The forr was the blessing of the wind, which allowed Ais to fight far beyond her level. At level 6, it granted her paraters capable of rivaling the level 7 ottar.
The latter was a buff as well as a debuff that nullified incoming spells. Even Alfia's own spells would get weakened if cast while it was active.
Sion intended to perfect his flight spell by incorporating enchantnt properties, so he needed to observe the foundational effects of this specific type of spell up close.
Enchantnt spells were exceptionally rare. He'd been harboring this idea for a while, and he only brought it up now because Alfia technically owed him.
Given the circumstances, it was impossible for her to refuse Sion's small request.

After looking at Sion, Alfia activated her magic.

In truth, she had almost gotten used to holding hands with Sion during her treatnts and they had developed a considerable tacit understanding during their exchanges.
