They finished counting everything much faster than anyone expected.

"Three million Valis..."

It was an astronomical sum. A massive haul for a single morning's work, easily equating to the combined daily inco of dozens of standard adventuring parties.

"The drops from the first through fifth floors were fairly sparse," the appraiser muttered, adjusting his glasses. "But from the sixth floor onward, the number of Magic Stones is staggering. The total payout cos to three million valis."

"..." The surrounding Guild advisors and staff stared at the massive sacks of valis being pushed across the counter. Just thinking about the sheer amount of killing required to farm that many stones made their hands go numb.

Reaching the million-valis mark was usually a feat reserved for established mid-tier expedition teams.

But here, it was just two people. Or really, just one. The Pallum was there as a Supporter, but August was the only one actually fighting.

This guy was a monster for a rookie!

"Three million valis! Incredible!" Hestia bead with pride. "That's my child for you!"

To her, August was already the strongest adventurer in the city.

"Here." August grabbed a smaller, presorted sack containing roughly 30% of the total haul and handed it to Liliruca Arde. It was her agreed-upon cut.

Lili stared at the bag of Valis but didn't take it. Her chest felt tight.

"Lady Hestia, please take my cut. Consider it my contribution fund for joining your Familia."

Lili wasn't just begging to be taken in—more importantly, she needed to buy her way out of her current Familia. Even if it ant becoming a rogue Supporter with no party to rely on, she was determined to see it through.

Her sudden declaration stunned the nearby advisors. Who would casually offer an entry fee of nearly a million valis?

But Hestia, who already knew about Lili's past, didn't expect her to be this determined.

"Oh? Interesting." Hestia crossed her arms and looked at the Pallum with curiosity. 'So, she wants to leave her Familia...'

"Keep your money," Hestia declared. "If you really want to join my Familia, I have one condition."

"Drink the divine wine brewed personally by your Patron God. If you can still stand in front of him after drinking it and explicitly state that you are leaving the Soma Familia, then co find ."

Hestia stared down at the small girl. In this mont, she revealed the true nature of a God of this world. She wanted to witness a miracle from this child. A future was forged only by miracles, one without them was dood to diocrity.

Lili's face paled and contorted with fear.

She couldn't believe Lady Hestia's condition was for her to consu Soma's divine wine and retain her sanity. How could anyone do that? No mortal could resist that intoxicating curse.

August smiled and patted her shoulder. "You can run for a while, but you can't run forever."

After a mont, he realized his words sounded too dark and nacing, almost like he was pressuring a teammate, so he quickly tried to take them back.

"Don't sweat it. Just get it right next ti."

Lili, already paralyzed by anxiety, stared at the rookie in utter confusion. What did he an, 'get it right next ti'? There was no next ti with the divine wine! Was he trying to pile on the psychological pressure?

August and Hestia didn't bother trying to decode Lili's internal panic. Words were cheap—so things had to be experienced firsthand to be understood.

"Co on, let introduce you to a few of my friends," Hestia said, lifting her chin proudly. She grabbed August's arm and dragged him out of the Adventurer's Guild, heading toward the residential district where her fellow Gods lived.

As soon as the Goddess and her child left, the tense silence in the Guild ended, and chaos broke out.

The staff had been holding their breath the whole ti. After seeing the huge payout and hearing about August's achievents, it didn't feel real. They thought he was just a regular Supporter, not a powerful Adventurer.

Left alone at the counter, Lili stared at the bag containing nearly a million Valis. Securing the heavy sack, she turned and walked away.

She needed ti to think. Should she face the divine wine and try for a better future, or stay stuck in her painful life? The decision weighed heavily on her.

August and Hestia didn't notice her leaving. They were already making their way down the busy main street.

"Friends? Hestia, since when did you start networking?" August asked, noticing her smug swagger.

"Heh. I got the idea after seeing what you showed ," Hestia said with a grin. "I used the two deposit cards from Hephaestus to buy a good batch of healing potions."

"And with this new pile of Valis, we have enough capital to buy even more potions in bulk for trading."

Hestia was well aware that their Familia's finances were tight. August had just made three million Valis, but compared to the astronomical cost of the military-grade hardware he had requisitioned from Earth, it was a drop in the bucket. However, by establishing a cross-dinsional trade route using Orario's healing potions, they could easily wipe out that deficit.

"To get the best quality potions at a steep discount, I had to leverage my connections," Hestia explained excitedly.

In Orario, a standard healing potion costs a re five hundred Valis. But back on Earth? Those potions were literal miracles. A liquid capable of instantly healing severe acid burns, third-degree fire damage, or severe frostbite? In the modern world, the ultra-rich would easily pay tens of thousands, or even hundreds of thousands, for a single vial.

While healing potions were mass-produced in Orario, they weren't generic. Every dical Familia had its own closely guarded proprietary recipes. Hestia's plan was to monopolise a supply line for these potions for export. dical supplies were always the ultimate high-value commodity.

"Good. I also managed to secure so monster drop items in the Dungeon," August added. "I think the researchers back ho will be really interested in them."

He hadn't just collected Magic Stones during his trip. More importantly, he picked up so rare monster drop materials. For scientists on Earth, samples from fantasy monsters would be priceless for research.

Drop items were famously rare, and August planned to sell a few on Earth. The drop rates were purely a matter of luck. He had defeated thousands of monsters today but only got a few drops, showing his luck wasn't the best.

An Adventurer with high luck could probably score a drop after killing just a dozen goblins. anwhile, he was dealing with a one-in-a-thousand drop rate. It was a tough grind.
