She smiled at Keith Antony, "Assistant Antony, thank you for speaking on my brother’s behalf every ti, even though you really don’t need to say so much for him."
Keith Antony glanced at Alice Robinson through the rearview mirror, "Miss Alice, actually, I really hope you can develop sothing with the boss..."
"Assistant Antony, you’ve misunderstood... I never thought about developing that kind of relationship with my brother; our ending was decided long ago." Alice hurriedly said.
Keith Antony sighed softly, "I can’t really say much about matters of the heart... I hope Miss Alice is well in France."
"Thank you, I will be."
At the airport, just before the security check, Alice drew a smiley face on a piece of paper with a pen.
After finishing, Alice handed the smiley face to Keith Antony, asking him to pass it on to Chester Robinson.
Keith Antony didn’t understand the aning behind the smiley face Alice sent to Chester, but he nodded and promised to pass it on for Alice.
Before turning to go to security, Alice said one last thing to Keith Antony, "Please tell him for ... I hope he can let go, and one day tear up this smiley face himself."
"Alright."
Two hours later.
In the study, Keith Antony handed the drawing to Chester Robinson, "Boss, I’ve already seen Miss Alice boarded the plane. This is what she asked to give you before going through security."
Chester took the drawing, quietly gazing at the smiley face on it, silent.
Keith Antony continued, "Miss Alice also asked to pass on a ssage... she said she hopes one day you can let go and then personally tear up this smiley face."
Tearing it up would an not dwelling on it anymore and also signify a complete removal from the heart.
Chester felt an indescribable stir in his heart, but he said nothing and just kept looking at the smiley face on the drawing.
Seeing that Chester had no reaction, Keith Antony couldn’t help but say, "Boss, I actually think Miss Alice is pretty good. She’s changed a lot over these two years, and matured a lot... In the past, all her faults were because she lived in such a privileged and excellent environnt, but those characteristics nurtured in privileged environnts don’t represent her true nature. I think you might want to consider this carefully. After all, you and Miss Alice already have a child, maybe you could..."
At that mont, Chester raised his eyes, shooting a cold glance at Keith Antony.
Keith Antony imdiately stopped talking, bowing his head, not daring to say more.
Chester stood up, saying calmly, "Arrange for my lawyer to help Alice with this lawsuit... make sure we win."
"Yes."
Chester didn’t say anything more and left the study on his own.
After a flight of over ten hours, Alice finally returned to Paris.
When she saw Rachel waddling towards her, she joyfully showered Rachel with kisses and hugs.
Rachel nestled into her embrace, her chubby little hands hugging Alice’s neck, "Mommy... miss you..."
Her daughter said she missed her.
Alice couldn’t help but give her daughter another kiss on the face, carrying her towards the sofa, while saying, "Mommy missed you too."
Aunt PA noticed that this ti Alice ca back without furrowing her brows, probably guessing that Alice had convinced Chester to help her. Aunt PA asked with a smile, "Miss, is the lawsuit not going to be an issue?"
While playing with Rachel, Alice answered Aunt PA, "Hmm, no problem, my brother said he will handle it."
Upon hearing this, Aunt PA was overjoyed, "I knew Mr. Chester could solve this problem... Miss, Mr. Chester still cares for you after all."
Alice laughed cheerfully, playing with Rachel, but only she knew that behind her smile, her heart felt empty.

Alice sat in front of the cradle, gently rocking her daughter to sleep.
