Just as she was feeling anxious and confused, two knocks sounded behind her, startling her with a tremor.

Stunned for a mont, she stamred to the person outside the door, "W-what are you doing?"

Qin Feimo didn’t understand her panic; in that instant, he rely thought she was coming out to retrieve sothing, much like himself at this mont, wanting to co in to get the charger since his laptop battery had died.

"Getting sothing." He calmly replied three words through the door.

Behind the door, Feng Jinglei was stunned for a few seconds, realizing he was just retrieving sothing, and naturally had no reason not to open the door.

Taking a deep breath to calm her frantic heart, she then opened the door.

She then took a big step back, lowered her head, and made way for Qin Feimo.

As Qin Feimo entered, he glanced at her slightly lowered face but didn’t think much of it, heading straight to the bedside table to grab the charger, not lingering for even a second more before turning and leaving the bedroom.
