"The Supre Ancestor showing up before the Supre Ruler, huh? This feels backwards for so reason," Yuan muttered as he narrowed his gaze at the human-looking Supre Ancestor.
"So he's the one responsible for annihilating the Demon Sealers…"
Supre Ruler Dena sensed a hint on killing intent within his voice and asked, "Do you want to take care of him? I'll let you have him."
However, Yuan shook his head and said, "No, it's fine. You can deal with him."
anwhile, the Supre Ancestor moved to the front and approached Supre Ruler Dena.
"This is your last chance to back down, you fiend," he said to her in a cold voice.
But despite his tough-looking appearance, he was actually screaming inwardly, feeling absolutely terrified of her presence.
Although he had once been the Supre Ruler, not all Supre Rulers were created equal. Supre Ruler Dena was widely acknowledged as the strongest in history for a reason, and she had earned that title without ever revealing her transformation, which was several tis more powerful than anything others had witnessed.
If he had the choice, he would have remained in seclusion and avoided making an appearance altogether. Unfortunately, as the Supre Ancestor, he had a reputation he could not afford to ignore, and his absence would tarnish it.
However, Supre Ruler Dena ignored him and asked, "I heard you were responsible for killing all of the Demon Sealers. Why did you do such a thing?"
"Isn't it obvious?" the Supre Ancestor replied. "Demon Sealers wield power that preys on our kind and is a direct insult to the Demon God, our creator."
"I don't see how it insults the Demon God," Supre Ruler Dena said, shaking her head. "If anything, it's a marvelous power that deserves respect, not scorn. No one's managed to recreate anything like it, even after all this ti."
"Why the hell would anyone even try to recreate such a power?" The Supre Ancestor sneered in disdain.
"Because it's highly effective, and we're essentially powerless against it. Who wouldn't want such overwhelming power that would make them near untouchable? I bet if given the chance, most would jump at the opportunity to learn Demon Sealing Aura. Unfortunately, only very few people can learn it, much less wield it."
A cold smile suddenly appeared on Supre Ruler Dena's face as she continued, "Are you sure you didn't annihilate them out of jealousy because you weren't able to learn it yourself?"
The Supre Ancestor trembled at her words and accusation.
"That's a baseless accusation! Nothing but slander!" he shouted in an enraged voice, his face flushed with redness.
"You're pretty terrible at controlling your emotions for soone who used to be a Supre Ruler. No wonder you couldn't restrain your jealousy and killed them."
The Supre Ancestor trembled nonstop, fists clenched so tightly that blood dripped from his knuckles. Yet even as rage pushed him to the brink, he didn't dare attack Supre Ruler Dena.
Supre Ruler Dena sighed, "I think it's pretty obvious that none of you will be able to defeat , so let's not waste any ti or energy fighting."
After a brief pause, she added, "To be frank, since this is only my second ti in this form, I won't be able to control my strength properly, so there will be a lot of casualties if we fight."
Yuan then spoke up, "In fact, we ca here to speak with the Supre Ruler. You were the ones who set up this ambush and attacked us first."
"You…" The Supre Ancestor finally noticed Yuan and narrowed his eyes, finding his face strangely familiar for so reason. "Who the hell are you?"
"My na's Yuan, and I am just her livestock," Yuan introduced himself as Supre Ruler Dena's livestock.
"Her… livestock?" The Supre Ancestor repeated in a dumbfounded voice.
Eventually, he snapped out of his daze and said to Supre Ruler Dena, "Even if we cannot defeat you and will likely perish by your hands, we will not allow a fiend like you to exist outside the Deprived Crimson Valley!"
He raised his arm, pointing it straight at the sky.
"This is our final warning! Return to the Deprived Crimson Valley and stay there for an eternity, or face our wrath!"
"Then… all of you can die." Supre Ruler Dena calmly responded.
The Supre Ancestor gritted his teeth and started swinging his arm down, shouting, "Att—"
"Wait."
A calm voice suddenly resounded.
Hearing this voice, the Supre Ancestor imdiately closed his mouth and froze his movents.
"Supre Ruler!" The Supre Adviser nearly cried tears of joy after sensing his presence.
The next mont, a male figure descended from the sky, and all of the demons there lowered their heads to bow toward him.
Yuan narrowed his eyes at the newcor—a tall, muscular demon. Unlike the Supre Ancestor or the Supre Adviser, he bore no human resemblance. His skin was a dark gray, his eyes pitch black, and six black horns sat on his head like a jagged, demonic crown.
"All of you stand down and leave. There is no need for pointless deaths, and I alone will be more than enough to deal with her," said the Supre Ruler in a cold tone.
Heeding his commands, all of the demons, except the Supre Ancestor and the Supre Adviser, left the scene.
"This is our first ti eting, Ninth. I am the 14th Supre Ruler, Grant."
Supre Ruler Grant narrowed his gaze at her and continued, "I understand why you were called the strongest Supre Ruler in history. With such an overwhelming aura, you truly deserve such a title."
Despite Supre Ruler Dena's aura clearly surpassing his own, Supre Ruler Grant did not show any hint of worry on his face.
When the Supre Adviser noticed this, he wondered if Supre Ruler Grant had successfully contacted the Demon God and received so kind of guidance.
"If you're going to tell to return to the Deprived Crimson Valley, then you can save your breath," Supre Ruler Dena then said.
