During this duration, the Life Faction finally clashed with the Dead Faction and infiltrated the Great Cosmic Continent of Sagittarius. A great war between two mortal enemies has been started, and the entire Legendary Plains have their eyes on this war.
Another significant event that occurred during this ti was also related to this war, and it shocked the entire legendary plains.
Apparently, when the Dead Faction seed to be at a disadvantage, out of nowhere, the den of Star Pirates, the Evanesce Hub, with its overlord, the Champion King, ford an alliance with the Dead Faction and attacked the Life Faction!
No one expected the legendary Champion King to join an enemy faction and fight with his old organization and clan. This shocked those who were unaware of the inside story, and those who belonged to the life factions condemned the Champion King across the Star Network.
At this mont, 30% of the Dead Faction territories within the Sagittarius Continent were already conquered by the Life Faction. But because of the Evanesce Hub’s interference, the Life Faction’s conquest has slowed down, and it almost seed like the war might stop here.
While everyone was focusing on the Sagittarius Continent, far away from the battlefield, the Great Cosmic Continent of Scorpio was tranquil, especially ever since the matters of the Valley of Sunless Dusk had been settled.
The Myriad Galaxy Guardian Mountains have almost recovered to their previous grand state before the calamity of the Zodiac Beasts. The Myriad Galaxy City in the heart of this domain has regained its status as a hub of alchemists.
However, after the ’disappearance’ of the Myriad Galaxy King, a new Alchemist King now rules the Myriad Galaxy city, the Myriad Runic King, previously known as the Runic Lord, who is closely related to the Myriad Galaxy King.
The Runic Lord’s ascension to the Legendary King State was completely unexpected, but rumor has it that it has sothing to do with the Alchemy King Council. At this mont, behind this wall were the ruins of the Myriad Galaxy King’s workshop that everyone had been searching for, but to no avail.
Buried deep under these ruins was a hollow space where lay the body of the Myriad Galaxy King, which, despite the passage of decades, was still perfectly preserved, as if he were only in a deep sleep.
However, at this mont, a black, ethereal mist was seeping out of the Myriad Galaxy King’s nose, eyes, and mouth. As the ti passed, the black ethereal mist started to gather above Myriad Galaxy King’s head, forming a smooth ethereal cocoon!
As the ethereal cocoon solidified, dark light began to emanate from it, pulsing rhythmically like a heartbeat. As more ti passed, the dark pulse grew stronger, electrifying the air. It was clear that whatever was inside was about to break out!
Suddenly, at this mont, a sharp crack echoed in the silent hollow, then another. Spiderwebs of darkness spread across the smooth, obsidian surface of the cocoon until, with a final, explosive burst, it shattered, releasing a small shockwave!
Although this shockwave seed silent and without any power behind it, the Myriad Galaxy King’s body instantly suffered many fissures!
At that mont, from the shattered cocoon, an unsettling creature erged. Its appearance was like a newly born human child, but with a grotesquely miniaturized body.
Its body, no larger than two centiters, was composed of a slick, inky material that seed to absorb all light. Two spindly, segnted limbs, tipped with needle-sharp claws, twitched tentatively. Its head was dominated by a single, pulsating black eye, devoid of pupil or iris, scanning the hollow space, its gaze sohow conveying both chilling intelligence and a rabid hunger.
As the creature flexed its limbs and let out a silent, high-pitched chirp, a primal thrill coursed through its abyss-like eye.
The mont the creature was born, the skies of the Legendary Plains suddenly turned chaotic, drawing everyone’s attention, but no one knew the reason behind this phenonon.
However, the truth was that a Fantastic Insect, ranked 18th in the entire Fantastic Insect Race called the Eclipse Alipes Imhoff, also known as the Brain Hunter, had completed its evolution to the Legendary Rank, triggering a terrifying phenonon not only in the entire Legendary Plains but also within the Lower Plains and in a specific location of the Upper Plains.
