Capítulo 1854: Chapter 1814: I Am the Real Devil

Among them, one person’s knife skill is exceptionally formidable. Ye Qiu glanced over and thought it must be the man in his fifties.

Indeed, the man stood out and laughed with a sound that was eerily terrifying.

The sound was like a rat gnawing on sothing.

“Senior brother, junior brother, let carve out his heart.”

Ye Qiu had already seen the opponent draw a long, thin Miao Knife and thrust it directly at him.

If it were an ordinary person, they definitely wouldn’t be able to dodge it. They would be stabbed, and their heart would be completely extracted.

However, the man was amazed that he didn’t even manage to strike Ye Qiu, as Ye Qiu had already disappeared without a trace.

“Senior brother, he’s behind you.”

Ye Qiu punched the man’s chest, sending him flying several ters away.

Ye Qiu punched with eighty percent of his strength, nearly crushing the opponent’s internal organs. As the man coughed up blood desperately, Xia Jing lay there, watching fearfully.

Another young man took out an iron hamr as thick as an arm and swung it directly at Ye Qiu. Unexpectedly, Ye Qiu kicked him flying before he got close.

As he fell to the ground, he also coughed up blood.

Ye Qiu picked up the iron hamr, approached the young man, and smashed it on the man’s right leg, shattering the bone in his right thigh!

When the young man’s screams echoed, the old man rely glanced at him and continued muttering sothing in front of the ritual altar.

At that mont, Xia Jing, who was crouched not far away, looked on. She hadn’t expected Ye Qiu to be so courageous, as she had just been worrying about him.

However, behind her, a two-ter-long venomous snake was crawling, which she had completely overlooked.

When the snake bit her on the rear, Xia Jing turned around to see the snake’s head towering over her crouched position, nearly fainting from fright.

“Ye, Ye Qiu, there’s a huge venomous snake, hurry and save .”

Ye Qiu turned around to see the venomous snake behind Xia Jing, about to entwine her, prompting him to rush over, ignoring the old man.

Arriving in front of Xia Jing, he grabbed the venomous snake.

A snake like this, two ters long and as thick as an arm, could easily crush and swallow a pig.

Ye Qiu held the snake’s head, and as it began to wrap around Ye Qiu’s arm, any ordinary person would struggle to shake it off.

But Ye Qiu went back, grabbed the sharp Miao Knife, and struck at the snake’s body.

The two-ter-long venomous snake was chopped into pieces, still writhing on the ground, knowing it was controlled by the old man.

“Ye Qiu, the snake bit on the rear.”

The snake’s venom started spreading from Xia Jing’s rear, causing her to feel increasingly dizzy.

Yet, after Ye Qiu cradled her to the side, inspecting the bite wound on her rear, he placed his hand over it, soon absorbing the venom.

Looking at the three of them again, they finally realized the prowess of this young man.

These three could not escape, so Ye Qiu simply had to wait there for Zhao Ruxue to bring reinforcents.

About an hour later, police sirens echoed outside, followed by Zhao Ruxue’s call asking, “Ye Qiu, where are you?”

“Here on the mountainside, walk about five hundred ters forward.”

Zhao Ruxue and her subordinates hurried over, reaching Ye Qiu and Xia Jing, as well as the three oddly dressed individuals.

“Ye Qiu, are these the three you ntioned?”

“They have confessed, admitting to stealing hearts. You can check if the hearts are here yourself.”

Zhao Ruxue’s subordinates went over to inspect, discovering six still-beating hearts laid out on a table. Upon seeing them, several officers felt nauseous; it was truly disgusting.

“Captain Zhao, the stolen hearts are all here, but for so reason, they are still beating.”

“Still beating?”

How could this be?

Zhao Ruxue walked over, seeing that it was indeed as described.

Seeing the beating hearts, recalling the recently deceased victims, Zhao Ruxue felt a wave of nausea and dizziness.

“Take them in, along with this criminal evidence.”

The officers imdiately handcuffed the three and took the items away when the old man suddenly looked at Ye Qiu and said, “You’ve angered the Demon Lord, you’ll die a terrible death.”

The Demon Lord?

“Demon Lord? I am the one.”

Ye Qiu had no idea what malicious deity these people believed in, but being born from the Heavenly Court Imperial dical Bureau, there was no way he would fear them.

Even if they truly worshiped so Demon, it would be the Demon afraid of them.

Ye Qiu shattered all their chaotic belongings, leaving the old man nearly spitting up blood in anger.

Clearly, these people stole and brought so many hearts here to offer to the Demon for a reason.

As the group was taken away, Ye Qiu watched Zhao Ruxue getting ready to leave and said, “Ruxue, be careful, these people might try to escape!”

Considering what they had done, Zhao Ruxue remained highly alert.

Ye Qiu and Xia Jing left the scene, with Xia Jing nearly in a state of stupor, partly due to the snake venom and so unknown dizziness.

Ye Qiu almost carried her to his car, laying her in the back seat.

Driving back to Peach Blossom Spring Villa, Ye Qiu said, “We’re here, wake up.”

Xia Jing opened her eyes, realizing they had returned to Peach Blossom Spring Villa.

Getting off the car and following Ye Qiu into the villa, she rembered what she had seen just now, yet couldn’t shake the feeling of imnse dread.

Ye Qiu asked her to rest in her room while he took a pair of shorts to shower.

After showering, he lay down and slept soundly.

The next morning, Ye Qiu got up for breakfast and planned to return to school for his exams, having papers in the morning and afternoon.

Xiaomai and Ye Xue were making breakfast as Chen Fang asked, “Ye Qiu, aren’t you waking Miss Xia for breakfast?”

“She went to bed late, no need to wake her.”

Ye Qiu claid there was nothing between them, but Chen Fang and Ye Weidong didn’t believe him, pondering why Ye Qiu knew she had slept late.

After he finished breakfast, he knew those three being caught, even if they might escape, ant they couldn’t commit cris anyti soon, so he didn’t worry about Xia Jing’s safety.

“Xiaomai, once Miss Xia wakes up, let her know she shouldn’t face any more trouble recently, she can handle her own affairs.”
