When Huo Jun put the braised at into his mouth, he didn’t expect much.
The braised at slled great but it wasn’t anything too spectacular than what he had before.
But when he took a bite onto it, he glanced at Huo Fei Li with wide opened eyes.
Huo Fei Li nodded his head at him, giving him a ’I told you’ look.
Huo Jun munched onto the braised at he had and he glanced over at Lin Xuan Qi.
The braised at was tender and juicy.
Covered with the braised sauce, the at was tastier with its saltiness and other seasonings.
And out from the seasonings, there was sothing else he had never tasted before.
It made it even much better.
Lin Xuan Qi gave him a smile back and said, "Try the other dishes, I think you will like them too."
Huo Jun swallowed the braised beef he had and he picked up the fried eggs that were next to the braised beef.
Without fail, the fried eggs were as delicious as the braised beef.
The special seasoning helped elevate its taste.
And as soone who was keen on food, Huo Jun was eager to find out what it was.
"What did you add to make them taste so good?
"It’s not saltiness or sweetness but sothing else... sothing that makes everything better.
"And now I will need to have it with every al I take."
Lin Xuan Qi picked up his teacup, had a sip from it and said, "It’s what I call the Lin Clan Taste Transcendent Essence.
"Put a little into the dishes as seasoning and the taste would be better."
"Lin Clan Taste Transcendent Essence?" Huo Jun mumbled to himself while he glanced at Lin Xuan Qi.
His impression of Lin Xuan Qi was even better now.
This young man was going for bigger things.
"Will you be selling this in Bian Jing?" He asked.
Lin Xuan Qi nodded his head and replied, "I am planning to do so and sell it with another product of mine.
"But there are still many things and details to be settled.
"So you might have to wait for now."
"Good to hear. I shall wait eagerly to be able to get the essence in Bian Jing." Huo Jun nodded approvingly at him.
He glanced over back at Huo Fei Li and couldn’t help but make a comparison with Huo Fei Li.
If only he could be as ambitious like Lin Xuan Qi. Huo Jun thought.
Huo Fei Li tilted his head at Huo Jun when he saw Huo Jun’s gaze.
"Nothing." Huo Jun shook his head and quickly snapped out of it.
His nephew Huo Fei Li was as good as anyone else.
The Huo Family shall support him in whatever he wants to do.
Huo Jun went on and savored the other dishes and they were all excellent.
And after he was done, he reluctantly stood up to bid farewell to Lin Xuan Qi and Huo Fei Li.
He had spent more ti in the Lin Mansion than he had planned.
The food was too good for him and he had to do it.
"Thanks for the al. It’s about ti for to go and get rid of the assailant." He cupped his hands at Lin Xuan Qi and said.
Lin Xuan Qi stood up and cupped his hands back at Huo Jun.
"Hope you will be done and be back safely soon."
"Don’t worry, I will. In the anti take good care of Huo Fei Li for ." Huo Jun said and patted on the back of Huo Fei Li.
Huo Fei Li quickly nodded his head.
It was what he had planned to do anyway.
And with that, Huo Jun turned around and left with his guards.
Lin Xuan Qi sat and had a sip of his tea, thinking about what he should do with Huo Fei Li and Lu Ting for the ti being.
He glanced out of the windows of the dining hall and saw the autumn leaves falling.
Maybe he could get them to spend their ti in the garden. Lin Xuan Qi thought and made his decision.
"Since we have nothing much to do, co with to the garden if you want to."
Huo Fei Li nodded his head and Lu Ting was also fine with it.
She needed a chance to talk to Lin Xuan Qi about that special attribute he had.
Any price for it would be negotiable.
It was the only thing that could help her ascend to the next level now.
"Master Lin, I will get them to set up the place." Xiu said and Lin Xuan Qi nodded at her.
However, he could feel the gaze from several pairs of eyes not too far away.
Xue Cong and the others had their eyes on him in case Lu Ting went weird and crazy again.
And even though they knew that he would be able to take care of it, they couldn’t let it go in their minds.
Thankfully, nothing much happened.
She was seated far away and hadn’t talked to him much.
Lin Xuan Qi led them to the garden and by the ti they were there snacks and hot tea were placed inside the pavilion.
"This is great." Huo Fei Li marveled at the scenery and said.
"Took a while to have it done but it was worth the effort." Lin Xuan Qi sat down and thought about the ti he had fishing with Zhi Yong, Yue Xin and Liu Shi Shi.
He would definitely do it again when he was done with all the work.
"Too bad the weather is turning cold, if not, we can fish by the pond, I’ve put in quite a number of fishes into the pond.
"I’m not too sure if they can survive till now." Lin Xuan Qi shook his head and said with a sigh.
Huo Fei Li got intrigued and pointed at the surface of the pond, "I think they are still alive, look."
There were small ripples appearing on the surface of the pond.
He glanced at Lin Xuan Qi and said, "Maybe your wish can be fulfilled today."
Lin Xuan Qi raised an eyebrow at him and said, "Are you sure?"
