For Jeming, who was dedicated to building his own Dao foundation, a hundred years was but a fleeting mont.

Yet, during these years, his Purgatory Sulfur Plane underwent earth-shaking transformations.

From an outside view of the plane, the entire Purgatory Sulfur Plane had transford into a striking red.

This was the nearly never-extinguishing sea of hot lava that covered almost the entire Purgatory Sulfur Plane surface.

With the energy supply from the Level 7 Large Elental Pool, even the slightest overflow of energy caused the surface rocks of the Purgatory Sulfur Plane to completely lt.

In this rolling red purgatory, sporadically dispersed were so constantly moving, changing black "islands."

These were not actual lands; rather, they were the habitation for Black Giant communities.

Black Giants have an innate ability to absorb external heat. When many Black Giants gather at one place for a long ti, their combined effect can cool and solidify the surrounding hot magma, forming temporary black rocky lands.

Driven by their natural attraction to high-energy environnts, Black Giant communities continually migrate towards hotter regions.

Once they leave, the black "islands," having lost the continual heat absorption, would soon be lted and engulfed by the surrounding magma.

After hundreds of years of thriving, the Black Giant population has approached a staggering six billion.

Even if they disperse into tribes of different sizes, their massive scale significantly impacts the local environnt.

A new ecosystem revolving around the Black Giant communities gradually ford: apart from those peculiar Magical Beasts born with the ability to live in lava, many other types of Magical Beasts have adapted to follow the migration of Black Giants, and the Black Giants have also managed to dosticate a batch of heat-resistant Magical Beasts as "livestock."

More importantly, these Elental Lives, under Jeming’s deliberate influence and their own developnt, have nurtured the spark of primitive civilization—they have established fixed ritual activities and even ford simple festive "customs."

Jeming observed one of the large Black Giant tribes through surveillance arrays scattered throughout the plane.

Under the leadership of a Fifth Level Black Giant Chief, they completed a grand ritual filled with primitive power.

He then checked the array connected to the core of the Incense Fire Divine Dao next to him, showing that the collection of Power of Incense was stable and efficient, with other facilities operating smoothly.

"Hmm, incense collection is running smoothly, all basic aspects have been solidified, we can proceed to the next step of core rune embedding." Jeming nodded in satisfaction.

He calculated the ti, and the mandatory rest period shown on the Magic Network Terminal had less than fifty years remaining.

"The timing should work out, with good luck, there might be so spare ti to study space-related knowledge..." He was planning, when the communicator he carried sounded.

It was a ssage from Viola, as concise as ever: "Open the door! I’m here!"

Jeming shook his head helplessly, and with a thought, he returned to the underground laboratory of Golden Garden on Nolun 147 Plane through the spatial anchor point.

In the adjacent control room, he activated the teleportation array’s reception permission.

A flash of light, and Viola’s figure appeared.

But this ti, she wasn’t alone; trailing behind her was a slightly nervous young male wizard.

Jeming felt the young man was sowhat familiar, blinked, and quickly retrieved related information from his mory bank—it was the new apprentice that Professor Clark had recently taken in.

"We’ve arrived!" Viola swung her signature silver-gray long hair, striding out of the teleportation array boldly.

Jeming noted that this ti she didn’t carry the junior apprentice like luggage, but let him walk down by himself.

Knowing well Viola’s ill-tempered nature, Jeming imdiately understood: It seems this apprentice is recognized by her as a genius as well.

"Did you miss , junior?"

Viola greeted familiarly, casually pulling a clump of flowing active tal from the ground, shaping it into a chair, and sat down comfortably.

Jeming ignored her intention, turned his gaze towards the young apprentice, and spoke in a calm tone: "Hello, or rather, long ti no see. I rember your na is... Anger, right?"

Anger did not expect this legendary senior, rumored to have left the academy long ago, would rember his na. His face showed a trace of being flattered and honored, and he nodded respectfully in reply: "Yes, Jeming Senior! Hello!"

Jeming sensed the other’s spiritual power fluctuations, stable and refined, already constructed into the Ring of Truth, indicating he was now an official wizard.

This was natural; so many years had passed, this junior Anger must have completed his mandatory service period by now.

Viola moved closer, cheerfully interjecting: "Junior Anger is also an impressive genius, oh! But of course..."

She dragged her tone, giving Jeming a sly look: "Not as abnormal as you were back then."

Jeming remained expressionless, reaching out to press Viola’s face as she approached, and slightly pushed her back.

Seeing Anger’s sowhat dumbfounded expression, he explained: "Don’t be surprised, this guy’s elegance in front of others is all a disguise. You’ll know once you get to know her, she’s actually quite ill-tempered."

"Hey! Jeming! You’re slandering! A blatant slander of my perfect reputation!" protested Viola beside them.

Jeming glanced at her, letting out a cold laugh.

He really wanted to tell Anger, except the involved laws are quite private matters for every wizard, that this senior master’s core law was "Pain," inherently enjoying watching others "in pain" as a potential deviant.

However, considering the years of relationship, he decided to leave Viola so face in front of the newcor.

So he continued to Anger: "However, in real danger, she’s quite reliable. If you encounter trouble on the battlefield or in research, you might try relying on her."

After a simple greeting, Jeming manipulated the active tal on the floor to flow, condense into an exquisite table, and three chairs, gesturing Anger to sit.

He then waved his hand, and a nearby silver tallic doll brought over a tray of variously shaped plant fruits, emanating faint energy fluctuations.

Jeming looked directly at Viola, who had already skillfully grabbed one of the round fruits and took a bite without any reservations, asking directly: "What’s the matter today?"

Viola, chewing the sweet and juicy fruit pulp, answered indistinctly: "Nothing major. My mandatory rest ti is almost up, in a dozen years I’ll have to report to the second-line battlefield, so I ca over to greet you. Incidentally, you get to know junior Anger."

She swallowed the pulp, turned to Anger and said: "In the future, if you encounter any trouble that you can’t solve in the academy or outside, you can look for him. Most things, he can handle."

Her words implied certainty, without any intention of consulting Jeming’s opinion.

Jeming didn’t dispute, only nodding slightly to Anger, which tacitly endorsed this "entrustnt."

Then, sowhat puzzled, he asked Viola: "I rember your rest period shouldn’t be less than a millennium, right? How is it ending so soon?"

Given Viola’s status as a Sixth Level Wizard, according to Wizard Civilization’s conventional rules, each mandatory rest period following Plane Wars typically lasts over four thousand years.

At this mont... It seed too soon.

While speaking, Jeming picked from the fruit platter a section looking like brown tree root but emitting a cool breath, handing it to Anger: "You might want to try this. The energy and trace toxins in the other fruits might be a bit excessive for you right now."

Viola raised her chin proudly and explained: "Hehe, I’m now part of the ’Elite Combat Unit!’ Enjoying High Tier Wizard treatnt, I can actively apply to shorten the mandatory rest period. I also exchanged so free ti with accumulated High Tier Military rits, so I can go back to the battlefield so soon."

Seeing a hint of surprise in Jeming’s eyes, Viola pouted, looking displeased as if he underestimated her:

"Hey, what’s that look? The Elite Combat Unit is established to attract talented wizards from all over. Passing the elite trial at the workshop is one way, and for soone like , with extraordinary talent and remarkable achievents, it’s only natural for them to proactively invite, right?"

Jeming didn’t argue against this.

After all, apart from her twisted personality, this senior Viola’s talent and strength on the wizard’s path are indeed unquestionable.

Being included in the Elite Combat Unit is well-deserved.
