Early in the morning, Ye Qiu gave Cao Ling a kiss, and quietly returned to his room across the hall.

Last night he spent most of the ti cultivating, then went to accompany Cao Ling. Now, after returning and freshening up, he sat in the wicker chair there drinking tea.

When Liu Lingxiu woke up, she just felt that she hadn’t seen Ye Qiu in the latter half of the night and wondered where Ye Qiu went?

Now Liu Lingxiu is awake, and Ye Qiu made a call to wake up the two girls, Lin Xiang.

Then he woke up Cao Ling.

Because she had a long conversation with Ye Qiu yesterday, it was clear she didn’t get enough sleep. She just glanced at Ye Qiu in reproach, but what does it have to do with Ye Qiu; wasn’t it her who called him over in the middle of the night?

"Feeling quite sleepy, aren’t you?"

Isn’t this just a rhetorical question?

Cao Ling rolled her eyes at Ye Qiu again.

"Then close your eyes."

Cao Ling closed her eyes, just feeling Ye Qiu put his hands in front of her eyes. After about five minutes, Ye Qiu had already taken his hand back.

Soon, Cao Ling found out she wasn’t tired anymore.

How could this be?

Cao Ling couldn’t figure it out, thinking it might be due to Ye Qiu’s mysterious dical skills.

After leaving the hotel, Ye Qiu drove to a teahouse to have morning tea before going to the Cao Family’s courtyard. It was too early to go there without knowing what to do.

Upon arriving at the teahouse, Ye Qiu and the four won, including Cao Ling, went up to the second floor, and into a private room. Ye Qiu let the four won order food first, as they didn’t know when they would eat at the Cao Family’s place.

While the four won were ordering, the entire Cao Family was bustling.

It was the eighty-ninth birthday celebration of the third great-grandfather in the Cao Family, a grand occasion for Capital City. Invitations were sent out, and many people were expected to attend.

So who could not co might still send gifts.

Ye Qiu and the four won, including Cao Ling, ordered tea pastries, chatted while eating, and around nine o’clock in the morning, Cao Ling’s phone rang—it was Cao Long calling.

"Cao Ling, younger sister, where are you with Doctor Ye? Why haven’t you co yet?"

"We’re still having morning tea, we’ll be there soon."

By approximately nine-thirty, they settled the bill and ca downstairs from the teahouse, then drove to the Cao Family’s courtyard.

There were too many cars parked there, the area had already been regulated, and simply couldn’t accommodate so many cars. Nearby roads and streets were all used as temporary parking lots.

Although the Cao Family’s influence in Capital City wasn’t very strong, considering Cao Ling’s grandfather Cao Lao’s position in the Jinling Military Region, nobody could underestimate them.

Parking the car there, the four won including Cao Ling had bought gifts, whereas Ye Qiu ca empty-handed. Still, the gifts the won bought were considered from Ye Qiu as well.

Upon arriving at the entrance of the Cao Family’s courtyard, Ye Qiu already sensed the atmosphere; it felt very lively inside and out.

It felt just like New Year’s.

Outside the door, people were receiving gifts, and naturally noted down for reciprocation in the future.

Cao Ling and the other won went over, handed over their gifts, noted their relationship with the third great-grandfather of the Cao Family, and went inside.

Once inside, Ye Qiu found the place quite populated.

But he wasn’t familiar with them all.

He only knew people like Cao Long and the young master of Zhou’s family among the playboys.

Of course, everyone in the Cao Family respected Ye Qiu’s dical skills a lot now.

If it weren’t for Ye Qiu, this occasion might not be a celebration, but a mourning.

Ye Qiu and Cao Ling sat down and noticed quite a few young people from Capital City, but the big shots like Crown Prince and his gang seed absent.

Ye Qiu found lots of delicious food prepared here, various desserts, and as Ye Qiu and Liu Lingxiu sat with the three won, Cao Ling went over to help.

It was Lin Xiang’s first ti seeing a dostic, large family hosting such a birthday feast, so she found it quite interesting.

Ye Qiu and Lin Xiang sat with the three won.

Soon, Ye Qiu saw the third great-grandfather of the Cao Family, donned in a festive red Tang suit, co over energetically.

He knew this young man had saved him and even ntioned he would have another decade or two of life, which is incredible.

So he knew the biggest benefactor was indeed this Doctor Ye.

"Doctor Ye, you’ve co, wonderful," said the third great-grandfather of the Cao Family.

Originally, before he recovered, he emitted a suffocating aura mixed with other unpleasant scents, which were gone now.

Instead, he appeared very energetic as he reached out to shake Ye Qiu’s hand, saying, "May the third great-grandfather’s longevity surpass that of the Southern Mountains."

Ye Qiu didn’t say "live to a hundred," as normally, it wouldn’t be excessive for this third great-grandfather to live over a hundred, considering Ye Qiu had almost revamped his internal organs to resemble those of soone fifty to sixty.

After chatting for a while, the third great-grandfather left.

With so many guests, he had to greet them all.

When Cao Ling returned, relatives from her grandfather, parents, and uncles in Jinling had already sent gifts, all handed over to the Cao Family.

"Doctor Ye, have you heard about Ye Feng running into trouble?" Young Master Zhou said.

Ye Feng?

"Who is Ye Feng?"

Ye Qiu asked.

Who’s Ye Feng?

Isn’t it the young man from the Ye Family whom Ye Qiu hit yesterday at the restaurant?

Ye Qiu had completely forgotten.

"Just the Ye Family’s young master you kicked yesterday."

"Oh, what trouble is he in?"

"I’ve heard from Concord Hospital that suddenly he developed a severe case of body odor and bad breath, and furthermore, other illnesses were diagnosed."

Body odor and bad breath?

Ye Qiu chuckled internally; it seed this was just beginning.

"Is that all?"

"I heard that he might have contracted AIDS."

AIDS?

An unquestionably fatal disease, even if so patients might delay it for so ti, they still suffer a painful death eventually.

Unexpectedly, now this Ye Feng might have contracted AIDS.

Of course, it was just rumors now and couldn’t be confird true.

Ye Qiu’s expression remained unchanged, showing no sign of particular reaction.

Young Master Zhou and others kept observing Ye Qiu, suspicious of his relationship with the Ye Family, but Ye Qiu seed indifferent about Ye Feng’s situation, making them even more puzzled.

Now, in the Cao Family courtyard, the number of guests kept increasing, and by ten o’clock in the morning, it got even livelier.

This ti, instead of hosting lavish banquets at an external hotel, they chose to hold it directly in the Cao Family courtyard with a flowing feast.

Yesterday, the Cao Family had invited prominent chefs from Capital City to cook personally here, so the food here was potentially even better than at a hotel.

As the feast was about to begin, Ye Qiu and Cao Ling, with the four won, and the young playboys including Young Master Zhou sat at a table together.
