Unfortunately, Zhou family’s pristine reputation was marred by the presence of a single black rman -- Zhou Guiying, Zhou Guizheng’s skirt chaser of a younger brother.
Yet, a spark of goodness resided within every soul in the Heavenly Realm.
And so Zhou Guiying’s repulsive talent in bedding ogas without impregnating them proved useful to Jiang Muchen at this very mont.
Unfortunately, a single problem persisted.
Despite being alphas of the sa generation, Jiang Muchen and Zhou Guiying did not share the sa social circle.
Jiang Muchen’s social circle consisted of the elite elental guardians and the high-ranking officials that frequented the Golden Dragon Palace daily.

He couldn’t just hit Zhou Guiying up with a, "So Zhou Guiying, what kind of tricks do you hide in your sleeves? How can you bed so many ogas without having your ass dragged to the court for siring illegitimate babies?"
He determined that a more prudent course of action would be to conduct a rigorous interrogation under the auspices of the Golden Dragon Palace, preferably sowhere above the clouds.
He did not feel good doing so underwater.
"Zhou Guiying, we have received reports regarding your misconduct across the realm. Kindly follow to the Golden Dragon Palace."
Zhou Guiying, who was sitting in a lotus position while cradling a mysterious object that shimred with an otherworldly light, gave Jiang Muchen an indifferent look.
"Really."
He craned his neck to the sides, as if trying to banish the tension in his neck muscles.
"And where is the imperial decree to summon ?"
"..."
Gulp.
Why didn’t he think about drafting a fake decree, again???
"Uh, it is an oral summon. It doesn’t require a decree."
"Oho."
Amusent spread across Zhou Guiying’s face as he observed Jiang Muchen’s expression attentively.
"At the very least, you should be able to tell what kind of misconduct we are talking about here."
"Your indecent escapades throughout the years, of course," Jiang Muchen snapped.
"Which oga raised a complaint?"
"You will find out as soon as you follow back to the palace," Jiang Muchen secretly patted himself on the back for his quick thinking.
"Now, I cannot do that," Zhou Guiying responded with a sigh. "Unless, Shuiran Palace Master, you would like to go to prison for murder charges."
Jiang Muchen was naturally taken aback by the other alpha’s words.
"What murder charges?"
In response, Zhou Guiying leaned both arms on top of the mysterious object he was cradling.
"Is it not apparent? I am brooding my egg. If I leave it alone or take it above water with , the baby rmaid inside will lose its life."
Jiang Muchen’s jaw fell slack in amazent.
"You what???" He sputtered in disbelief as he stared at the gigantic egg on Zhou Guiying’s lap.
"You are brooding an egg??? That is an egg???"
Certainly, it looked a lot like an egg.
The biggest egg Jiang Muchen had ever seen.

Jiang Muchen’s assumption had always been that rmaids, like humans, gave birth to live young, not laid eggs.
Apparently, he was sorely mistaken. But what about rd brooding eggs? It simply didn’t make sense!
"Where is Shi Qing... I an, your wife?"
"My wife?"
Zhou Guiying raised both arms above his head and stretched his back from side to side.
"She is taking care of our four children."

Four children!
Four!
Five if he counted the egg as a child!
He never thought that Shi Qingyue, his childhood friend, would one day lay Zhou Guiying’s eggs.
And five tis, to boot!!!
Wow, they must love each other dearly.
"So yeah."
Zhou Guiying flashed Jiang Muchen a broad, winning grin.
"Honestly, Shuiran Palace Master, I haven’t been above the water surface for the past five years. A rmaid egg takes a year sothing to hatch.
That being said, I haven’t slept with any oga other than my wife these past few years."

Oops.
Zhou Guiying cocked his head to the side and sneered at his ashad guest.
"What about we pretend this conversation never happened and you just tell frankly, what business do you have with ?"

Sigh.
His luck had vanished as if swallowed by a bottomless well since he beca involved with Liu Chengjiu.
He wasn’t even able to maintain face in front of Zhou Guiying.
Truly, he could not be more unfortunate!
The thought barely crossed his mind when suddenly, the egg in Zhou Guiying’s lap made a distinct cracking sound.
"Oh?"
Eyes wide in shock, Jiang Muchen’s eyes shifted toward the egg.
On the other hand, Zhou Guiying turned positively pale.
"It can’t be," he murmured while rubbing the pearly surface of the egg in a careful manner.
"What can’t be???" Jiang Muchen frantically asked.
"It is not supposed to hatch until one more month has passed," Zhou Guiying murmured.
"The presence of an unknown alpha’s pheromones might have disrupted its growth, prompting it to hatch early."
Now Jiang Muchen’s face also assud the color of a curdled milk.
"W-w-what can I do to help???"
Zhou Guiying gave him a look laced with endless misery.
"What else can you do?" He sighed. "My baby is coming too early to the world due to your interference. If sothing happens to it, Shuiran Palace Master, I will be the one who personally drag you before the Heavenly Emperor!"
"...!!!"
More cracking ensued, and the gigantic egg finally fell apart.
