Back in the lab, Lin Xuan Qi opened the pot that had the thick mixture inside it.
After two days, it had crystallized into crystals that were brownish in color.
He checked on the water mixed with ash for the crop stalk and saw that it had also settled with the sedint underneath the container.
Now, all he had to do was get to the last stage of the process.
He got the crude MSG crystals out of the pot and washed the surface of these MSG crystals with water.
After which he put them into a wok and added in water to boil and dissolve the crystals.
When it was done, he stirred the wok and slowly added in the liquid from the water mixed with crop stalk ash.
This was the tricky part.
If he added in too much, the resulting MSG would have an astringent taste.
So he had to add so in, taste the mixture periodically and add more if the mixture was still sour.
Slowly, Lin Xuan Qi added in more until it was just enough, and as he did so, he made sure to record down how much was needed.
Getting the ratio and asurent correct was crucial to the success.
Finally, when he was done, all he had to do was boil the mixture until the water evaporated and it was thick again.
And there was nothing left for him after that other than to wait for it to crystallize.
Lin Xuan Qi didn’t leave the lab imdiately.
He stayed inside to continue on his cultivation.
Recently, he felt that he was near the breakthrough to the next stage of his Qi Concentration Level.
Right now, he was in the Initial stage and after that, there were the Mid, Refined and Perfected stages until he got to Foundation Establishnt Level.
Zhi Yong also joined in with him practicing the breathing and the stances.
And in contrast, Zhi Yong was happy to be doing sothing with his master and he wasn’t too worried about getting to the next level or whether he was improving.
Ti went by fast while they cultivated, getting lost in the process.
Outside the lab, many things were happening.
Servants were putting up the last bit of decorations.

Two days passed and it was the day before the wedding.
Things were getting more intense with everyone seemingly in chaos.
Servants made sure everything was in order and the seniors also did the sa checking their work over and over again.
And amidst the chaos, Lin Xuan Qi still rembered to check on the result of his experint.
He got into the lab the first thing in the morning after breakfast and opened the cover of the pot that had the thick mixture inside.
"Yes." To his relief the mixture had crystallized and he took them out.
These MSG crystals weren’t sparkling clear like the ones he had before but it was the best he could do with what was available to him.
"Master, this good?" Zhi Yong tilted his head and pointed at the MSG.
He wasn’t sure what these things could do.
They looked like salt or sugar but different and he could only imagine what it tasted like after hearing about it from Master Lin for so long.
Lin Xuan Qi lifted his head up high with pride and said, "This, this here is sothing that could revolutionize the cuisines of the Da Qian Dynasty."
His lips curled up uncontrollably when he thought about the tastiness of the food that he was able to have again.
It felt like ages to him and finally, he was able to savor it once more.
"Co, follow and try it out."
With this thought in his mind, Lin Xuan Qi put the MSG into a container and he headed straight towards the kitchen.
Zhi Yong quickly followed closely behind to see what he was up to.
In the kitchen, Auntie Sue and the other servants were hard at work preparing the stuff for the big day tomorrow.
They were busy preparing whatever they could first.
"Master Lin..." Auntie Sue wiped the sweat off her brow when she saw Lin Xuan Qi enter the kitchen.
She didn’t expect him to appear in the kitchen.
"I need to test this out..." Lin Xuan Qi pointed at the container with the MSG inside and said, "...Prepare a few dishes and make sure to put in one or two spoonful of this when you add in the salt."
Auntie Sue didn’t know what was inside but she figured it must be sothing tasty so she got to work imdiately.
There were many ready washed and chopped vegetables and at for the wedding so it wasn’t too difficult for her to accomplish it.
Cooking oil was poured into the heated wok, giving off a sizzling sound.

While she got busy, Lin Xuan Qi and Zhi Yong went to the dining hall and waited for the result.
He was all smiles while they waited.
And when he saw Xue Cong and Yue Jie passing by with Yue Xin and Liu Shi Shi, he got them to take a break and join in the wait.
"Master Lin, we just had breakfast." Xue Cong frowned and asked, not very sure what he was up to.
"Heh. I wouldn’t mind." Yue Xin interjected and said.
Master Lin always had new delicious food and this ti he must be trying out sothing new, she thought.
Yue Jie shook her head at her sister but kept quiet this ti.
After today, she would be a concubine of the Lin Family and she didn’t want to spoil her last day as a daughter of the Liu Family.
