Several more days passed.
During this ti, Sion learned of the final strategic decisions made by the Zeus and Hera familias.
The campaign to exterminate the black dragon would proceed but this ti, they would be fully prepared. They were treating it as a tactical probing operation, ensuring they had a guaranteed room for retreat.
Sion fully supported this. There was a massive difference between a reckless crusade and a calculated tactical strike.
With this shift in strategy, the probability of the two major familias preserving their core fighting force was actually high.
But before any expedition could launch, both the Zeus and Hera familias needed to learn flight spell.
The executives of the Hera familia would eventually teach the Zeus familia, so Sion only needed to instruct the girls. As a result, Sion spent a great deal of ti interacting with them.
anwhile, the entire familia was practically throwing a festival to celebrate teria's recovery, with so executives even aggressively suggesting they hold the wedding imdiately.
During this festive chaos, Hera seriously considered whether she should officially grant Sion her Falna.
Although the Hera familia strictly forbade male mbers, making a single exception for her daughter's savior was hardly an issue.
At the very least, she couldn't allow a talent like Sion to fall into the hands of the Zeus Familia.
Although the two Familias shared a deep, unbreakable bond, they had to outwardly maintain a facade of intense rivalry. This was naturally because Zeus was an incorrigible lecher and Hera was a notoriously jealous yandere.
Their explosive quarrels had beco a daily tradition, to the point that the entire tenkai knew about it.
It was this exact dynamic that caused the infamous incident where Zeus sent Hera to invite Freya to join their alliance.
Predictably, Hera and Freya ended up in a massive war, causing Freya to lose many of her followers and forging a bitter, lasting grudge between the two Goddesses.
And the root cause? Zeus had set his lustful sights on Freya.
With their deities acting like this, the followers could only sigh and play along.
After all, no matter how nicely it was frad, familia mbers were fundantally the private property of the gods.
While Falna was a catalyst that rapidly accelerated human growth and the physical paraters gained would not necessarily vanish if the Falna was locked.
A deity could seal a Falna with a single thought. Even a level 9 could be reduced to the powerlessness of an ordinary civilian in the blink of an eye.
This chanism ensured the gods remained at the absolute apex of the hierarchy, completely preventing any mortals from entertaining thoughts of overthrowing their divine patrons.
"I wonder what Hera will decide," Sion murmured to himself.
---
Hera had intended to grant Sion her falna, but she abandoned the idea.
The Hera familia was massive and given Sion's talent and potential, he'd inevitably need to update his status constantly to keep up with his growth.
But Hera couldn't risk keeping him so close.
His gentle personality and magic talent had already attracted the intense gaze of far too many girls in just a few short days.
Given enough ti, the entire main force of the Hera familia might develop romantic feelings for him. A scenario Hera could not tolerate.
It was one thing to have him here, but if he accidentally built a harem out of her precious daughters... it would be a miracle if she didn't smite him where he stood.
"So tired," Sion groaned, stretching his stiff back.
He had been staying at the familia estate for quite so ti now, and dealing with those eccentric overwhelmingly powerful girls on a daily basis was leaving him ntally exhausted.
Elsa, in particular, didn't treat him with any restraint whatsoever. Who knew how much she'd already taken advantage of his physically state?
As the Captain of the Hera familia, Elsa's private life was strictly monitored, so she couldn't exactly have a boyfriend.
Thus, she was incredibly bold and physically affectionate with Sion in her daily interactions.
The other girls frequently teased him as well. As a civilian, he had no physical ans to fight back against a horde of superhuman girls, so he was forced to just endure it.
Fortunately, teria didn't seem to mind in the slightest. Even when she caught them teasing him, she just laughed it off warmly.
This lack of jealousy only fueled the other girls and firmly cented Hera's decision not to officially induct Sion into the familia.
Though, Sion had no real desire to join the Hera familia anyway. If he had to choose, he'd prefer to join a startup familia.
With his theories, he could easily mold a new familia into his exact ideal shape. And with the Hera familia looming in the background, he had no reason to worry about his safety or political standing in Orario.
---
"Not everyone is Alfia," Sion sighed, shaking his head as he reviewed his notes on the girls training.
The Hera familia had nurous level 6 and level 7 adventurers, yet their learning speed was agonizingly slow. Sion's theories were too advanced and abstract for their falna reliant minds.
At this rate, it would take them at least a month or two just to grasp the basics of flight spell.
As for Alfia... He had perfected the spell right alongside her.
For the natives of this world, Sion's modern scientific theories were similar to divine knowledge. His systematic approach to problem solving surpassed even so of the gods.
"Let's head to the Dungeon to relax," After letting teria know, he headed out.
He could easily sense the high class adventurers trailing closely behind him but he pretended not to notice.
This trip to the Dungeon was primarily to test a few new theories and clear his head.
