Archangel and Dominion entered Earth's atmosphere, joining two fleets of Earth Alliance and ZAFT that rged into one massive fleet.
These were regular warships, not spaceships. The spaceships positioned above Orb were preparing to launch their mobile suits into orbit.
As two flagships joined the fleet, they began to move towards Orb's national waters.
"Cagalli, do your magic. Let's see if bringing these many ships was a waste of resources." Marcus comnted as he leaned his head against his fist.
"Sure. Let's let launch in my Gundam." The girl swiftly left the bridge.
"With how many of us there are, I am not sure they desire to fight us." Captain Ramius chipped in. Their fleet was massive.
Not as big as the space fleet, but even then, they had a considerable amount of submarines as well, which one can't see.
"There is a reason why Pride is a sin. I know that well." Marcus replied as he relaxed in his seat.
"This could take a while. Do you want so tea?" Lacus asked her husband while standing next to him.
"Sure. I don't have a reason to launch or you in that matter. We can join the 2nd or 3rd wave." The Emperor nodded to his wife.
"Okay." With that said, the pinkette left the bridge.
"..."
"..."
"Now then, let's see what Orb will do." Marcus slightly smiled. He wondered if Akatsuki was under developnt. Since there are a decent number of machines, he might take them with him when he finishes this trip.
His collection has to grow.

Cagalli jumped into her new, fancy Justice Gundam, which then moved to the catapult deck. The deck lit up as the tunnel's lights ca on, and the end opened, revealing the Pacific Ocean before her and an island in the distance.
"Transferring launch controls."
"You are good to launch, Lieutenant," the Control Operative said to the Princess.
"Alright! Cagalli Anaheim, in Justice, launching!" The girl grinned as she pressed the button on the control stick. The grey mobile suit blasted out, with a spin, it turned into a red machine as variable phase shift armour turned on.
Then the backpack ca off as the Gundam landed on it. That's Justice's 'ability': ZAFT designed this machine with a special backpack like a 'Glider' for superior flight in Earth's atmosphere.
The red mobile suit rushed towards Orb's territorial waters.
That's where Orb's navy greeted her.
"Turn around, these are Orb's territorial waters. We will attack if you ignore our warnings." A guy via loudspeaker said to Cagalli.
"This is Cagalli Anaheim, in Orb, my na was Cagalli Yula Athha." The girl tried to use her old identity.
"We know who you are, Princess."
When the girl heard that, she sighed, getting a bit teary.
"I see. I can assu that you will ignore my warning and will continue to fight?" The girl closed her eyes as she already knew the answer.
"We will do what we must."
With that said, the red Gundam turned around and returned to her fleet.

"It would seem they ignored their Princess."
"Is she still their Princess though?" Lacus curiously comnted as she poured his tea.
"Well, they didn't denounce anything." Marcus took the cup and swirled his tea for a second before taking a sip.
"Captain, send the prepared ssage with our terms. As usual, give them several hours to ponder it." The Boss of the newly created United Federation said to his Flagship's Captain.
"Understood. Send the ssage."
Monts later, Cagalli returned to the bridge. She was still in her pilot suit, looking a bit annoyed.
"They ignored !" She said with a puff.
"Well, you are an officer of another nation. That much is given." Marcus chuckled at his daughter's silliness.
"Ugh!"
As they waited for a reply, another person walked in; it was Kira.
"Father."
"Kira."
"...I have decided to fight." He said with a bit of heat.
"Is that so?" Marcus looked at him as his son walked over to his side.
"Yes. I will assist in bringing the permanent peace you desire." He said while clenching his fist.
"Good, it just turns out that I have a spare Gundam in the hangar." He smirked at his son.
"I doubt it's spare, since you prepared it knowing that I would join you in the very end." The brown-haired teen sighed a bit. He knew that, in the end, his father had predicted he would join him either way.
'His Geass is way stronger than mine. If he can see that far in the future.'
"Maybe, but you can prepare, as the ti I gave them is running out." He said while looking at the tir on the screen.
"As you wish." With that said, Kira tried to salute; it was awkward at best, but still, he was trying. Once he finished the salute, he left the bridge.
"Hmph, it would seem at the very end he ca around," Cagalli comnted with crossed arms.
"A bit late, but it's fine." She added while looking away.
Marcus simply chuckled as he returned to his tea.
Not long afterwards, the first batch of mobile suits was launched as the battle for Orb had begun.

