In the heart of the Evil Domain, the Demonic Fiend Fortress, the Fiend Race's stronghold, stood like a majestic volcano. Carved from elental volcanic stone, it radiated a fiery crimson glow, and its runic craftsmanship made it seem alive.
Today, the Demonic Fiend Fortress was enshrouded in solemn silence, and deadly killing intent was palpable in the air. The reason was simple: countless Fiends gathered at the fortress's entrance with all kinds of war weapons and mounts.
Not only that but even outside the fortress, the subordinary races of the Evil Domain had been gathering, waiting for the Fiends' command. It was a terrifying army representing over 30% might of the Dark Beings residing in the Great Cosmic Continent of Sagittarius!
They had been preparing for this day for so ti. Today was the day of departure, and their target…
"Today is the day we'll trample on the cowards of the Ghost Domain and offer them to the Demon God Altar!" A deep, guttural voice reverberated throughout the Dominic Fiend Fortress.
"Glory to Demon God Altar!"
"Glory to Demons!"
"Glory to the Fiends!"
The entire Fiend Army collectively chanted, shaking the whole fortress, and their solemn voices filled with killing intent could be heard from a long distance; the morals were boiling.
The Fiends were warmongers and battle-driven races; they fought even among themselves to get recognition from the Demon God Altar. They can even challenge a Fiend King for their position and status as long as the Demon God Altar acknowledges them; even the Underwood Fiend King could be overthrown from his position.
The most terrifying aspect of the Fiend Race was probably their ability to grow in deadly battles. The more they fought, the more threatening they beca, and their innate traits were only slightly lacking compared to those of the War Giants.
Usually, the Dead Faction is not allowed to wage war on the races that were part of the Accord of Dead. However, they can do anything they want to those Dark Beings organizations that refused to join the Dead Faction and signed the Accord of Dead.
That's how the Dead Faction grew and spread through the Legendary Plains, and the Fiend Race was one of the main spearheads to conquer those 'disobedient' races.
Since the Dead Faction was the strongest power and one of the three absolute factions, any resistance was aningless unless a power or faction like Venomous Royale or Evanesce Hub erged.
Furthermore, many unknown elental planets and galaxies are scattered throughout the vast Legendary Plains, and unknown species with strange powers inhabit them.
Anyhow, now the Ghost Race had been kicked out of the Accord of Dead after the Soulless Ghost King blunder. Then, the destruction of the Soulless Palace left the Ghost Domain deteriorating; the Fiends were given the green signal to do as they pleased as long as they left behind enough Ghosts.
The Fiends were naturally the quickest to mobilize their forces while the Vampires were still busy making battle plains. After all, there were still the Giant Ghost King and Shadow Ghost King in the Ghost Domain, and the Soulless Ghost King and Soul Ghost King's weren't confird dead.
But the Fiends can match the forces of the Ghost Domain. After all, the top three races of the Dead Factions were almost equal in power, and now the Ghost Domain had suddenly weakened with the destruction of the Soulless Palace, so it gave the Fiends a huge advantage, especially if the Soulless Ghost King or Soul Ghost King had died in the Soulless Palace.
The Underwood Fiend King even speculated that the Soulless Palace's destruction was probably the result of a deadly battle between the Soulless Ghost King and Soul Ghost King.
At this mont, the tall and imposing Underwood Fiend King, draped in his dark, spiked armor that seed to ld with his fiery red skin, stood at the highest point of the Demonic Fiend Fortress, emitting an oppressive might and killing intent from his body.
Besides, the Underwood Fiend King were three more Fiends, equally nacingly, and since they could stand together with him, they were also Fiend Kings of the Fiend Race.
The amber light in the Underwood's eyes flickered with ecstasy as he looked at the highly mortal fiends. He was the one who had just spoken, and he liked the reaction of his army.
At this mont, Underwood suddenly turned his head and looked at one of the Fiend Kings clad in full-body pitch-black armor with a skeletal crown on his head.
"You waste so much ti only to return with nothing in the end? Black King, you should've sought out. After all, we are one big family despite our differences."
Underwood sounded like he was very disappointed and hurt, yet his tone lacked any kindness or compassion. If anything, it was apparent mockery, and the other Fiend Kings knew it and even smiled in derision as they glanced at the Black King.
They all knew about the recent developnt of the trackers who were tracking the elusive Throne of Death, and the Black King was one of them. But in the end, the Champion King suddenly ca out of nowhere and started to kill and plunder indiscriminately like a mad dog.
If it was anything else, they could've banded together, but the Champion King, only the Faction Leader level character, can rival him, and even then, they couldn't win in one or one fight unless they stake their life on the line.
Most importantly, the War Giants, who called themselves the strongest race of the Legendary Plains, fled just after hearing his na.
But these trackers still beca greedy and ended up overestimating themselves, and as a result, three Tier-3 Legendary Kings, ten Tier-1 and Tier-1 Legendary Kings were killed, and almost everyone else suffered grave law injuries.
Black King was still lucky, and he instantly fled the mont he realized the terror of the Champion King. Only soone like Underwood could probably match the Champion King while being close to the Demon God Altar.
Underwood had over a 60% chance of losing if he clashed with the Champion King outside the Evil Domain. Even if he used everything, he could only flee.
The most unlucky one was the Spirit Poison King because the Champion King's target from the start was him, and Spirit Poison King was a nace that no faction wanted to deal with, yet the Champion King seed to have gone mad and used everything to capture him.
In the end, these trackers had no choice but to return to their layers since the Throne of Death had vanished again, and there were no more clues while the Alchemy Guild and the Life Faction were hot on their tails, and the Champion King gave them just the opportunity they were waiting for in a silver platter.
But Black King had never imagined that the mont he returned, he would be dragged into this war with the Ghost Domain. Upon learning the inside information, he was astounded.
Furthermore, since the entire fiend race was participating, he couldn't leave unless he wanted his prestige to wane and appear weak, giving the Fiends a chance to challenge him.
It was also a chance to earn back so face, not to ntion that he hadn't forgotten the incident with the Soulless Ghost King in the Myriad Galaxy Palace.
Even to this day, Black King and Shadowless King still suspect the Soulless Ghost King to be the one who was behind the disappearance of the Myriad Galaxy King, and that girl that he took might be another clue.
They even secretly spread this news among the other tracks. Spirit Poison King planned to secretly sche against the Soulless Ghost King if they didn't find any other clues. But who would've thought that the Champion King would appear and ruin everything?
Yet now, Black King had another chance, and with all the suspicious activities surrounding the Soulless Ghost King after he returned from the Myriad Galaxy Palace, Black King was sure that the Soulless Ghost King was hiding a big secret!
But Black King would never reveal this to the other Fiend Kings, especially not to Underwood, so he endured their ridicule while secretly mocking them as he was determined to unravel the Soulless Ghost King's secret!
