Sion had promised to cure her.
He went so far as to study magic just for her sake. By using his powers, he gave her genuine hope in a short span of two months.
His dedication was sothing else in itself.
teria was deeply moved by his actions.
Wanting to return his affection in kind, her love and acceptance for him grew even deeper.
On top of that, Alfia was soone she loved dearly. Because teria understood Alfia's feelings, she gladly accepted the outco.
It was a reward for his hard work, as well as a gentle push to help Alfia accept her own desires.
"It's my greatest fortune to be your hero."
Sion spoke softly. "Whether it cos to my needs or my well being, I only made it this far because of you."
"Saying such things is really embarrassing."
They shared a tender look.
Gripping each other's hands a little tighter, they enjoyed a stroll down the street.
Normally, a couple as striking as them would draw crowds. However, Sion had made a spell specifically to conceal their presence ensuring no one interrupted their peace.
After wandering the city for a while, the two headed back to their ho.
"I'm so happy." teria sank into the sofa, looking completely fulfilled despite her exhaustion.
"We spent the entire day walking around. I could never have imagined doing sothing like this before."
Thanks to his regulation spell, teria's body had recovered greatly. She was now healthy enough to be considered a normal person.
A full day out only left her feeling tired.
In the past, she'd have fainted or gone into shock long before the sunset.
"Huh, Alfia hasn't returned yet." teria tapped her chin thoughtfully.
"I went a bit too far. She's probably hiding from us, right?" Sion replied.
Ever since their last encounter, Alfia had been avoiding both of them. She even retreated back to Hera's familia to stay out of sight.
As ntioned before, the twins owned two residences. One was a room inside Hera familia and the other was a mansion in the district.
Alfia had looked flustered when she ran into teria. That was exactly why teria brought the topic up during their date earlier today.
"I can't believe she acts like this now. I always thought she'd just put up a cold front to protect herself whenever she panicked." teria smiled mischievously.
"Maybe her defenses weren't strong enough this ti, so running away was her only option?"
"Ara Ara~! How cute."
Sion couldn't help but glance at teria.
Was she always like this?
"Do you want to go bring her back?"
teria asked with naughty glint.
"Let's drop it for now and give her so ti to cool off." Sion hesitated for a second before shaking his head.
"It's better not to provoke her right now."
"Fair enough." teria nodded. "Alfia isn't honest with her feelings at all. If I push her too hard, I might actually get beaten up."
Night had fallen.
Since they had eaten plenty of street food throughout the day, neither of them felt hungry.
Sion used his absorption spell to cleanse their bodies, and the two retreated to their bedroom.
...
"This should be perfect."
A few days passed by. Sion scribbled and drew across a piece of parchnt. Once his plans were finalized, he tucked the notes away.
"teria."
Sion waved his hand, calling over teria who was reading a book.
He had a crucial piece of research regarding soul magic to complete. Once finished, it would push his strength to a whole new level.
Although he had achieved a lot, he honestly had zero confidence in the two strongest familias in the world.
According to the ani, the destruction of those two major forces plunged all of Orario into chaos.
The evilus rapidly expanded and the entire city turned into a breeding ground for tragedy.
That era lasted for over ten years.
Even when the ani officially began, evilus was still orchestrating massive disasters.
