Getting through the first Monster Party didn't an they could afford to lower their guard. The healers were drenched in sweat, continuously casting spells to cure the poison. The Mages unleashed their full firepower, obliterating the monsters flooding the area.

However, the terrain of the Insect Nest was far too chaotic. Countless tunnels seed to honeycomb the surroundings, and the slightest lapse in attention allowed monsters to crawl out from the periphery. The mini-map was struggling to keep up; the monsters marked in the overhead view were clustered into massive, overlapping swarms, offering not even a mont of respite. Even when they slaughtered every monster in sight, the red dots on the map stubbornly remained.

Without a doubt, it wasn't that Lucian's Ga Board had malfunctioned, but rather that these creatures were hiding within the deep caverns in the Dungeon's walls. From the 59th floor onward, this entire level was the realm of the Insect Nest, crawling with monsters at every turn.

Instead of dealing with this, it'd probably be easier to just flatten the entire map, Lucian muttered.

He didn't intervene much. After all, he had accumulated enough Excellia, so he only offered a helping hand during ergencies. Thanks to the Party Function, a portion of the Origin from the monsters slain by the two great Familias was absorbed by Lucian, while the adventurers themselves still gained combat experience and grew stronger. It was a win-win~

The others didn't voice any complaints. After all, in the Heroic Epics, many heroes who wielded Spirit Armants to unleash transcendent power were burning their own lifeforce to do so. Thus, it was perfectly normal for Lucian to reserve this power only for critical monts.

"Although I can do that, nobody knows what might happen if we cause massive structural damage to the Dungeon," Alfia spoke up.

"Actually, I do know about that..." Lucian replied. "If more than twenty percent of a single floor's structure is destroyed, it triggers the Dungeon's wail, spawning a special type of monster. It's a monster born from the Dungeon's self-defense chanism, acting much like a white blood cell in a human body. It's called the Juggernaut. If it were to spawn on this floor, its speed would rival your current full-power state. It possesses armor capable of reflecting magic, along with blades that cannot be defended against."

Alfia paused upon hearing this, surprised. She hadn't expected Lucian to know such classified information. After a mont of thought, she said, "If an expedition force encountered it without any prior intelligence, they would likely be instantly annihilated."

"I think we should give it a try once we reach the safe zone," Lucian said with a completely straight face.

Alfia, much like Bell, possessed the Limit Off ability, allowing her attributes to break past the S999 cap—especially her Agility and Dexterity. Because of this, after sealing her negative skills, Alfia's base state could reach Level 9, and her magical burst power was enough to slay the Level 10 Leviathan.

Zald's base state was at the absolute peak of Level 7, but his true burst power ca from his unique skill. The stronger the monster he consud, the more his strength skyrocketed. His burst capabilities easily surpassed even the Empress and the Champion. Although those two were higher in level, they lacked such explosive, rare skills, relying instead on conventional combat power.

With humanity's absolute strongest forming a party, combined with prior knowledge of the enemy's abilities, even the Juggernaut could be subjugated. More importantly, slaying it would grant a massive amount of Excellia. Lucian was particularly looking forward to the Juggernaut's "blades," hoping the monster would drop them as materials upon defeat.

"That is indeed a solid suggestion."

"Gospel."

Alfia obliterated a swarm of bugs, a look of utter disgust crossing her face. She absolutely despised the Insect Nest. It was repulsive, and no matter how many monsters they killed, there was always an endless tide waiting to take their place.

The terrain was vast and complex, which was why the expedition progress of the two great Familias had only reached the 71st floor. Thankfully, with Lucian's magic, they could safely continue their advance and map out the area. Following their original planned route, the Familia alliance pushed forward.

Their pace was much slower than usual, but Lucian was grinding experience at an unprecedented rate. Even the smaller insect monsters were incredibly high level. From the 69th floor down, the potential threat level was designated as Level 7. This ant that even in a party, adventurers needed to be at least Level 7 to survive here. Supporters and healers weren't counted as direct combatants, allowing lower-level adventurers to participate, but not in direct combat.

Before they even reached the boss room, Lucian's attributes had completely maxed out, a deep sense of absolute fulfillnt surging through his body.

All stats at S999, and I have enough Excellia. I can start my limit break now, Lucian thought to himself.

He subsequently activated his skill—Hero's Aptitude!

This was a skill Lucian had created by mimicking Bell's Argonaut, and it was the skill used to shatter his limits. It didn't just break his personal limits; it bypassed the absolute limits of the Falna itself. The absolute cap for any Falna stat was S999. Lucian had configured the "Activate at Will" thod, shattering both his individual and the divine grace's ceiling.

There was no special sensation; the previous feeling of fullness rely dissipated considerably, leaving behind a new, empty space. After all, raising the ceiling of base stats was entirely different from a Level Up. Leveling up was an elevation of body and soul, akin to a leap in energy tier.

"I estimate I can break the cap one more ti." Lucian estimated his own limits using his magic.

They ran into several more Monster Parties next, and by the ti they arrived at the doors of the boss room, Lucian had already successfully completed his second limit break.

"Except for Luck, everything else is completely maxed out."

Vitality, ntal Power Reserve, Hidden Ability Paraters, Potential, Calculation Power, Luck, Physical Resistance, Magic Resistance, Abnormal Resistance.

Now, although his life tier hadn't yet elevated, his base paraters were already vastly more luxurious than the original protagonist, Bell Cranel. Among them, the "Hidden Ability Paraters" represented Lucian's data from before he beca an adventurer. Upon becoming an adventurer, or after leveling up, past attributes would conceptually reset to zero, converting this portion of data into hidden ability paraters.

My base state alone is equivalent to a peak Level 2. That's already ga-breaking, Lucian murmured internally. The price of breaking limits isn't simple, though. I've completely drained the Excellia I accumulated.

After his second limit break, he was unable to et the conditions to level up—the reason being that his Excellia was insufficient. An adventurer's level was primarily composed of two parts. One part was "Basic Abilities," aning the raw nurical stats. The other part was "Excellia," which functioned similarly to experience points.

However, the experience points for ordinary adventurers were different from Lucian's. Lucian's experience was "Origin", while Excellia was derived from "experiences." In a way, it was akin to a degraded version of the Spirit Status from Problem Children Are Coming from Another World, Aren't They?.

The accumulation of Excellia scaled with the strength of the opponent and the severity of the crisis. The stronger the foe defeated or the greater the hardship overco, the more Excellia was earned. Simply put, the core concept was "overcoming adversity" and "surpassing limits." But where along the way had Lucian actually encountered any hardship...

Even so, because Excellia was distributed among the team according to specific rules, and Lucian's support abilities had provided trendous convenience to the two great Familias, he had passively accumulated a substantial amount of Excellia—easily enough to level up twice.

However—both limit breaks consud Excellia directly, a cost that his usual experience points couldn't substitute. And right now, he had just arrived at the boss room's doors.

"Looks like I'll have to participate in this boss subjugation battle and carve out a share of the Excellia." Lucian couldn't help but marvel at the clever design of fate.

Perhaps the world itself wanted to see his performance as well. But near-death, blood-pumping battles to the bitter end just weren't suited for him. Landing an assist would be more than enough.

Lucian looked ahead. The previously cramped and complex tunnel suddenly opened up, revealing an incredibly massive space. A colossal monster rested peacefully on the ground. Potential threat level Level 9. The Monster Rex of the 69th floor.

Hethonia.
