Elsa was completely dumbfounded.
"Leaving aside an entire country, what about Orario?" Sion asked, a faint smile playing in his eyes.
"I'm a vanguard, not a mage! How could I possibly do sothing like that?" She retorted.
"Besides, even the most powerful mages cannot destroy an entire country in a single blow. Only the gods are capable of such a feat."
"You underestimate them."
Sion's voice was calm and asured. "As far as I know. A god could concentrate enough arcanum to obliterate an entire continent."
"In other words, with a single unrestrained move, almost the entire gekkai could be wiped out." Sion looked at the shocked Elsa.
"I may be a civilian, but that does not an I lack awareness of the true scale of their power."
Elsa's eyes widened drastically and for a mont, she entirely lost the ability to speak.
She knew for a fact that even at level 9, there was an insurmountable gulf between her and divine.
She could sense that the gap was far greater than what mortals could even comprehend. However, her understanding of divine power was still a vague.
She had no concrete awareness of their absolute destructive yield, which was why Sion's example shocked her.
Sion brought up this topic deliberately. He needed them to know that his understanding of combat power, destructive scaling, and global threats was absolute, thereby forcing them to take his warnings about the dragon seriously.
Could gods destroy the entire gekkai in a single blow?
To verify this horrifying claim, every executive in the hall turned their attention to the throne.
"It's true." Hera paused for a mont, then slowly nodded her head.
Shit...
Although they all knew of the terrifying majesty of the gods, this was the first ti they had ever been given a concrete asure of their absolute power.
He knew sothing this deeply guarded, just what kind of background did Sion have?
Everyone began speculating wildly. Sion had already proven his capability, and his terrifying understanding of divine power only cented the credibility of his words.
However, as Sion swept his gaze across the room, he saw that the familia executives were still practically vibrating with fighting spirit. They had not been discouraged in the slightest.
I suppose this is to be expected, Sion thought.
Even after hearing all of this... it's normal to have reservations or deny the danger if they haven't faced the despair with their own eyes.
Moreover, these won stood at the pinnacle of this world. If they could not slay the beast, then no one else in history ever could. This was the source of both their unshakeable confidence and their fatal arrogance.
Sion had said all he could. He had warned them about the true danger of the dragon to the best of his ability.
There was no point in wasting his breath further.
Ultimately, he was just a civilian. He had no right to dictate the military decisions of the world's strongest familia.
With the tactical advantage of flight spell and the seed of caution he had just planted in their minds, they should at least be able to approach the expedition more carefully.
"This intelligence was incredibly valuable." Hera nodded, looking at Sion with a mix of surprise and respect. "Is there anything else?"
"That's all," Sion shook his head.
"I see... Then tell , what is it that you want?" Hera demanded, her tone leaving no room for argunt. "You'll not refuse this ti, or you will be disrespecting my divine authority."
"Just gift that church," Sion said casually.
Hera: "..."
Sion was acting far too casually. It was as if he simply regarded the fearso Hera Familia as his own eccentric in laws, completely ignoring their status and political power.
As the strongest faction in the world, the Hera familia had top tier strength, endless wealth, and unmatched connections.
Yet, he seed to have no need for any of it.
And realistically, that was the truth. With Sion's abilities, earning vast amounts of valis would be effortlessly easy for him.
He did not need their training or instruction. In terms of the arcane, even though he was not an adventurer, his knowledge and practical application had already surpassed the most elite mages of this world.
In terms of survival, Sion could navigate the upper floors freely. Once he officially received a falna and his physical stats caught up to his mind, he could easily operate solo all the way down to the middle floors.
As for connections? Aside from his intimate ties with teria and Alfia, Sion had independently built a strong relationship with Riveria.
He was already organically weaving his own network.
It was no exaggeration to say that the material support the Hera familia could actually offer Sion was around 30%.
"I understand," Hera finally nodded, an amused glint in her eyes. "Since you'll accept nothing else, you will stay here at the Hera familia estate for a while."
"Allow to do my best to be a proper host. In exchange, you'll help instruct my children in your new theories."
Sion looked at Hera with genuine surprise.
He was surprised because this was females only familia. No n were allowed to stay on their grounds overnight.
Sion was undoubtedly the first male in history to receive such an unprecedented honor.
As for his living arrangents... teria had her own private quarters within the estate, so there was certainly no need for Hera to set aside a separate guest room for him.
