"...But… are you sure this will happen?" One of the cabinet mbers asked, but he wasn't sure.

Normally, soone like Yzak would snort and decline, but his mother is literally on the chopping block.
"...Sir…" Yzak swallowed his pride and asked. "My mother, while she was part of Patrick Zala's political party, was not aware of what he was building.
"Hmm, in other words, you desire leniency for her." Marcus knew where this was going.

"...I… don't mind. But, who will we be fighting?" Yzak asked, he doesn't mind the military, while it will be strange to serve with Naturals, which he used to hate until he got humbled. It was still strange.
"Whatever is left on Earth. Our goal is simple: to end all wars between humans. To do so, only one nation is needed. Once humanity is united, we can focus on what is important.
And that is the future. Space exploration, colonisation of new worlds, building new colonies." Marcus began his speech, which was natural to him by this point.

After finishing all the etings, Marcus went to the temporary ho he was staying at, a quite fancy estate close to a lake.
"Quite a sight!" Cagalli comnted as she joined her father on the terrace.
"Indeed. Though you should see the sight in Jupiter." Marcus replied, recalling eating breakfast in a similar arrangent, only with a massive gas giant in the background.
"I can't wait to see it. Though…" She looked at him, a bit concerned.
"What about Kira? He attacked you." The girl looked worried for her brother.
"Relax, I am not angry, you can sense that, can you?" He smiled at his daughter.
"I guess… by the way, what is with your wife!" Cagalli nodded with an uncertain look, but then she recalled sothing else! Lacus!
"What about her?" Marcus was confused for a second.
"He turned the other Lacus into a maid! It's weird!" The black-haired princess complained.
"Did she now? I thought she would let her go, but I guess…" The disguised Emperor was surprised by his wife's choice.
"She said sothing about getting embarrassed. Do royals all behave like that?" Cagalli complained even more.
"They do. One of my wives almost assassinated a girl for talking badly about .
Stuff happens when you give won authority and power." Marcus shrugged; he already accepted the fact that there would be collateral damage for having Empresses.
"Like hell! I won't do that!" The girl looked away with her arms crossed.
"Is it? We will see… once you et your mothers, things will change." Marcus chuckled; he could already imagine Anna and Kallen pampering this spitfire for all the missed years.
"Ugh…" 'mothers? It sounds so wrong.'
"Now co here, let's enjoy so tea together." The Emperor patted the seat next to him as he poured so tea into another cup.
