Jacob appeared right where the Soulless Palace used to be, but now there was nothing but ruin of this majestic ghost palace. Furthermore, the once dense negative energy in the air was extrely thin.
Jacob was slightly surprised as he wasn't expecting the negative energy, the symbol of the ghost domain, to be affected once the seal was destroyed.
Furthermore, Jacob spread his soul sense and found no trace of living or dead. With a thought, he vanished from the ruin of the soulless palace and appeared in the sky.
'Not only the Soulless Palace but all the ghosts living in it should've perished. Furthermore, from Specin-1 information and knowing Soulless, it thinks this entire Soul Abyss was probably built to annihilate the whole Ghost Domain once Soulless was freed from its restriction.
'However, I appeared and ruined everything, and instead of the entire Ghost Race, only the center point got destroyed, and damage stopped at just the Soulless Palace. Tsk, they should be grateful to , but again, I'm also planning to kill remaining legendary rank ghosts, so it works out in my favor…'
Right at this mont, Jacob's static cursed heart suddenly pulsed in alarm; not only that, but the Cursed Path Glory Gem suddenly started emitting fluctuations.
But it wasn't all as sothing even more absurd happened the very next mont: his Infinity Pendant, which had never moved away from his neck ever since he wore it unless he moved it on his own, suddenly lifted and pulled towards the east direction!
It was as if sothing was attracting it. The attraction force behind it was weak, but it was enough to create a pull!
Jacob's mind went blank for a mont because of this sudden turn of events before only a single na flashed past his mind.
What could've caused his Cursed Heart to beat on its own in excitent? What could've caused the Cursed Path Glory Gem to show such a reaction? And what could have made his Infinity Pedant move on its own and attract it?!
'L-Longevity Path Glory Gem!??'
After a very long ti, Jacob experienced a mind-blowing shock, and he was incredulous. At a ti like this, he could only think about the Longevity Path Glory Gem because he had no idea what else could attract the Infinity Pedant.
Furthermore, Immortika had already hinted at this and told him about the special characteristics of the Universal Godly Scriptures and their relationship with their Universal Godly Artifacts!
'How is that possible?! Wasn't the longevity path glory gem with soone extrely powerful, and even a wish to get it back would cost hundreds of millions of years of lifespan?

A sudden scene played in his head: Out of nowhere, the space where he was hovering suddenly collapsed. Then, that collapsed space turned into a jaw with endless suction force, and he, without even any power to resist, was dragged into the endless void!
Jacob's vision suddenly returned to normal, but his eyes flickered furiously. He had experienced sothing like this before, and he knew exactly what had happened.
'Mortal Danger Sense!'
Jacob knew he had just triggered the Mortal Danger Sense. After he beca a Quasi-Myth, the Mortal Danger Sense also beca powerful, just like his other abilities, and it can now show Jacob's death 3 seconds prior instead of 2 seconds.
Although it might seem insignificant, for Legendary King State beings, just a fragnt of a second could be the difference between life and death.
However, what was even more terrifying was that a Quasi-Myth like Jacob, who had thirteen law totems with law abilities, powerful aspects, and most importantly, the Undying Giant Will, had seen his death or sothing even worse than death!
Other than Mythical Kings, Jacob knew only a handful of things in the Legendary Plains could push him to use all of his trump cards, much less kill him without even giving him a chance to react!
Then, the sudden reactions of his cursed heart and infinity pendant flashed past his mind, and after a very long ti, a terror rose in his heart. He knew he was in terrible danger.
Without any hesitation, Jacob tries to enter the Infinite Space. At this mont, he realizes he can't because the Infinity Pendant isn't reacting to his will anymore. It was like the Infinity Pendant deed the source of attraction more important than Jacob's command!
Jacob trembled, but he knew he only had a second before the future of his death beca real. He didn't care anymore and instantly used the Phase Shift of Astral Transcendence!
The first thing he wanted was to move away from the spot where the ambush started, and with the Phase Shift, he could easily shift between spaces and lights.
Just as Jacob turned into a flash of light and vanished, the space where he was standing instantly collapsed. If he were a little bit slower, he would've experienced the exact sa thing shown in his vision of death.
"Ahh, you really have evolved beyond my expectation…Cursed One!" An indistinctive suddenly drifted in the void behind the collapsed space as a burry purple eye ford before vanishing!
Jacob successfully avoided the calamity with the space shift, but he wasn't calm at all because his infinity pedant was still in that strange state. He was about to take out the space travesty shuttle when his mind went black again, and another vision of death played.
The mont clarity returned to his eyes, Jacob knew he would be too slow to escape with the shuttle. Whatever was hunting him was terrifying, and he had just escaped its attack before it launched another deadly one without wasting any ti!
Jacob could now think of only two options. One involved using an extrely precious treasure, while the other…
