Skyler Jones handed his briefcase and suit jacket to the servant, then sat down beside Christine Quinn, wrapping his arm around her waist and naturally pecked her on the cheek, "Thank you."
Although she was already used to showing affection with Skyler Jones in front of Marilyn Quinn, Skyler rarely kissed her in front of Marilyn, which made Christine a bit uncomfortable.

Skyler habitually ruffled his daughter’s soft hair, "Alright, Daddy will go back to the company this afternoon and make arrangents, and then in the next couple of days, I’ll take your mommy on vacation."
In the afternoon, Marilyn was doing howork in her room, while Christine was bored, sitting in the lounge watching TV.
Her mind was so cluttered that, with the remote in her hand, she couldn’t find the channel she wanted to watch. Finally, she tossed the remote aside and slouched tiredly on the sofa.

She understood well that this was an idea her little gremlin of a daughter ca up with, but she couldn’t refuse, especially since Skyler had agreed.
Were she and Skyler really going to go on vacation? It seed not only awkward but also a bit unbelievable.
Just when Christine’s thoughts were in a turmoil, her phone suddenly rang.
Seeing the number on the phone screen, Christine looked excited and quickly hit the answer button, "Hello..."
"Sis."
"Becca, you’re back from the island?"
"Yes, Howard and I got back yesterday."
Christine leaned against the sofa back and asked, "Why didn’t you stay longer? Wasn’t he supposed to accompany you for half a year?"
