.

This was also the reason why most of the summoners and necromancers never started with summoning a large number of their army when fighting, especially when they were in a duel against an equally strong expert.

It would be a rookie mistake to do such a thing, especially when fighting strong experts with equal strength or even stronger.

Even Immortal would not imdiately summon a large portion of his army when fighting Godlike Players like him. He would start summoning a small elite unit, along with a highly advanced undead at the very least.

However, this opponent before him felt a bit too different. It was as if he was not afraid of losing any manner despite most of his army being constantly annihilated.

He was just continuously replenishing their numbers regardless of the outco.

"What is the aning of this? Does he truly intend to drag this out despite understanding his situation?" mumbled Soule after spending quite a while fighting Chaotic Luck and his legion.

"Or is he trying to create an illusion that he will never run out of mana?" he added while furrowing his brows.

He felt that he would be leaning more toward the latter case, especially when he noticed that the Chaotic Luck’s rate of replenishing his troops sowhat slowed down.

However, he did not imdiately jump into it, feeling that it might be a trap.

"Aside from those Skeletal Apes and a few flying beasts, none of these undeads can truly be considered as elite undead soldiers. He does not even have a highly advanced undead or soone at commander level aside from that Death Knight that was constantly on his side."

"What is he plotting? Is he conserving his strength?"

Soule was unable to see through the true intentions of his opponent, especially after seeing himself struggle despite using his Elental Spirit Possession.

He was now trapped in a predicant, whether to jump into the ’trap’ obviously ’laid’ before him or continue with this battle of attrition.
