This type of banquet, Ye Qiu had never experienced, and Cao Ling hadn’t for a long ti, but Lin Xiang had often attended them in Malaysia.

Because Chinese people and overseas Chinese are quite traditional, for any major festival or significant event, they would hold such a banquet. However, this was Lin Xiang’s first ti seeing one in Huaxia.

The female servers hired by the Cao Family began bringing in dishes related to birthdays, and they all looked enticing.

Ye Qiu was eating with Cao Ling and the others when suddenly soone rushed in from outside.

Clearly, sothing bad had happened.

Just as Cao Ling stood up to go out to check, Ye Qiu and Cao Ling followed those leading out, and surprisingly, they found soone delivering a coffin.

What does this an?

It’s the celebration of Cao Family’s third granduncle, and now soone sent a coffin? Isn’t that implying they wish for his early death?

Undoubtedly, this was most disconcerting.

"Who exactly are you, are you trying to stir trouble at the Cao Family?"

Cao Long’s uncle looked at the n, questioning them.

These n had just received the location for the coffin delivery and ca, but when they drove here, they realized the atmosphere wasn’t at all like a funeral, knowing then that there might be a mistake.

"Sir, we are from Tianjin and received an order to deliver today; who would have thought."

Tianjin?

It’s not far from here. When the man took out the order address, it indeed matched this place’s exact address.

"Imdiately pull these things away, it’s just bad luck to see them."

If granduncle learns of it, wouldn’t he be furious?

Those n quickly realized this family wasn’t one to ss with and decided to leave without saying anything.

But they had only received a deposit, and as for who placed the order, they were unaware.

Now, asking them wouldn’t yield any answers.

As these n hurriedly drove away, Cao Long and the Cao Family found it perplexing. Although they knew granduncle’s health was quite severe, possibly nearing death, this coffin thing was outdated. Even if sent to a funeral ho, they would provide a coffin and then proceed to the crematorium, finally being sent to Babaoshan.

Who buys a coffin nowadays?

So the Cao Family knew soone was deliberately causing trouble.

But the Cao Family didn’t know whom they had offended.

Ye Qiu and Cao Ling returned to their seats when Young Master Zhou asked, "Doctor Ye, what happened outside just now?"

"Soone sent sothing inappropriate over."

Sent sothing inappropriate?

What was it?

Ye Qiu didn’t elaborate, but soon word spread that soone had sent a coffin to the Cao Family courtyard gate, and many saw it—a blood-red coffin, looking quite terrifying.

A coffin?

Sending a coffin on Cao Family’s birthday celebration?

This was clearly intentional troublemaking.

Lin Xiang and the others were speechless; such a thing surely ruined the Cao Family’s joyous occasion.

The third granduncle of the Cao Family, drinking with the elders, wasn’t supposed to know about this, but with so many people talking.

Soon, while drinking, granduncle learned about it.

"What do you an soone sent what?"

"A coffin."

A coffin?

Cao Family’s third granduncle hadn’t drunk the wine yet and suddenly clutched his chest, feeling a sharp pain, almost fainting. When realizing sothing wasn’t right, clearly agitated, he was rushed to his room while Ye Qiu, who was eating, saw Cao Long hastily approaching him.

"Doctor Ye, please hurry and check on my granduncle; he’s been deeply affected."

Ye Qiu and Cao Ling hurried over.

Reaching granduncle’s room, a crowd was gathered outside.

A joyful event unexpectedly turned chaotic.

Ye Qiu observed the pale-faced granduncle lying on the bed.

While examining him, Ye Qiu found he had been montarily agitated, where anger overwheld him.

"Actually, sending a coffin isn’t entirely a bad thing."

Not entirely a bad thing?

The Cao Family didn’t understand what Ye Qiu ant.

"I think soone from the Cao Family is about to get promoted and wealthy."

Promoted and wealthy?

Officials have dreamt of coffins at night and unexpectedly received promotion orders the next day; this is the promotion and wealth. But now, it’s not a dream, rather a coffin delivered for real.

"Really?"

The Cao Family couldn’t believe it.

They weren’t sure if Ye Qiu was joking with granduncle, but watching Ye Qiu, it didn’t seem like he was lying.

"Indeed."

Ye Qiu replied.

"That’s wonderful, granduncle, thanks to you, soone in our family is going to be promoted and wealthy; this is fantastic news!"

These elders and children are easily affected by such things.

However, granduncle was literally pushed to the brink with anger and stimulation, but now, with Ye Qiu’s treatnt, once granduncle expelled that frustration, he’s alright.

Upon reflection, he realized he had once laid in a coffin, only to encounter Ye Qiu now, feeling he could live another ten or twenty years, why worry about such things?

It was just unnecessary trouble.

Seeing granduncle’s expression quickly restored, the Cao Family finally relaxed.

Ye Qiu and Cao Ling left, saying, "Earlier, your granduncle had pent-up frustration in his chest, now it’s released, so no worries."

"Who knows who would do sothing so wicked, daring to pull such a prank!"

"In this world, it’s hard to tell good from bad people."

Ye Qiu knew it must be soone with enmity against the Cao Family deliberately doing it, possibly to infla granduncle or as an intentional prank, even to disgust the Cao Family during the celebration.

But discovering who was behind it, they must ensure to retaliate strongly.

Returning to their seats, Young Master Zhou and others knew with Ye Qiu present, the granduncle would be fine.

Everyone resud eating, drinking, and cooking, while many folk artists invited by the Cao Family began performing.

Like lion dances, magic shows, shadow puppetry, Sichuan opera, and more—typically seen during New Year’s temple fairs—are now seen here.

For this celebration of granduncle, the Cao Family put in considerable effort in inviting these folk artists to perform.
