"No one said you were getting married."
Ui Hirasawa looked at her older sister's spaced-out expression, knowing she was letting her imagination run wild again.
Absolutely not... As the protective younger sister, Ui hated the idea of her sister getting married.
"Ui looks so scary," Yui murmured, noticing the dark aura radiating from her sister. She felt like Ui was being unusually strict today.
Ignoring her goofy sister, Ui turned to the Goddess.
"Lady Hestia, we'll be in your care from now on." Ui knelt down and bowed deeply to show her respect.
"Alright." Hestia smiled and led the girls to their bedroom to start the contract ceremony.
Downstairs, August sipped his coffee slowly.
"Now that I think about it, drinking coffee this late... am I asking for insomnia?"
He thought maybe drinking caffeine this late wasn't smart, but shrugged it off. He wasn't exactly a normal human anymore. A few late nights wouldn't hurt him.

Inside Yui's bedroom.
The usually airheaded Yui sat quietly on the floor with her back to Hestia.
"Lady Hestia, what kind of person is Mr. August?" Yui suddenly asked.
Hestia, busy preparing the Falna, and Ui, who was watching closely, both froze at Yui's sudden question.
'This is bad...'
Both Hestia and Ui had the sa thought. Yui was suddenly asking about a guy—was this her first crush?
Hestia chose to be completely honest.
"He's an ordinary person. He's not exceptionally gifted, and he can't compare to those born as geniuses… but he's a kind, gentle, and very hardworking person."
Hestia listed August's real strengths. He had a strong sense of right and wrong, which made him different. Deep down, he was just a regular guy, not pretending to be sothing he wasn't. He was simply hardworking, kind, and gentle.
"Kind and gentle?" Yui repeated, hearing Hestia's evaluation.
If a Goddess said August was a good person, then he must be. He actually seed pretty nice.
'This isn't good,' Ui thought, quickly realizing what this could an. Words like "kind and gentle" were especially dangerous for a traditional girl.
"Is it my turn now?" Ui jumped in, trying to change the subject.
"Yes, it's Ui's turn now," Hestia agreed right away, secretly glad the younger sister was so quick. 'That's right. Stop those romantic ideas before they start.'
"Oh." With her thoughts interrupted, Yui moved and watched as Hestia started the contract ritual for Ui.
She watched as a glowing blue crest appeared on Ui's back.
"WHOA!"
Yui hadn't seen the process before, since her back was turned earlier. Now, seeing the glowing Falna appear on Ui's skin, she thought it looked amazing. She leaned in, moving her head from side to side, almost wanting to touch the light.
"What's so interesting about it?" Hestia asked, watching Yui act like a curious kid.
"I'm just curious!" Yui grinned. "Um, do we have magic now?"
The idea of becoming an Adventurer ant she could learn magic. And magic was really cool.
Hestia took out two sheets of parchnt and wrote down their statuses:
[Yui Hirasawa]
Level: 1
Strength: 0 | Endurance: 0 | Dexterity: 0 | Agility: 0 | Magic: 0
Skills: None
Magic: None
——————————
[Ui Hirasawa]
Level: 1
Strength: 0 | Endurance: 0 | Dexterity: 0 | Agility: 0 | Magic: 0
Skills: None
Magic: None
"Why is everything zero?" Yui stared at the stat sheet, feeling like she'd just failed a big test.
"Adventurers get stat points by earning Excelia," Hestia explained. "The easiest way to get Excelia is by defeating enemies."
"But that's not the only way. You can also get different kinds of Excelia through personal growth and hard training."
Hestia gave them a thorough explanation, laying out the chanics of being an Adventurer along with its advantages and risks. Both sisters listened with keen interest.
"As for magic, you have to learn it," Hestia continued. "Or you can awaken it by reading Grimoires—special books that record magic. That way, you can unlock spells suited to your affinities."
"Skills, on the other hand, usually manifest as an ability that directly answers your deepest desires or state of mind."
With this explained, Hestia felt sure the girls would eventually get their own Magic and Skills. Smart kids usually did well, and even fools had their own kind of luck. These two sisters seed to be a perfect mix of both.
The fact that they crossed worlds and t August and Hestia showed that luck was definitely on their side.
"Thank you so much, Lady Hestia," Ui said, truly grateful for the Goddess's help.
After giving the Falna to both girls, Hestia realized sothing important. Her divine Falna wasn't broken or strange. She had thought giving the Falna would always be like it was with August, but now she saw that his quick awakening was actually very rare.
Hestia kept this important detail to herself and made a ntal note.
"Good girls." Hestia reached out and softly patted Yui's head.
"Hehehe." As Hestia patted her head, Yui felt her heart lt. She was filled with a warm, comforting feeling, like being with family. Hestia's motherly presence made her feel completely at ease.
'As expected of Lady Hestia,' Ui thought as she watched her sister smile under the goddess's gentle hand. That was all the proof she needed that Hestia was truly kind and caring.
"Mhm, mhm. Lady Hestia makes feel like a baby listening to a lullaby," Yui humd, enjoying every mont.
