Ye Qiu noticed sothing was wrong with He Xiaoqing’s eyes at first glance, then moved on to her ntal state. Essentially, he could already confirm what had happened to her.

"Before the incident, did she have any contact with anyone?"

Ye Qiu asked.

"Seems like no."

He Xiaoqing and Li Lanfang, both worked at the butchery when He the Butcher delivered the slaughtered pigs from the city governnt slaughterhouse to the market. Then, the mother and daughter duo began selling them.

Generally, they sold one pig in the morning and another in the afternoon.

Every day was pretty much the sa.

During this ti, He Xiaoqing hadn’t had any contact with anyone, as neither He the Butcher nor Li Lanfang had seen her.

Ye Qiu rembered He Xiaoqing’s birthdate, which was a mory from his previous self.

Ye Qiu didn’t say much more and went upstairs to write so words on paper, instructing the other party to buy so dication for her from the pharmacy.

"Is this enough?" Li Lanfang asked incredulously.

She thought Ye Qiu was just being careless, finishing up quickly without taking He Xiaoqing seriously.

"Just follow my instructions."

"That house we live in in Jiangnan, will it really be a problem?"

"It’s related."

Ye Qiu didn’t stay longer, planning to leave with Liu Lingxiu and Xiaomai.

Currently, neither the residents from the old textile factory district, He the Butcher’s family, nor Liu Lingxiu and Xiaomai understood what illness He Xiaoqing had.

Now, Ye Qiu seed to figure out her condition just by looking.

Getting into the car, Liu Lingxiu asked, "Ye Qiu, what happened to He Xiaoqing?"

"She was victim to a Flying Charm."

Flying Charm?

Liu Lingxiu might have heard of it before.

Actually, the last ti Ye Qiu went to Malaysia to treat Lin Xiang’s father, he had encountered a Flying Charm, and it was a deadly one.

If it weren’t for Ye Qiu’s tily treatnt, Lin Xiang’s father would have already passed away.

What’s puzzling Ye Qiu is that He Xiaoqing stayed in Jinling, yet she was victim to a Flying Charm?

If it were a Gu Poison, Ye Qiu would find it more plausible.

Flying Charm is a type of Southeast Asian witchcraft.

According to legend, it’s a variety of indigenous witchcraft practiced by ancient Baiyue ancestors in Southeast Asia and southern Mainland China, with nurous local variations in spellcasting, but a commonality in using human bones, blood, hair, nails, ford human fetuses, certain woods, stones, pollen, oils, and other materials, mainly leaning towards negative energy spells.

They are usually categorized into two types, one is using Flying Charm to resolve grievances or enhance relations, while the other leads to injury or even death without the victim’s knowledge.

Ye Qiu, through his absorbed Soul Consciousness, learned about Southeast Asian witchcraft, distinguishing Flying Charm from Gu; fundantally, Flying Charm involves "casting" and "targeting."

"Casting" refers to spellcasting thods or dicinal Gu techniques used in witchcraft; "targeting" refers to the individual being spellcast upon, including "target contact control" like the victim’s birth date, na, photo, personal items such as clothing, lipstick, cups, etc., and related body parts like hair and nails.

The characteristics of Flying Charm emphasize spellcasting, supplented with herbal redies and unknown creatures.

Spell casting involves ghostly charm and witchcraft domains, which can roughly be divided into "Charm Techniques" and "Gu Poison" components. "Flying Charm" translates to casting spells on a person or designated object.

Symptoms of being victim to a Flying Charm include bad luck, deteriorating health, mood or personality abnormalities, experiencing hallucinations; unexplained bruises, teeth marks on both sides of the tongue, unusual muscle twitching, skin sensations of crawling, unexplained abdominal pain, fatigue, black lines in the whites of the eyes, etc.

So the question arises, what is the principle behind casting Flying Charm? Ye Qiu believes the principle mainly lies in two aspects, bio-chemical application, and macro-spiritual contact utilization; among them, the macro contact is the core of Flying Charm.

For spell casting materials, Flying Charm masters often use unknown herbs, bone ashes, corpse oil or grave soil, coffin wood, corpse cloth as leads, chanting scriptures, utilizing Yin God, ethereal spirits or Spiritual Power, causing the victim to unknowingly ingest, or possess hard individual’s body items, hair or nails, photos, nas, doll straw n, etc., forming informational links, resulting in special dicinal effects, toxicity, or mind control to kill or control the spellcast person.

As for the character and temper of the spell casting Flying Charm master, it’s very different from person to person; those with good character, only help dispel spells without casting, will ask the cause from the client before casting, often performing harmonious love spells and business attraction spells, charging reasonable fees, called White-clothed Sorcerer.

Whereas sorely character lacking ones, not only cast spells unlimitedly as long as paid, but also turn on people after taking money, occasionally covertly cast spells on ill-fated clients to gain wealth or lust, called Black-clothed Sorcerer.

Based on Flying Charm classification, it roughly divides into "dicinal Charm", "Flying Charm", "Ghostly Charm", three types.

Obviously, now He Xiaoqing’s situation falls under Ghostly Charm, leading her to have ntal issues.

Of course, Ye Qiu couldn’t yet determine who’s behind the Ghostly Charm activities.

"Flying Charm?" Liu Lingxiu asked.

"Exactly, Flying Charm, it’s quite common in Southeast Asia, and last ti I went there to treat a Chinese, I encountered a similar situation. However, his situation differed slightly from He Xiaoqing’s."

Liu Lingxiu and Xiaomai didn’t know about these matters.

They just felt a bit strange.

What dication did Ye Qiu prescribe?

The two girls had no clue either.

Ye Qiu drove away, heading toward Liu Lingxiu’s old ho, finding it pretty much unchanged upon arrival.

"My parents say there will be redevelopnt around here, we’ll get compensated then."

"Lingxiu, wouldn’t you already beco a little rich lady by then?"

In fact, Liu Lingxiu was already wealthy; in Hong Kong, Ye Qiu bought her a luxurious mansion worth billions, known only to Liu Lingxiu and her parents, kept secret from others to avoid arousing envy and jealousy.

Also, back in Jinling, Ye Qiu opened several chain supermarkets for Ye Weidong’s family, which naturally had good returns, so considering the house demolition and a generous compensation for it, Liu Lingxiu was already a big rich lady.

"Where?" Liu Lingxiu replied sheepishly.

She didn’t put much emphasis on money, so while people around Ye Qiu sought his investnt opportunities, Liu Lingxiu just wanted to study well currently.

"Lingxiu, you’re all set." Xiaomai said.

Compared to Xiaomai, Liu Lingxiu certainly had a much better situation.

But now, Xiaomai felt content with her life.

For so reason, upon seeing the place, recalling Zhang Wei’s death and now He Xiaoqing’s Flying Charm, he wondered if it was related to this.

However, the Wizard responsible for casting Gu had already died from the viruses he released.