"They do have mobile suits! And they are not bad!" Duel Gundam spec II blasted an Astray. A machine that looks very similar to a Gundam, except that it doesn't have phase shift armour.
"Yeah. Not bad for a small country!" Dearka joined as his Buster spec II model unleashed hell with the latest weapon upgrades.
The improved models incorporate the latest technological advancents from both ZAFT and the Earth Alliance.
This includes Nuclear power sources, beam deflectors and stronger beam rifles. All of the Gundams in this battlefield are nuclear-powered.
Marcus made sure they stayed up to date for the last battle.
"Look at that, our reinforcents are here," Dearka comnted as the sky turned red. Multiple pods were entering the planet right above them.
There were at least fifty, if not more, of them.
As they got closer, the green pods opened, revealing four mobile suits each. Among them were GINNs, GCUE, the new GuAIZ and of course a considerable number of Strike Daggers and the Commander Class 105s.
Just like that. The battlefield had over a hundred machines, and it was just the first wave, as there was much more than this!
While cannon fodder versus cannon fodder takes ti, there are four Gundams on the field, and two of them are the new ZGMF-X series.
Gundam Justice and Freedom were mowing the Astrays at absurd speed.
In the Freedom case, a single shot took down six machines. While Kira is not killing pilots, his Gundam can target multiple targets and shoot at once.
Justice has absurd close combat capabilities, allowing it to overpower any mass-produced unit with ease.
These machines didn't need any support from the army, as they operated on their own.
Soon enough, one of the islands has fallen to the Federation. While not the capital, it was the main military base and Mass Drive location.
"Father, the island has fallen. It only leaves the city. What should we do?" Cagalli asked her father as she looked at the chopped-up Astray lying before her.
Orb has no commander machines, making their army a bit weak in that regard.
'I am a bit surprised how many of these machines they built.'
"Don't worry, assu defensive positions and begin the occupation process. If they think we don't have the ans to take over a city, then they are wrong in that regard."
Marcus slightly smirked as he had an idea.
"Understood." Cagalli wondered what her old man was thinking.
Sure enough, as Federation forces began to dig in and take over, the two flagships that flew over on top of them were rows of 105s with a pink Buster leading them.
"Holy, damn! Those will snipe those Astrays hiding in the streets and behind the buildings." As the princess comnted, Archangel and Dominion began to circle the city, and the sniper units began to rain down with precise shots.
A single shot from a hyper-powered railgun turned Astrays into fireworks.
"How long are they going to resist like this?" Kira asked with disbelief and annoyance. Orb fighting like this and dying with no reason in his eyes is making him even more annoyed.
"They are a stubborn bunch. We should take the governnt building."
With that said, the two Gundams rushed towards governnt-related buildings. Thanks to Cagalli, she knows where they are and what they do.
The machine swiftly disabled the communication antennas, preventing communication between Astrays and the command.
And so, in less than an hour, Orb has fallen. The military could do little as the sheer size of the invasion fleet made defence practically impossible.
Soon enough, Marcus strolled into the Chief Representative Building with his escort.
"At least you stopped resisting," Marcus comnted as he saw the cabinet mbers basically sitting in their seats, watching their country being conquered in record ti.
"We resisted the best we could." Lord Uzumi said with a sigh. "So what will happen now?"
"Hah. That's the thing. You read my demands; they were not unreasonable." Marcus walked over and sat down at one of the empty chairs.
"You cease all of the military developnt, there is only one military in the world, and you join the Federations.
You might keep governing your islands as you did before, but there will be a federal governnt that you will have to listen to.
That's about it." He explained to the gathered people.
"These are not difficult demands now, are they?" Marcus shrugged at them.
In a way, Orb was far too hard-headed. The Boss of the Federation didn't demand sothing unreasonable.
No military, and listen to the new governnt, that's about it. The rest they can do as they please.
However, it was already far too much for the old Governnt, which wanted its freedom and independence.
"Very well. We accept your conditions." In the very end, Orb had no choice but to accept. Simply because they have no other choice, there is no other country that could help them.
Not that Orb had real allies; it's a country that used to stay out of everyone's business and, in turn, was a true neutral country.
"It's good to see that we reached a mutual understanding." With that said, Orb conquest was complete, and Marcus soon left the building.

"Cagalli." The black-haired girl turned around and saw Lord Uzumi walk over to her. The Princess was looking around for one last ti before she would return to the Archangel.
"It would seem you learned your origins."
"...I did, and from the looks of it, you never intended to tell who I was."
The man grimaced for a couple of monts.
"I wanted to raise you as Heir to Orb. As the nobility of this land. Especially since your father was nowhere to be found." Lord Uzumi said while looking at the massive white ship in the background.
"That's because my mother was a coward and never said what she should have said." Cagalli rolled her eyes.
"Regardless, I never liked the ideology of Orb. It always felt to that this country never wanted to reach its true potential, always sabotaging itself.
It might be for the best that I am not its future ruler."
'Why would I bother with a small archipelago if I can rule entire solar systems for my father?' The Princess thought to herself.
"...I see. I suppose it's your father's blood." Lord Uzumi should have known. The mont he noticed the girl was not learning as she should have been, he should have placed her with an appropriate family.
Well, that option is long gone by now.
"Indeed, and from now on, Orb will only get better.
You will get your funds for that Space elevator and rebuild Heliopolis. The true era of peace will start soon." With that said, Cagalli walked towards her Justice that was waiting for her.
She did her part for the country that raised her. Well, first she needed to destroy it, to make it get reborn.
